Excited to leave a 5 star review for this salon! I was in town for a wedding at The Broadmoor over Labor Day weekend and wanted hair and make up done on short notice. Kim (owner) and her team accommodated myself and a friend for appointments Saturday morning. We had a blast! The conversation and service were top notch accompanied by celebratory glasses of wine to kick off our party weekend. My friend and I got our makeup done, very dramatic and applied so well that our faces lasted until the very end of the reception with minimal touch ups. My friend got her hair curled and styled, I got an up do (initially I didn't like what they did, wasn't quite like the photos I showed them. Kim took my hair down and started it again to get it right. Cost us some extra time but my hair looked great for the wedding and stayed in place!) Both Kim and our makeup artist were friendly and receptive to our input and feedback, ensuring we got exactly the looks we wanted. I saw Kim Romano after I had a HORRIBLE highlight and cut at another salon. She saw me for a 30 minute consultation, looked at pictures, discussed ideas and how to fix what had been broken. I got in right away and walked out a new woman! My hair is perfect! The cut is fabulous and she managed to do exactly what I'd expected the first time. As I told her "You've taken 20 yrs off my mask!" Kim has a lot of experience and listens. She knows what is possible and what isn't and will be straight up with you. I just moved to Colorado and was looking for a new stylist and a place to get everything done. I have been wearing extensions for 20 years & had to take them out when I moved. I had them done by several different stylist through the years but never did I have an experience like I had at Foils salon. My extensions are absolutely amazing. The hair feels like it's my own. They are so comfortable and the bonds feel so much better than any bond I have ever had. They also coloured my hair & it was healthier after the colour than it was before, She blended my colour with my extensions perfectly too I'm so happy with my long blonde hair again. I'm hooked on my new extensions. I also think the products that the stylist recommended helped. I always used salon products but the new one they recommended is by far my favorite now. read more

Don't go to Foil Salon for highlights. They charge way to much. They don't know how to do roots. They ruined my hair. Don't let the name fool you. read more

I have been thinking about this before posting this. But after doing my hair today I am finally mad enough to post it. I am new to town and I have high standards when it comes to hair salons. But at the same time, times are hard and I cant afford the things i used to before the pandemic. So, when I saw a deal for 50% off with Alex at Foil Saon, I called and made an appt. I never got a reminder call or text. I called and left a message a couple of days before my appt too and tried to change my appt and never got a callback. The day of my appt I walked into the salon was impressed; the salon is BEAUTIFUL! The bathroom is soooo nice! Alex was very sweet but never asked how much exactly I wanted to take off. I told her I wanted a VERY CLEAN STRAIGHT BOB. She admitted she was super sluggish that day and when I saw how she was cutting my hair i knew it wasnt going to be what i wanted. Ive been getting a Bob haircut for a while and i know the technic and she was doing the minimum. She asked if I wanted my hair curly or straight. I had to ask her to do my hair straight so i could see the cut. She blowdried it but didnt use a straightening iron to get it super clean. When it was time to check out, i got charged, $60 and of course, i tipped her. I'm not a total jerk. I did not expect her to charge me $60 because I was told I was getting 50% off. But i didnt say anything because if i started saying one thing i was going to go off with everything that has gone wrong. When i got home I looked at the cut and realized that it was helllllla uneven. So i called and went back. Jose, who was also very sweet, took the clippers to the back of my hair and made it straight. I wasnt mad about it but he only looked at the back. The rest of the hair was uneven too. So i went home mad that i just paid $75 for a cut that I dont even like. When i started doing my hair with my straightening iron today and see how uneven it really is, i pulled out my computer and started writing this. I just want a straight super clean bob. i know its not an easy cut. But if youre going to charge $60 for a cut, i expect it to be done correctly. read more

Love the atmosphere of the salon and Jose is awesome. I have super thick, frizzy, curly, long hair and he is a master with it. The head and hand massage is incredible. He takes the time to do a great job but is also quick! Other places I have gone require and extra 30 minutes with me. Amazing!!! read more
