the absolute best experience! I was called back immediately n taken to pre-op for my IV, I was so nervous I think this next surgery I'm having I'm gonna ask for something to kinda relax me instead of going straight to the anesthesia cuz when they wheeled me into that room my anxiety was thru the roof..but next thing I know I'm awake 2hrs later n ready to go home! I also just did my 3rd pre-op appt. there n it was a same day appointment within 2hrs of my appointment with dr Steven's they had me in there! the nurses are so sweet n the front office staff as well.. I stopped at the receptionist on my way out n told her I needed to pay my bill from my last surger n she asked me how much n I said all of it cuz I got a letter saying it could go to collections n she looked it up n was so discreet discussing my bill with me cuz we were in an open area with people all around. love love love the doc (dr Stevens)n his staff n everything about this place as well! read more

Unfortunately at this time I have to report noncompliance with the government's service dog regulations per ADA. They stated that their 'company policy' does not allow service animals for PTSD which is in direct opposition of the way the law is written. In addition to being confronted at my therapy appointment, I was called later for a lecture and issue was taken over frivolous matters - things that have never been an issue in 15+ years with my EXTREMELY well-behaved service dog. My first visit to TCO and I chose Dr. Faustin Stevens to carve on my double hammered toe. Three things I have decided are paramount in a dr. who I will let carve on me, he's got to know what he's doing. He also needs a discernible sense of humor and he must explain things I need to know in plain American English. 5 Stars for Dr. Stevens!! I received very thorough care and physical therapy helped with my shoulders in making them stronger to avoid surgery

Shoulder surgery went great. The first night back home, I was gasping for air. My O2 was hovering around 82-83%, and even went down to 78%. Called TCO answering service and was told I would get a call back. Because I didn't get a call back, I called my doctor's answering service. Still waiting for the call back from TCO. I then called my naturopath's answering service. In the meantime my doctor called back, and I told him I was expecting a call back from TCO. My naturopath called back and told me if I didn't get relief to go to the hospital. Both my doctor and naturopath called back, but no one called me back from my original surgeon's phone exchange. What's with that? I switched locations to have an upcoming foot surgery--all because of the lack of communication (or lack of care) from TCO, where I had my shoulder surgery. read more

I have always had excellent care here, for shoulders hips, and knees. I only wait between 10 and 15 minutes. All of the doctors and PA's are well-informed and professional. I previously had surgery in Yakima for my shoulder, and DR Fitzgerald fixed their mistakes. Don't hesitate, this is where you need to be. read more

Per usual, expected to get to the office 15 min early and made to wait over 30min pay my appointment time. While the care here is extremely good, it's hard to get over the fact that they waste my time and charge so much for theirs. The doctors and staff at both Richland and Kennewick locations couldn't be more helpful, organized and caring. After having a neurostimulator implant for pain management, a hip replacement, a shoulder replacement and another coming up shortly, they have been the best. Doctor Shoham tried many least invasive options prior for pain management none of which helped. The last resort, the neurostimulator implant, has been a godsend. Doctors Shoham, Sahota and Merrell and staff are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly and personable. We could not be more pleased with TCO and staff. Highly recommended. read more

Do not go to Tri-City Orthopedics. When I went for pain management, I was not helped. I had to figure out all the questions to ask and delve into. I would have thought pain management people would have some ideas based on data and mri results to help people. I then obtained physical therapy, again, no plan. They wanted to know what I wanted to do. I did not know since it is not my specialty. I also went to a surgeon. He ended up not showing up. They whole organization is playing on people's pain. 7 years ago, TCO had customer service and cared. Dr. Perry was great. They have seemingly let big money control how they treat people. I had shoulder surgery with Dr. Fitzgerald February 5, 2020. I have only wonderful things to say about this doctor and his staff! I felt safe from the very beginning, with Dr. Fitzgerald sitting down with me to explain my MRI pictures, to the surgery staff treating me gently and thoroughly explaining every step of what to expect. My follow up appointments with Julie, Dr. Fitzgerald's assistant, were also positive. Anytime I've called with questions someone calls me back the same day with answers. I really appreciate that! Now I am in physical therapy. They have their own physical therapy department. I have been seeing Jake. He is extremely knowledgeable! He is gentle when he's stretching me. I have felt completely safe from the beginning to the end of this process! If you need shoulder surgery this is the team I would recommend! They are at the Kennewick office. read more

This clinic, where they have another office in Kennewick, is among the worst Physical therapy places in the Tri-City area. Scott Faringer , who is a supposed CEO , seems to feel that by denying patient care because he lies, is an okay thing to do. Well it's not right and it is far from ethical. 13 minutes late on arrival and I got put on the back burner and his reception person, was anything but decent. Verbally insulting, and mocking of a new patient is not the smartest thing in the world to be doing, to me, or anyone else. Do yourself a favor and do not go to this clinic for even as much as an Ace wrap. If I could give a negative review?...it would be here. By the way, public sidewalks are open areas and they cant stop a sign from being paraded around on the side walk. They don't own it. WE do. read more

I have been trying to get to see a doctor for months now for my back. I made a appointment and saw the doctor's assistant which is fine. (you do not get to see a doctor until all your tests are finished) while I was there the gal gave me a prescription for Diasipan to relax me for a MRI I was scheduled for. While I sat there when the assistant wrote me the prescription I did not realize she put someone else's name on the prescription. when I got home I was upset over this (I had sat in front of her and she did not even look at my chart to write my name right) this is one of many mishaps I have encountered waiting to see this doctor. They always take at least 2 weeks to call you back. They never let you know whats going on, you find out when someone calls you back to schedule another test. I went to Trios to have a MRI and called 1 week after to schedule to get my results, called 2 weeks after (remember you can only leave a message and they never call you back right away) finally the asst. called and instructed me if I wanted my results I had to go get them!. I asked her if she wrote the order why did she not order a copy of the results and she said it was not her job to do that? WTF?? How stupid is that. I have had enough of this and deserve to be treated better. I have dealt with the Kennewick office and never had any problems just with this Richland office. I am not going back its been 3 months and I still have not seen any doctor. read more

The worst Dr care I have ever experienced. I was in an automobile accident two years ago. 6 months under Dr. Perry's care he could not figure out what was wrong with my wrist. In August we moved to Denver. I went to one Dr & he knew right away that I had a torn TFCC. I had surgery & recovered well. Then I continued to have issues with my elbow & fingers on the same arm had a second surgery. Ulnar nerve transposition & guyons canal in my palm. Recovered well. 1 year later my elbow is giving me issues. We moved back to tri cities from Denver. I ask to be seen by Dr Peterson since Dr Perry didn't work for me the first time. Had all my records sent over. Took them 5 weeks to review my records from denver. When they did finally call they said what do you need to be seen for on your wrist? I need to be seen for my elbow. Well we only got info for your wrist. Did you not get my records for both surgeies? Yes we Got info for your two wrist surgeries. How did you know I had two surgeries? One was on the wrist the other was on my elbow & palm. Well we have info regarding your wrist & we just need to know what to see you for. I just told you I need to be seen for my elbow. & I have little bump in my wrist which is no big deal. Well we can only see you for One body part at a time. Are you kidding me? You want me to drag my 3 month old to 2 appts ? Well we only have enough time for one body part at a time. This is absurd. Not only did you take 5 weeks to call me for an appt. But now you are telling me that I have to come in twice. Put yourself in my shoes & drag a 3 month old to 2 appts. I'm sorry this is just policy. No it's not, you guys just want more money from two appts. & you could care less about me as a patient & my needs. Would you like to make an appt? At this point I think I'd be a fool to even step foot back in your practice. I will fly back to Denver to see my Dr. You guys are a joke. Giving this practice one star is being nice. I would never recommend them to anyone. They couldn't figure out my wrist issues in the beginning. & gave me the run around when it came to making an appt. & required me to come in twice for the same arm with the same issue. Not the best place to go in the Tri Cities. Sad to say since its a nice facility. The entire staff is sub-par. The PA I saw J Webb. He was very arrogant, cocky and had a horrible bed side manner. Actually inflicted pain while back for a second visit to prove a point? I guess? knee injury and were going to yank and twist at the second visit after most of the swelling has gone down? Not the smartest guy! Went elsewhere. No surgery, correct diagnosis and therapy, Two months later built huge shop at home with no discomfort. Tri-Cities Orthopedic said surgery and 8 months recovery? This was the worst medical experience I have ever had in my life. I fell on the ice a week & half before Christmas and went to emergency room twice with serious pain in my low back. It took till 3 weeks for Tri City Ortho to call & get me in even though the MRI from Trios ER stated possible fracture.The P. A. saw me and the MRI, but said we have to wait for 4 days before Dr. Shoham would even bother to read the MRI and gave me an RX for Oxy, knowing I was in pain After a second MRI confirmed that I indeed had a fracture, they got me in one day later and gave me lots of pain medication (Oxy and HydroCodeine) because of the severe pain. I now have a brace and a referral with dr.'s orders to not do any excessive exercise. I told him I live in a 3rd story apt. with 2 flights of 18 stairs and can't get up there without excruciating pain. Dr. Shoham refused to give me a letter to help me get out of my lease so that I could move to a ground floor apartment. I called and told the nurse Kayla again that I have 2 flights of stairs and can't go up and down without serious pain, please ask him for the letter. Dr. Shoham told me to avoid stairs but then was unwilling to write a letter so I could change to a ground floor apartment. Kayla said that Dr. Shoham says that I can live in my third story apartment and should do whatever feels comfortable." I do not have a place to live that I can get to without pain and they don't care. Kayla was rude and very unconcerned, and both the P. A. Tyler and Dr. Shoham handled my medical issue with the least amount of compassion I have ever seen in a medical staff. I will never go back and will tell all of my family and friends the same. So here's my story Wife hurt her knee over weekend went to er and they took X-ray negative the er doc suggested we see a ortho dr seems pretty simple this is were it gets weird.At 8 am I called tri city ortho to set appointment.I explained we had premera and possibly a workers comp claim they said no problem just need to get case verification number call me right back no phone call called them back no verification.money ,money money people were very rude wife in pain told me to drive back 200 miles to er for suggestion.asked if doctor can discriminate they said yes he can pick and choose kinda like apples in the supermarket.Told me they only have 1 dr that handles workers comp mind you we also have premera but they weren't interested cause it sounds like they get more money for workers comp.Every time Icalled in desperation to help my wife all I smelled was the greed in their voice no care at all about helping her .terrible terrible experience?finally at end of day I get a voice mail stating that they are not accepting workers comp patients at this time.seems weird since I am now at northwest ortho who gladly took her as a patient I feel like a human again.my advice is go there they make you feel Like a person read more

I had gone to Tri-Cities Orthopedics for severe neck pain and ended up having a radio frequency cervical ablasion - by Dr. Shoham. The recovery was very, very painful and seemed to be only be able to work about every other day. I had called the doctor's office for an appointment and a doctors note for work - that he will write me a note for one day but will not write anymore notes for me. It was the most painful recovery (at least 6 weeks now) and I get no help or support from the doctor. I had called the office to let them know 'how much pain I was in' 24/7 and I had asked for a prescription of Gabapentin (for nerve pain) to be told by his office he will not prescribe it. I was told by other physicians he should have prescribed me that, along with pain meds - nope, nada. The worse patient care I have EVER had - I will never return for the same procedure, nor Any other concern regarding Orthopedics. I have recommended to all of my friends, as well as my Church family, NOT to go to that facility, ever. read more
