Very interesting and eclectic store selling a bunch of trinkets, collectibles, clothing, rare items and an assortment of other things. Cool place to visit also in OKC's Plaza District too. Check it out!

Folk Life is the absolute best small shop for all traditional items for Hispanic/Mexican American items. I had no idea this shop existed until I was walking around with a friend and came across it. Every time I've gone since, I've been greeted with the absolute best workers there! Not only are they beyond kind of genuine, but so patient in helping with purchases and making sure each item bought it wrapped up as safely as can be. We purchased two large planter pots for my mother for Christmas and she was absolutely floored with how beautiful they were. I will most definitely be back many many more times!

Scored this cute purse for my neice's Bday gift. Awesome store for gifts here!

This place is always a great choice. I've bought many gifts for people here and the items are intensely unique. They have clothes and other items from over 20 countries around the world. Staff are always friendly. Parking is super easy when the plaza isn't busy can be a challenge when it's party time in the area

We've shopped here twice and I love the eccentric things that can be found here. Everything from Talavera pottery (at reasonable prices) to interesting jewelry to tiles. Great little store in the Plaza district.

However, we got here around 1:30 and were greeted right away. When we first got there, there were 2 associates working at the time. They were both nice and very attentive. They were relatively busy but they both handled it with patience, grace and kindness. About halfway thru our visit, the young man who worked there left (I'm assuming his shift was over) so it was just the girl left, her name was Deb. She continued to help everyone in the store and never left anyone unaddressed. She was AMAZING! She never seemed overwhelmed but still made sure everyone had everything they needed. She was SO good with my daughter, it was very refreshing to see a business ran so wonderfully. She even took some pictures of us afterwards and was so sweet! The stock they had to choose from was impressive, they had TONS of different styles, designs, themes, etc. They provided the paint, fun stencils, water to wash your brushes off with, sponges to clean your item off beforehand, aprons (even small aprons for my daughter), TONS of different brushes in different sizes, as well as tons of other things to make our experience enjoyable. Like any place of business, there were some pieces that were pretty pricey, but they also had items that were on sale so if you wanted to stay budget friendly, you totally could. We asked about the studio fee upfront and any other possible costs and they explained it all very well. I spent under $25 for both my daughter and myself, including tip. We were there for over 2 hours and I'm already looking forward to the next time we get to go. It was the best time we've had in a while, especially being able to stay inside away from the Oklahoma heat.

As we searched, this place seemed perfect and in all honesty it was! We were greeted right away and given some instructions on where we could find certain things to paint. There's mugs, piggy banks, plates, bowls, seasonal items, vases, different animals of all sizes and $5 mugs which is a nice money saver. We were impressed by the selection and every piece is a different price that is on the bottom of the item. This establishment is clean and very organized. We spent 2 1/2 hours at Color Me Mine and we were provided with aprons, unlimited paint, paper towels, sponges, water cups, a ton of different brushes and even paint bottles that have a tip for writing on items. During our time there, the associate, Deb, was absolutely incredible! She was attentive and answered all of our questions. She was really good with the kids as well which we always appreciate! She explained that the pieces will have to be picked up later so the finishing gloss can be applied so I can't wait to see our finished results! Deb was happy to recommend near by restaurants as well when we asked. Of course the kids finished before us adults however the facility allows snacks and drinks so they were able to have their snacks. The pricing can vary so I suggest asking up front about the studio fee. For myself and my seven year old we left spending less than $50 including tip. For 2 1/2 hours of fun, that's worth it!

And did I mention the beautiful wrapping paper? Intricate designs and so beautiful, you'll want to frame it. There is also a unique selection of greeting cards. Of course, I found SEVERAL things I "need" - including a bundle of fine point brush tip markers from Le Pen (yes, I had to get every color), checklist sticky notes, washi tape, a really cool mini-planner, and wayyyy more. And honestly, I could have bought way more. They had notebooks in every size, shape, and color; all things fountain pens; greeting cards galore; several wall calendars; local postcards...omg, let's face it, I could have blown my entire Christmas budget if I really wanted to! My only regret is that I don't live locally so I can't partake in their pen of the month club or attend one of their super cool classes. If I had the time and energy to open a Chirps & Cheers 2 around these parts, I totally would!
