Had "puncture proof" foam cores installed on my bike. # weeks later a single goat head flattened my tire. I asked to please reinspect to insure proper installation. No problem, but told me if they found the installation was correct, I'd get charged for all labor which includes and additional $30 fee for any ebike. When I pointed out that my choices were to trust them to tell me if it was done wrong (hahaha) or accept the fact that even if correctly installed, the product is crap, I got a shoulder shrug. They couldn't care less. I've been doing business with them since the 80's when Doug Eyer ran the Pullman store. These jack wagons don't give a wit about customer retention or standing by the products they sell. They obviously have all the business they want. Take yours elsewhere. Terrible shop. read more

The closest bike shops from my cabin are 100 miles away, so I try to do as many maintenance and repair items myself. Being offgrid and still building, I can;t just hookup Youtube for more advanced issues and had been fighting with an indexing problem for some time. I took a chance with Folletts, rolling in at 10 am, asking if it was possible to get same day service since I did live a ways away, BUT could make arrangements for my bike to be picked up at a later time. Not only were they able to take in the bike for same day service, but were finished well ahead of the estimated time. The store is well stocked for both mtn and road as well as a small skate shop, I'm eyeing a new set of hydraulic brakes and new front wheel for my XC ride since the prices are so competitive. It turns out the bike shop in CA I had purchased the bike from actually mounted the rear derailleur WRONG and Follets was stunned it wasn't trashed. They fixed the issue, answered a TON of questions I had about another bike Im installing a new fork on, and recommended a great lube/ cleaner for the clay we deal with on my local trails. Additionally, they rec'd an updated maintenance book since now I'm dealing with 15mm thru axles and hydraulic brakes, items not covered in my older guides. Total damage for all my goodies and the service was fifty bucks. a screaming deal. A total win-win. Got my ride back in shape, saved some bucks and have a reliable LBS to go to! read more

I took my 1990's Specialized mountain bike in for repair. After getting the rear wheel gear shifter replaced, new tires and a tune-up, I got it back with the handlebar clip for my Specialized Speedzone1 computer on the bike but the wheel sensor, wire and handlebar mount for my computer, which I had left on the bike, were all missing. I had kept the computer head for it that is in excellent working condition at home. Follet's cannot locate the missing pieces in their shop and it is impossible to find them anywhere else as I have spent a lot of time searching for them. Their solution is for me to buy a new computer system from them for $25. They lost the pieces and want me to spend money for an item I had before the $185 repair job. No thanks. read more

Flew here with my bicycle packed up on the plane for a family trip and needed it reassembled. Found this place online and had called ahead to put in the ticket because I needed it done on a specific day. These guys were super helpful and responsive, and even gave me a heads up that my chain looked worn and should probably be replaced. Would definitely stop here again if I'm ever in town. I stopped in this morning with a badly broken bicycle tire. I was hoping to get my tire repaired so I could get a ride in sometime this weekend while I'm in town visiting but didn't have my hopes up. The guys were busy but the gentleman who helped me fixed it immediately and I was up and running in about 15 minutes. I purchased a bike from Follett's 10 years ago. I have been a loyal customer, with repairs, tuneups, new tires, equipment. Well, when my bike was stolen, then later found in a pawn shop, I found that the serial number on my Owners Manuel and the number on the bike were off by 1 number ( difference between a 3 and an 8). My research found that Follett's is who wrote the wrong S.N on the book, not Specialized). Follett's was unwilling to work with me on replacing my bike ( If the number would have matched, the pawn show would have given me my bike). Follett's kept asking me for my receipt, even though they knew I bought my bike there as well as 10 years of exclusive business. And they added the excuse that their computers had crashed and they lost all that information...Hard records only went back 9 years. I wrote the owner a letter asking for them to make this write, but they have not responded. Very disappointed in this business, that when push comes to shove, they don't take responsibility. read more
