Duck was perfectly medium rare and tender. Partner had beef tenderloin also medium rare and declared it perfect. He's a picky beef eater so this was a rare compliment. Second night had a seared scallop appetizer, supreme chicken and sticky toffee pudding. Partner had a beef tenderloin pasta with brocollini and blue cheese. Again everything was perfectly prepared. Scallop was not overcooked. Chicken was moist and partners beef was also tender. Both nights I was impressed with the chef's attention to the vegetables which were plentiful and crisp tender. Sauces were balanced and not overly seasoned. Food came out hot despite full restaurant. Service was prompt and attentive. Definitely the most 'fine' dining atmosphere that I saw and experienced in Revelstoke. Will be back next year!

The saving grace was the yam fries which I upgraded for 1/2 Caesar salad and 1/2 yam fries at $3 more. Those were good. Very small portion of the Caesar salad though. My travel partner didn't like the fried chicken burger at all. The chicken was hard and dry. The server gave extra chipotle Mayo sauce but it didn't help much. Popeyes chicken burger was way better. It was lightly sprinkled with gram crust. This was a great idea, no thick crust ruining the cheesecake to crust ratio. Then they topped it off with fresh blueberries and a blueberry sauce.
