If you want to go to a doctors office that requires you to wait 30 minutes or longer this is the spot for you! If you also want to deal with an incompetent office staff it is also the place for you! I have visited many different speciality offices, and this is the only office with rude office assistants and where I have waited the longest to see nurse practitioners or a doctor. While I understand emergencies happen, this can't be the case every single time. Asking for basic things like forms being filled out or having your records transferred seems to be quite difficult for this staff. Dr. Foley comes highly recommended and he does a great job at listening and building a relationship with his patients, if you get to see him. NP Jessica and Mel are also great, but NP Mel is a lot friendlier. Problem 1: Appointments are never on time; they are anywhere from 30 minutes or longer, our last one being close to an hour after our scheduled time. This has never been the case at any other doctor's office. Normally I am notified by front staff or a nurse periodically checks in with me. Not the case at Dr. Foley's office, they make you wait in the room by yourself with no update of when you will see someone. Did they forget about me? Not sure because again, you can never get an answer out of anyone. Problem 2: I asked NP Mel for my FMLA paperwork to be signed. I requested that they be returned by the end of the week and she said that wouldn't be a problem. Come Thursday, I called the office and asked for an update regarding my paperwork. They didn't have an update and stated someone would call me back. Later that afternoon, an hour or two before they were closing I called because I didn't get a call back. When I followed up with them I was met with, "if they didn't call it's not signed". I was astonished by how rude their staff is. Friday comes along and I have no form sent to me. If they needed longer then I wish this was presented when I originally placed the request and I would have been more understanding. Problem 3: At this point, I called another OB office who said they could have the FMLA form filled out the same day. I am beyond stressed with Foley's office that I no longer felt comfortable going to their clinic. I called to request my medical records be transferred over to my new office and that they send me the copy as well. I was promptly sent the authorization form. I requested that they confirm the form was received, never received confirmation. On Saturday, I wasn't sure if they heard my request for my medical records, so I emailed again asking for them. The following week, I waited until Wednesday to call to see how long my medical records would take. Again, I felt I was met with hostility with the staff. I was told legally they have 30 days to transfer and send me my records. Cool... I have never had an office staff actually take that long. Most places I have been to always send records over within a day or two at the most. Seems like this office is being petty and stalling at sending my records. Maybe I am wrong, but the attitudes of the staff make me think otherwise. If you are willing to wait for long periods of time to see a NP or be treated poorly, then this is clearly the place for you. I get better care at military hospitals than here. Hopefully the office resolves this issue soon, I would love to have my medical records! read more

Had a prenatal massage today at 30 weeks pregnant and it was absolutely wonderful. Rosalyn (Roxy) did an amazing job. She was so gentle, attentive, and made me feel completely comfortable the entire time. She really listened to my needs and focused on the areas where I was experiencing the most tension and discomfort. Be prepared to WAIT for your appt. I had heard the stories of delays but had also heard Foley was worth it. We were looking to switch OBs but with how the first appt went, we decided otherwise. Checked in 10 minutes early. Waited 45 minutes with no update and finally went up to the front desk to see if maybe they missed checking me in or something. The girl gave me a short "we are backed up" answer and told us it shouldn't be too much longer. Another 30 minutes and we were finally in a room. A total of almost 2 hours spent there with only about 25 of it in an actual room- didn't even get to chat with Foley. I understand being busy/behind, but a heads up upon checking in would've gone a long way, or even an update while waiting. We don't expect rushed service, but two hours is in the realm of ridiculous. read more

My mom introduced me to Dr. Foley because he is her OB and he's been mine for 10 years and more years (or babies) to come. TL;DR: Dr Foley, his staff, his office are amazing and I highly recommend him. He's taken care of me since I started birth control, the addition of esthetician services is GENIUS, and when I plan on having kids there is no one else I would want as my doctor. Also, at least read my last paragraph. Whenever I have to schedule an appointment I bounce back and forth between the mililani or town location - whichever is easiest - so booking is really convenient. I also love that there is weekend availability since I have a consistent weekday schedule. The mililani location has been able to take me in very early lately so that's really impressive for doctors office. I had to do a Nexplanon removal and insertion at 12:30 and I was texted at 11:45 that they were ahead of schedule so I could go in early. I wasn't prepared for that because who really prepares for a Dr's appointment to run early so I didn't take advantage of it because I wasn't even in the area. Some might think this was just a one-time thing, but a month later, when I had my follow up, the same thing happened where I could go in 30 minutes early to my appointment if I wanted. Of course, I've also been in situations where I've had to wait but that was years ago, and honestly the waiting wasn't horrendously long, and that's what we have apps on our phone for right? Now, I don't know about you but if I was to pair an OB/GYN office with something else my first choice wouldn't be esthetician services, but I have been proven very wrong. Now that I've actually tried and looked at what the office offers it makes SO MUCH SENSE. If you've been with Dr. Foley at the Mililani location chances are he'll suggest you something on the esthetician side, and it was always "sure, yeah, I'll try it" but never do, mostly because I never saw the point of them. But now that I'm an adult with moderate cystic (hormonal) acne, I started taking my skincare more serious. What I just learned about the Mililani location is that if the wait is long they offered complimentary waxing. Recently, I thought I wouldn't be able to do it since they were ahead of schedule but the MA's were so nice and they let get a wax before my appointment. When you think about it, it's like the free samples at costco, and it definitely worked for me, and I am so grateful! Kailee was the girl who did my waxing and she told me about all the things I'm missing out on; my advice: FOLLOW THEM ON INSTAGRAM. I personally don't have one but I see the deals going on and will take advantage of them soon. In fact, for Christmas this year I asked my husband to get me a facial service from the office so after I finish this review I'm going to go and book my Christmas present. Overall, something I've noticed is the staff stays with Dr. Foley for a long time and that says something greater than any word of mouth. You know what they say, management can really make or break the work environment. As a patient Dr. Foley treats me like family, he remembers little tidbits of my life that shows how he truly cares about each of his patients. I was in the office going back and forth with assistants for 3 hours (literally) and after that he came into the room for 5 minutes and made feel so embarrassed and uncomfortable. I've been a client there and I've actually praised them in the past. Sadly I can no longer do so. I had an appointment today for a wax maintenance ($65). I texted at 9am Sunday to cancel. My son is not well and I would not have someone to watch him. Nor would I want to leave my sick child. I received a reply text this morning at 8am. Stating that my appointment has been canceled at my request. I'm about 15 minutes later. I received a $75 charge for canceling my appointment. I called to find out why I was charged and the lady who normally waxes me told me that I did not cancel on 24 hours. So because I missed a one hour window, they charged me more than my actual appointment. I have always given grace and understanding if the waxer or anyone has ran behind on my appointment. I've never kept a tip from them because they were running behind. Or something had to change. But the one time, I had to make a change I was charged $75. I always have shown up for my appointments on time if not early. And I have always tipped. I understand that time is money, and I understand that her time is important. I have never not respected that. I'm disgusted by the fact that they could not show any respect to a client who has always respected policy. It is honestly sad to see a company be so money hungry and lose a client and have zero respect towards a client. I needed a high risk Dr for myself and my baby. Dr Foley did not even do the bare minimum for either one of us. I started panicking when I got to the hospital and saw the nurses reactions when they saw he was my Dr. The hospital didn't get any of my baby's medical records to get the additional care he needed. Dr Foley refused to call my specialist even though he promised to work with her after my delivery because of my neurological disease. I saw him once in the hospital after my c section and felt like I made him talk to me before he ran out the door. I asked how my c section went and he said he didn't remember. I told him I was in severe pain and he ordered a muscle relaxer and told me "not to overdose on him". My baby and I left the hospital without the treatment we had been promised and deserved. I was literally wheeled out three days later crying and in pain. It's been four months from my surgery and I'm still bleeding. I'm waiting to find out from my local OB what is wrong with me. I'm terrified he botched my c section. My baby and I needed the best and this was traumatizing. It upsets me so much I was treated that way when I trusted that Man to take care of us. read more

From the very first appt, there were massive red flags. I should have ran out of there, but with how long wait times are to get into a new place, I stuck it out. I have never written a review but feel this one is necessary! Yesterday was my first, and most definitely my last appointment with Dr. Foley. I waited for over two hours to be seen, with no communication from staff. When he did finally come in at 5:45pm he showed no compassion about my symptoms. He asked if I have been "googling" and that I need to just believe I'm going to live to be old. He was so rude! I didn't feel like he was genuinely listening to me. The minute he started stating that my back pain (which is just one of a few symptoms I told him about) could be from working on a pool deck, I walked out of his office mid sentence. He acts too high and mighty, uncompassionate, and rude for me. I highly don't recommend Dr. Foley!!!! read more

When I moved to Hawaii & 27 weeks pregnant Dr Foley took me on with my "complicated pregnancy". My baby has marginal cord insertion, I had gestation diabetes, thyroid problems, and I was seeking a VBAC. He took me on no questions asked. He took amazing care of me and baby! He monitored us closely so I was there very often and it became a family feel. I got my VBAC and went on ahead to have another baby with him 20 months later so that I could have another baby & never gave to deal with a pushy OB during a pregnancy again. Very thankful!!! His wait times can be lengthy, but it's because he cares and will stay with you till all your questions are answered. I wanted to love this OB office. So much. Everyone recommended it! It was "the best". It definitely wasn't for me. When I originally called, I explained I had a history of an SCH in a previous pregnancy and I was indeed bleeding with a positive pregnancy test at home. (And cramping). They told me the nearest appointment they had was in a month. A month. So. For a week I sucked it up, until that little voice in me said to try and call again because something felt off. So I did. I called again and asked to speak with the doctor. Instead they gave me the NP, Natalie who was very apologetic. She explained that wasn't their policy and asked if I could come in the same day. I was pleasantly surprised. Until I got there. They did an ultrasound and as she was doing it she literally said the words "I've never seen anything like this before". Now. As someone who has had an SCH, twin pregnancy, miscarriage in the past. This is one of the most unprofessional things you can say when someone's anxiety is already high! She finished the ultrasound and they ordered labs for me. I was very uncomfortable at this point. Again. Explained to Dr, Foley I felt this way and he did his best to put on his smile and convince me they cared. Well. Fast forward to the examples of caring. I showed up to do labs which I was told had an order in from Natalie. It didn't. I sat around for an hour waiting on that with my husband in the car waiting for me to drive him to a hand surgery appointment he ended up late for. Next, I was prescribed progesterone without the actual dr looking at me himself or doing any labs before subscribing it, and the real kicker was the last visit where they assured me I would be seen on time after screwing up my appointment time, and then had my two year old and I waiting longer than an hour in a cold room to be told he was fairly certain my pregnancy was non viable because his horrible and ancient sono machine is on the verge of being outdated. Natalie down the hall had nothing to say to me and avoided saying hello or even crossing my path. No apology. Just uncomfortable tension from the person who assured me this wasn't an environment like that. My gut told me to get the heck out of there and get a second opinion. Sure enough. I did. I went to Kapiolani hospital instead of following up here a few days later, and spoke to an amazing doctor who apologized for everything I had been though and showed me clear as day, my right on track baby with heartbeat and all picture perfect measuring right on cue. I don't know what is going on in this office in Miliani but I do know I want nothing to do with it, and if someone ever finds themselves in my position please be an advocate for yourself and your standards for healthcare. read more

I have a very serious condition affecting my quality of life and had an appointment to see dr Foley over 3 weeks ago. In that time I have been rescheduled by them twice. I call them today to confirm my appointment for Thursday and they told me my appointment was actually Tuesday. This is impossible because I'm an elementary school teacher and have staff meetings that day. I clearly remember explaining that to the receptionist when she called to reschedule my appointment. So now I am unable to go to my appointment after 3 weeks of trying to see them due to their inefficient scheduling. I just wanted to let the next person know that this place seems way to busy to truly care and give each patient the attention they deserve.
