Apparently they don't offer the water for a kids pedicure, which I've never heard of. I asked twice and they said no just polish. This literally says pedicure soak-- they weren't very welcoming when I first came in and my daughter's pedicure was towards the end of my visit. I got a fill with a basic color, pedicure, both gel--- kids manicure and pedicure. I left paying over $250 which was INSANE. I have gotten all this with a full set or design nails and have never paid that much. And my daughter didn't even get the proper pedicure. My nails didn't chip until a week later, but that still way too soon for a new color. One of my nails top layer meltd off some how, like smeared and the color just came off. Needless to say, I've avoided going back and have looked for another salon. Not a vibe. read more

My daughter went here for a BASIC pedi and full set mani. She sat there for almost 50 mins before getting in to get Beautified. In the end, it cost $137. I'm not sure how that happened because that does not add up to the pricing on their pricing list. We are not going back there. read more

I have been going to Focus Nail Spa for several years and have been to their newest location Focus Nail Spa 1 by Kohl's on 37 in Noblesville.. Owners John and Jenni are very hard working and the salon is extremely clean....new tools used for every client. Will do a fabulous job of cleaning up your fingers and toes! They offer a ton of colors and different types of manicures and pedicures. They take walk-ins, but during the holidays I would make an appointment if you could ... cause they get really really busy. I brought my 5 year old daughter in for a simple polish and they refused to do her nails. They told me that they didn't have time. It's 4;56 and I didn't mind waiting. I should have looked at the reviews before I went but my friend picked the location. I went in for a dip manicure and walked out very disappointed. I picked a very neutral color because I wanted it to look nice as it grew out. I showed her the color and she came back with pesto pink, she assured me it would lighten up if she mixed with white, it didn't. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the color instead of removing it she just miles more colors on top until I finally settled on a color that wasn't horrible. I now have 5-6 layers of dip on my nails and they are so thick I'm embarrassed or anyone to look at my hands. Once I got into the car I noticed that she didn't even file them straight. I should have gone back in but by that point I was so over it I just left $43 poorer. read more

I go here every couple of weeks for a powder dip mani. I've only gotten one pedi from them because they are always booked solid for pedicures so they must be good. I've done gel mani and pedi and powder dip mani from here and all their technicians are good and personable. read more

We get it, it's Friday, it's busy, but that doesn't mean you rush your clients... esp paying clients. They are so rude. I got my nails done there today and they do a good job but the guy told me he was going to cut me with the drill if I didn't stop moving. I wasn't moving. He was hurting me he was holding and manipulating my fingers so hard. No one smiles. They are unprofessional. I'm glad there are other choices in the area. read more

I went here to get an acrylic set. The woman doing my nails was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. She asked me what shape I wanted and when I told her stiletto, the response I got was "No." She tried to talk me into a different shape and when I insisted I wanted stiletto, she got an attitude with me. Then she cut me and didn't even apologize. The cut was still hurting and looked so terrible days afterwards that I was worried it was infected and almost went to the doctor because of it. She did a horrible job on my nails, the acrylic was way too thick and lumpy. It looked like a DIY job gone bad. It was fortunate that I had a gift certificate here, otherwise I would've refused to pay for this service. read more

I have been going here for quite some time now with my daughter. We usually have the best experience and love coming but today, the man who did my nails was very rough, rude and when I asked for my nails to be shorter, he was rude about it and became even rougher on my nails. He wasn't easy or careful putting the gel light over my hands then had the nerve to tell me "to be careful" my nails are long, and not straight what so ever. I also have nail polish all over my knuckles that he didn't care to clean off for me. My daughter whose nails were done by someone else are not clean or painted fully. When we went to pay, she paid cash with her own money and left a cash tip. But when I paid by card to the man who did mine, he got crappy with me because his tip wasn't cash also. I told him I tipped him $10 on the receipt from my card, he jerked the receipt from me and said he should be getting cash while shaking his head at me. He was so unprofessional and rude to me. WORST PLACE EVER. I went to Focus nail spa yesterday with 2 of my girlfriends to get 2 full sets & a fill! It was around 2:30 & wasn't very busy. We waited for about 5 minutes until we were seated. The man working I believe goes by John, started working on my hands. I let him know that i had recently damaged 2 nails & that they were still very sensitive! He began working on my hands & everything was going great until he started rushing and hurting me to where i jerked away and my phone dropped. Once i picked my phone up he told me "You move over there when your done on your phone i'll do your nails" i was in shock because not only was he so unbelievably rude about it, but i hadn't even been on my phone. That was the first red flag. I brushed it off and let him continue. it started getting busy and i could tell he was stressing a bit. That's when right in the middle of my service he left the table and went outside. I waited 5 minutes for him to come back while one of my girlfriends was still waiting for someone to begin her nails. (she waited 45 min) When he came back he reeked of cigarette smoke & preceded to work on my left hand. He started rushing my hand and finished it in 5 min. My right nails looked terrible!!! I politely asked him to fix my hand and try to make them look as similar as possible. That's when he told me that if i want my nails to look the same and look good then i should have come in on a slower day. i replied by saying "so does that mean i don't have to pay full price then?" he proceeds to tell me that i have to pay 40$ which is full price. He was so rude during all of this as well. I told him i will not be paying full price for 1 hand so he moved me to the next girl & she finished painting my nails. I tipped her and didn't even tip the guy. I work in the industry so i understand it can be overwhelming but you NEVER tell a customer that is PAYING YOU for a service that they should have come in on a slower day. I will not be coming back & I would strongly suggest no one comes here. My girlfriend didn't even end up getting her nails done. all the customers shook the head & started laughing when this man acted this way. it was unbelievable. i can guarantee that the customers in there were just as shocked as i was. read more

I have tried several other places & I always end up back at focus nails! They're the best! They do the best job & they clean up around your nail better than anyone, they remove ingrown nails, their work is always so much neater than anywhere else I've been, & it lasts the longest of anywhere else I've been. The entire saloon needs to go through customer service training. I want to be pampered when I go to a saloon and relax. If they are having a bad day and stressed they take it out on their clients. I have been there more than once and seen people walk out in the middle of having their nails done. The manager can be a jerk, so everyone else (except Ginny's mom) think it is OK. I have gone there for years and yesterday will be my last. Last time I went I got a full set of acrylic nails and pedicure. The gentleman that gave me my mani/pedi spoke english very well (plus- the salon should work on their english since all of their clients speak english. I have never seen a vietnamese customer!!!) The gentleman that did nails did a good job and was very customer focused. I tipped him better than I did the others do to his fantastic customer service. Yesterday I had Nikki. She does a fantastic job on pedicures and manicures, but again like the others if she is in a bad mood she will be rude. That is just not acceptable in my opinion. All customers should be treated professionally and pampered. This was my first fill after my acrylics and I went to move my bangs out of my eyes and she yelled at me. She said she didn't want me to get makeup on my nails. I really didn't have much on and this should have been my first red flag. She just started working on my nails therefore there was no nail polish on them or fill. At one time she put cuticle oil on them and told me to rub them on. It took me a minute to figure out what she wanted me to do. I thought OK this is weird and rubbed in the oil. Then she squirted lotion on my hand and said said done. I questioned no hand massage ( I normally get one when I get a regular gel manicure) and she said fill and gell no hand massage. Wow !!! She immediately checked me out not saying anything I even asked her if she was having a bad day. She looks to see how much she tipped and I debated not tipping at all due to her rudeness. However, she did through her rudeness do a great job on my nails. I gave her only a $2.00 tip. She was quick to see how much a left her and didn't even thank me. Here is my TIP to you FOCUS Nails. Take care of your customers. Ensure that they are pampered, and speak English. You will be surprised on how they will take care of you. Your customer's are the ones that keep you in business and word of mouth spreads. I will not be back and will be spreading the word. I have had it with you RUDENESS!!!! read more
