I found Derek thanks to my fellow Yelpers. It was actually quit a challenge considering the fact that there was a lot of options to sort thru. But in the end, I decided to go w someone without any negative reviews figuring that would be my best bet. So I called and got a lot of useful information from Derek without him even offering me any service. Honestly with all the information he provided I felt like I can actually do it myself. But due to the fact that I'm actually doing this for my aunt, I decided not to take any chances and let an honest professional do it is probably much better then me doing it lol. Plus the price he quoted was more then reasonable so here we go. After going through all the information I needed, he asked me to email him the info I had along with my number and he will call me back. That my friend was on Friday. By Monday when he still hasn't called, I thought maybe he didn't receive my email. So I called and he was in a meeting but the receptionist confirmed that he did receive my email and he will call me back after his meeting. It is now Tuesday and he still has not yet returned my call. I'm not sure if my case is just not attractive enough for attention or maybe it's just too much work but how unprofessional. Seriously now i wished he would of just turned down my case so I could find someone else that's capable. One extra star for the free well informed consultation but I'm so confused on why you don't call or email your potential customer back :( read more

I worked with Mr. Derek Folk which we happened to coincidentally have met in passing a few times elsewhere. Derek is a knowledgeable tax professional AND all around awesome guy. If I could give them negative stars I would. It took over 4 months to make an appointment then once we had the appointment they never actually filed the taxes. After 3 months of trying to get a hold of someone we had to take our taxes to somewhere else because we could not get anyone to call, or we mail us back.
