The girls who answer the phone (when I could actually get someone to answer) were completely rude and unfriendly. If it weren't for the referral, I would have canceled (or not scheduled at all). Anyways, when arriving for my appointment I was greeted with so much attitude, I walked out. NEVER to return again. Funny thing is, I had lunch with a friend today, and after telling her my experience, she said she had a similar story with the same office staff. PHEW--now, I know it's not just me. Her first words without even an introduction to whom she was "What are you doing here? You belong in geriatrics! Then she told me that Dr Westhusing didn't know what he was doing. She changed my thyroid med from 100 mg to 112 mg and sent it to pharmacy. By the time I got home there was a message on my machine that she meant to change it to 88mg. It was an oops. I have been on a pain regime for years that Dr W got me balanced out to. I only took the drugs when over the counter and/or heat did not do the trick, so now I am trying to get it filled again and instead she is trying to get me on OTC Lidocaine instead. I ask for PT in water at Healthplex and she refers me to Oasis Behavioral Health. I am at her office for an appt and in exam room for over an hour before she comes in. No excuse, no I'm sorry. The only thing I can say positive about her is Fantasy, her MA is fantastic.....

I'm always able to get my family in on the same day if they are open. The doctors always spend a good amount of time with us and I always leave feeling my questions were answered. They are also not apprehensive to send you to specialty clinics which is very refreshing. The staff is always very friendly and the facility is always extremely clean which is important at a doctors office. I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone looking for a family clinic.

Dr ponder is incredibly awkward and gives off weird energy. I didn't use him as my provider but I…read moredid get a vaginal ultrasound from him and he actually hurt me while doing it. And again it is painfully awkward. I used one of the midwife's here and she was younger than me. I was 27. The midwife cut my baby's umbilical cord unnecessarily RIGHT after she was born. Literally like 5 seconds after for absolutely no reason. She took a breath right after birth. I was pressured to get an iud after birth. I declined. The midwife clearly had hardly any experience and seemed extremely stressed my entire birth even though it was a non eventful birth. I will not go back to this office for anything again.

I love our primary PA ... Sydney Phipps, but the referral department is awful. They get the orders…read moremixed up and send referrals to the wrong places and even told me that the local sleep labs didn't do them for children. I had to call the sleep labs in town to confirm and every single one said they do sleep studies on children. So I sent the referral department a list and they didn't respond other than to send a referral to one of the labs on the list. I shouldn't have to do their job...the referral department is so bad, it's made me consider finding a new primary.
