Being offgrid and still building, I can;t just hookup Youtube for more advanced issues and had been fighting with an indexing problem for some time. I took a chance with Folletts, rolling in at 10 am, asking if it was possible to get same day service since I did live a ways away, BUT could make arrangements for my bike to be picked up at a later time. Not only were they able to take in the bike for same day service, but were finished well ahead of the estimated time. The store is well stocked for both mtn and road as well as a small skate shop, I'm eyeing a new set of hydraulic brakes and new front wheel for my XC ride since the prices are so competitive. It turns out the bike shop in CA I had purchased the bike from actually mounted the rear derailleur WRONG and Follets was stunned it wasn't trashed. They fixed the issue, answered a TON of questions I had about another bike Im installing a new fork on, and recommended a great lube/ cleaner for the clay we deal with on my local trails. Additionally, they rec'd an updated maintenance book since now I'm dealing with 15mm thru axles and hydraulic brakes, items not covered in my older guides. Total damage for all my goodies and the service was fifty bucks. a screaming deal. A total win-win. Got my ride back in shape, saved some bucks and have a reliable LBS to go to!

The personal equipment, as well as the equipment supporting the entire tour, was of exceptional design, quality and maintenance. Meals cooked by the guides were creative, nutritious, and plentiful for hungry paddlers. The guides were extremely knowledgeable about the entire length of the river, which was greater than 100 miles. They know how to attack each obstacle to provide a high level of adventure while doing it safely. All of the staff were well educated and friendly. They all had an amazing general knowledge of botany, zoology, geography, and natural history. If an individual guide could not answer your question, they were quick to research it in their extensive library or consult other guides. This trip was a reunion for me in 17 of my West Point classmates. The guides did an amazing job of making it entertaining, enjoyable and memorable.

The food was great, the views amazing, the cellphone-free environment much appreciated. The best part? The company. The oars staff were friendly, highly-capable, and were the most entertaining part of the trip. I've never talked so much my whole life, but these guys were a hoot. We saw a few people get drunk, beligerant, and not wearing PFDs across the river one day. Some of the other river guide companies do not operate a tight ship. I'm so glad we went with OARS because my stress level was zero other than the rapids. The 5-day down the Snake River was perfect as you really get into the groove of rafting that 3rd day. I just wish I could have stayed on the river longer!

He was an absolutely fantastic guide with a tremendous amount of patience. Though my skills were obviously rusty (to say the least) and he corrected many of the common mistakes one would expect after such a long lapse of time. The shop and all staff that I met were fantastic and I plan on many further trips with SB once my permanent relocation to the area is completed. I would highly recommend Silver Bow to anyone interested in fishing the WA ID area.

The fly fishing I do is rivers, not lakes, so didn't know what I needed or where to start. I talked with a very nice man named Bo. He was super helpful, explained what I needed to bring, the weight of the rod, the sinking weight of the line & the technique for sinking flies in big lakes. I ask for some flies and he mailed me a very nice box filled with wet flies & some sinking leaders. So.... went fishing & OMG!!!! you would not believe the fish we caught using the flies Bo sent us. Wowza!! If I am ever in Spokane I will make sure to stop by Silver Bow Fly Shop.

From the initial phone call to the last minutes of our trip, we had a 5 star experience. Our guides Tom, Liz, Mike, and Jake were amazing. My children loved Liz and she was exceptional with all the kids on the trip. All of our guides were 100% friendly, helpful, experienced, and stressed safety throughout the trip. The lodges we stayed in were historic, beautiful, and comfortable. Its not Four seasons but its fantastic compared to tent camping. The food was delicious and much better than I was expecting. We had some dietary restriction, and the team was very helpful and accommodating. Our entire family loved the entire trip, even my wife who is not the outdoorsy type. I would not hesitate to book another trip in the future with ROW. Thank you again to Tom, Liz, Mike, and Jake for making this an incredible family adventure.
