So then I went in person with the contract and she told me to leave the office. She told me the contract was just for dental cleanings which is not true since the VA handles the cleanings.

She made me feel very at ease. And the best part is that every chair has its own TV right in front of it. Perfect for people who would rather take their minds off of what is going on in their mouths. The open floor plan seems a little weird at first (the dental chairs are separated by furniture) but it soon became comfortable. The dentist went over my x-rays with me and he didn't even annoy me with the "your brushing your teeth too hard" lecture. Yup, I've heard that before and I appreciate the love! She told me that three patients were still ahead of me! WTF?!! She softly apologized to me and said other patients had complained of the same thing (waiting too long / being taken LATE). So why don't you change your protocol or scheduling of appointments?! Now they will be losing myself and my two children as patients!!! THREE PATIENTS GONE and I bet more will follow suit! The girl at the front desk, offered me April 24th as a reschedule. Uhh NO! Seriously?!! FIT ME IN FOR YOUR ERROR!!! Front the doctor to the staff; just awesome! I was referred to an oral surgeon by my dentist years ago but I was so afraid of the unknown that I never went so the condition with my wisdom teeth worsened and it led to decay in other teeth as well. I saw Dr. Pastiu on television one early morning and for some reason I was compelled to call for a free consultation. He told me what I already knew which is that I needed extractions and he also recommended an implant doe a tooth that he could not save. I was near tears at the thought of going through the pain of having 6 extractions and an implant. To make a long story short...the doctor cleared the schedule for the entire day so that I would be the only patient. Dr. Pastiu's demeanor is very calm and mild which in turn calmed me. I arrived at 9am and was out in a couple of hours!! I didn't feel any pain during or after the procedure. I am still amazed at the fact that I had very little swelling and NO PAIN AT ALL!!! Also, the doctor is a clean freak and makes certain that everything is perfect. To top it off the doctor was so concerned of my well -being, that he made sure that his staff provided me with his cell phone number so that I could call or text if I experienced any pain or ud Amy questions about anything.
