After 3 months I gave him multiple.phone calls and he mentioned it would only take a few more weeks. 1 year later I check the website for the phone number I see he has permanetley closed. Despite…read moreseveral assurances the work would be completed (over 1.5 yrs late) I stopped by his shop a few weeks ago to find it closed and being remodeled by building owner. Apparently no one knows how to contact Cecil White at this point. it seems several customers have had their deposits and trophies essentially stolen. Very odd as Cecil had been reliable and did nice work over many years.

I had a blue goose mounted to match the snow they had mounted years before and the bird was in the wrong position and was roughed up they met me in the middle of the issue and I am grateful for that. things might have changed but that was my dog's last retreave. all of my shoulder mounts are from them and I will continue to use them because - good customer service and work on mammals - they made up for their paperwork issue and have not let me down since. I would have posed photos but we lost most of our mounts in a fire about a year ago. I wanted to post this to raise their rating here. They deserve more recognition because they do great work and if something is not right they make it right.

Pretty disappointed in the wood duck mount I picked up today. Something as simple as tucking around…read morethe eyes to hide the epoxy can have a huge impact on the look of the duck. Now I'm stuck with a duck with really crusty looking eyes, quality of work is definitely not worth the price charged. Not really a way to fix it now either.
