If I could give Michael zero stars, I would. I retained him as my divorce lawyer for over a year…read more Every time I talked to him, it was like he was reviewing my case for the first time. We had to spend time continuously reviewing the case. My wife's lawyer was playing games to extend the divorce proceedings, and cost me more money. The "great advice" he gave me was to leave my house, rent an apartment, and stop paying my mortgage. The mortgage on the house was in my name only. The ex wife had no obligation to pay it. If I took his advice I would have ruined my credit, and my kids would have been homeless and would have hated me. Near the end of the whole ordeal we were set to meet with a court appointed negotiator to finalize the details of the case. I contacted my ex-wife, her lawyer, and my lawyer, Michael Kuldiner, and told them what I would agree to before we went before the court. The day of the meeting, my wife's lawyer said she would agree to the parameters I had sent in the email. Michael had no idea why the opposing lawyer was agreeing to the parameters of the divorce. She chuckled when she told him that his client, me, had emailed all parties two (2) weeks ago with the list. It was the list of parameters I had given him to negotiate for over a year. The only thing that he was up to date on were the bills to pay him for his "services". I could not recommend finding a different lawyer other than Michael Kuldiner more if you ever need a divorce attorney.

I have received three illegal termination of lease notices, in one week, from Cohen Marraccini on…read morebehalf of Altman Property Management Dba Blue Grass Estates. Not only are these predatory notices illegal because they violate HUD laws regarding pests, but they have resulted in me having to file a Fair Housing complaint against Altman and Blue Grass staff. At the direction of my attorney and Tenants Union. I have underlying health issues and I have lived in my unit over three years. My rent is paid multiple months in advance to secure my housing during these unforseen times, and this completely set me back health wise. I have declined in my condition more than ever during this period, than any other time during the Pandemic. Altman is basically targeting unsuspecting tenants to pay out of pocket for pests extermination and carpet cleaning, as a result of infestations that do not originate in our units. Instead of doing the right and lawful thing, and addressing this very serious issue by eliminating the pests at Altman's expense, they wait until individual tenants find the pests and railroad us into paying for extermination treatments and carpet cleanings ourselves or threaten to evict us. Unfortunately for them, I know my rights, have an attorney and have ongoing issues with Blue Grass. My recourse continues to pile up. This is taking a toll on a whole community already crushed under the stress of Covid-19. I am concerned for my neighbors too as these pests are multiplying because of the neglect of Altman, and reinforcement from Cohen Marraccini in this illegal practice. This escalated situation could have been easily avoided had Altman just followed the, recently updated, HUD laws regarding bed bugs. Updated recently infact, to address predatory practices like this one. If a tenant is sheltering in place for months all of a sudden gets bed bugs, (after having recently been notified that exterminators were going to be spraying for them in their building), how does Altman, and their representation, think they are going to evict said tenant for not absorbing the costs of CARPET CLEANING AND AN EXTERMINATION? More over, for pests that didn't originate in their unit??? Totalling upwards of $500!? During a Pandemic no less!? Sad but more importantly creating unsafe housing conditions for a vulnerable community. It's ILLEGAL. Period.

He won't take you on as a client if he truely doesn't believe in you and knows something good will come out of your case. A no-nonsense man. Honesty and constant communication are the key. He makes you feel right at home in his place of business and not to mention, Lorrie Inlander. The beautiful inside and out, paralegal to Mr. Brownstein. She's an attribute to his office. She's an extremely and absolutely kind, as well as helpful to a "a fault", intelligent woman. She will work to her best ability for you. She's been helping me build up my confidence. I received Disorderly Conduct ticket, and mailed in a request and a check to set up a $10 per month payment plan ($300 ticket). I am aware that is a low amount monthly, but it is ALL I CAN AFFORD. I have a 10 month old daughter, I am a recovering opiate addict (3 years clean), and my job is literally hanging by a thread because the company I work for is not profiting. My drug treatment program costs me nearly $450 a month on top of rent, food, my car expenses, and my child! I do not have $25 a month to give these people, yet he still denied me. A difference of $15 a month was apparently too drastic for him. I guess Bucks County really needs my money. He showed literally NO compassion. I was not disrespectful, I was not rude, and I showed up ON TIME. I explained my situation as politely and respectfully as I could. This is not the first time I have ever spoken to a judge. When he viewed my phone bill, he said to me, "Why do you need a phone?" I was baffled, and still am. Does this man live in 1965 still? "Why don't you use a landline?" he asked. I explained that I don't have one, and even if I did it would COST MONEY. Does Mr. Benz think phone lines are free? I hope and pray for the people of Bucks County. I hope you do not ever have to deal with this compassion-less dope in the courtroom. Obviously he is a Republican; it did not shock me to learn that. Mr. Benz essentially spit in my face and told me to get out. I'm happy I don't visit Bucks County anymore. The sight of this man would make me ill.

Tom was patient and never pressed us to make a decision. When we finally decided on a house it turned out to be a battle to do the deal. The owner was more than difficult. To be honest, the owner of the house was literally crazy but, we were determined to get the house. Tom was with us every step of the way; negotiating inspection terms, U & O, setting up the inspection and actually doing quite a bit of work in the house in order for us to comply with Bristol Borough's unreasonable demands and requirements. I had no idea that a realtor would go to such lengths to make a client happy and make the purchase happen no matter what the obstacles. Tom knew, after showing us homes 2-3 days a week for 4 months, that it really was the perfect house for us and he didn't let the nutty owners deter us from making it our dream home. Tom was a pleasure to work with and my husband and I enjoyed getting to know him. We actually miss him now that we're settled and happy in our new home. We would unquestionably recommend Tom and Century 21 to anyone looking for a home.
