The prices a little higher than other thrifts and consignments I visit but the brands are typically better. I am always greeted as I enter and if I need anything I can ask. I stopped by Steele's today around 3:00 pm after trying to replace my brakes myself. I was able to…read morereplace the fronts, but the rear brakes ended up giving me a problem getting the rotor off. I used several techniques to remove it, but was uneasy being too aggressive as it's my primary transportation. Once I described my issue, we discussed what might be keeping the rotor from coming off which I had already researched and satisfied I did everything I knew how to. To my surprise, they were able to get my 2020 Grand Cherokee in that afternoon as it was pretty busy. I left believing that it would be next day before it would be completed. I appreciated the conversation we had about possible issues with the E-Brake which is beyond just the brake replacement and possible additional cost. I didn't care at that point as I had enough messing with it! I received a call around 4:45 pm that same day my Jeep was ready to pickup. Turned out the rotor just took more force to knock it loose than I was willing to apply. Not only did they complete the repair same day, it was much less than expected. I was very pleased with the service and job well done. Thanks Hometown!

I know if I bring my little 18 lb terrier that will be the Sunday they kick dogs out though. Just make a decision and be open about it. I would pay $2 to get her in. She loves walking around. She doesn't bark, jump on others, go to the bathroom, etc. she just loves watching the people. It's a nice event for small well behaved dogs, so why not let her in?

Like all shows, this one has seen a definite decline. I arrived early, I highly recommend this to beat the crowds. Parking was easy and straightforward. The staff friendlty and helpful. Variety was decent with a mix of some antiques, collectibles and some junk. If you are looking for furniture or other larger items, skip this show. There is far less furniture now than in years past. Very heavy on glass and china. Thin on unique items. Prices variable but dealers seemed flexible.

They took my prescription and told me they'd contact me after running my insurance. I waited till the following Monday to call to be sure there were no problems and they informed me that they had faxed something to my doctor to confirm a diagnosis. I checked with my doctor and found they had not faxed anything at all. I called back to try and resolve the issue and they then informed me that they had no orders for me at all. They said the last time they had anything under my name was May of 2025. I had never even heard of this place until the day I walked in the door on Jan 2, 2026. All of the other negative reviews on this place sound spot on from my brief experience. Do yourself a favor. Don't let these people handle anything involving your health! Amazon will be delivering my nebulizer in the morning.
