After doing a little research, I came across a mouth device, called Thornton Adjustable Positioner, (TAP 3), which is a mouth device much like an Invisalign. The next step would be to figure out which orthodontist would offer the device. I made an appointment to see Dr. Iyer at Dr. Segal and Iyer Orthodontics, located at 501 NJ - 73 #202 Marlton New Jersey. I can honestly say I've never been to a facility more organized, and with 21st-century technology. Dr. Iyer was extremely amazing! She was able to sit with me and educate me on exactly how the device worked and how it's going to benefit my sleep habits. I will definitely recommend anyone with sleep apnea or any orthodontic issues to see Dr. Iyer. You will not be disappointed. When my son was young, I knew his bite alignment and teeth needed orthodontic attention. Through referrals from friends (who gave Dr. Kazmierski glowing reviews) I scheduled a consultation. Immediately, I was impressed by the office and by Dr. K. He took time with us, articulated everything so well, and was extremely professional. I was impressed because he told us to hold off...to wait until my son was older and in the perfect window of age/growth to address the issues. Fast forward to today: My son is 14, and just had his braces removed this week. The alignment of his bite is perfect. His smile is beautiful! (I may be a biased mom.) I had a painful & disastrous experience with Dr. Karen Miller. I visited her for a lost crown for…read moreTooth #18 due to chewing gum. Without clear a reason during the very first visit, she ground that tooth & the opposing healthy Tooth #15. No temporary crown was provided for Tooth #18. While waiting for the permanent crown, Tooth #18 became infected. Finally a new crown was placed, only to find it repeatedly fell off. She bonded it, which wasn't fully seated. To fit the misaligned crown, she numbed me & extensively ground down Tooth #15. Tooth #18 later needed a root canal, retreatment, & was ultimately extracted. Now I need an implant. Tooth #15 also requires a root canal, post, & crown due to the damage. I've endured physical pain, emotional stress, financial burden & permanent dental injuries. I'm sharing this so others can avoid this experience. (Note: I have to give one star because the system does not allow submitting a review without a rating.)

We have both had excellent experiences. The progress that my child has made during treatment so far surprised and impressed our new dentist, who said that Dr. Paterno does amazing work. Dr. Paterno pays attention to detail and takes care to not move on to the next step until things are exactly where they should be. She explains all of the steps of the process thoroughly and clearly.
