They never actually checked if she had fleas! The "doctor" said it must be that she's allergic to her food. "Here's a sample of hypoallergenic food". I gave my cat the "special" food. Then after a while of no progress, I decided to comb her. She had flea excrement! These people would rather sell you the most expensive option than find out what's really wrong with your pet! BTW, I'm sure that my cat got the fleas from this establishment. All her life, she's been an indoor cat only! Hadn't had fleas in many, many years and then suddenly got fleas two days later after making a visit to them?! The last time my cat had a visit with them, she came back trembling! I've never seen her like that after a vet visit! No, I will not be back for the prescription cat food! Cuz I know you people are fake! DO NOT GO TO BELVUE!! Your pet is not in good hands. Go some where else!

Here we go...this post is regarding The Montgomery Animal Hotel highly recommended to me (of which…read moreI hold none of you responsible) Here are the facts: Dropped my dogs off on December 26th to stay until today January 3rd. Brought their dog beds in and instructed the front desk clerk to elevate the beds on the cot we were shown at our initial consultation at Montgomery Animal Hospital + Hotel . I phoned Montgomery Animal Hospital + Hotel all weekend as we were told we could call anytime and there was no one to answer a call for the entire weekend so I sent a text through their platform which has still never been answered. They were to use their dry food and ours only if they didn't eat the food. On Monday, I called asked Vanessa (administrator and one heck of a salesperson) how they were doing with eating and she said fine. We returned with a bag of empty dry food. They were only to use as backup. On Monday we received pictures of 2 other dogs and when I said, very cute, but those are not my dogs, we'd love to see a pic of our dogs, we got pics of our dogs, beds on the floor (and this is going somewhere). We came through Pineville yesterday right before closing time and I called 2 hours prior on our journey to see if we could early pick up our dogs. We arrived to the Pet Hotel at 5:26 and paid and waited for our dogs. Approximately 10 minutes later the front door opened and I picked up the first dog and gasped and half gagged because they were absolutely soaked with urine. I had to put the leash back on and hand it to my husband to grab their beds from the 2 techs. Each bed was saturated with urine and I had to carry them with two fingers to the truck bed. We had to sacrifice our own clothes because of the urine saturated dogs and hold them so they wouldn't soil the back seats. My husband and I sat for a few minutes examining the dogs and let me tell you when we felt and smelled their wet feet and bellies and I smelled my hands from holding them, my husband had to stop me from going back into the clinic. My husband is a 6'5 former college basketball player and I watched him weep at the sight of our dogs. As for me, I'm on fire with anger at the neglect of our pups, and Hell Hath no fury like a Virgo Mama Bear scorned. We got a call 5 minutes after we left from the hospital because the girl at the front desk saw what happened and was concerned. We were told we'd be called by the administrator today. I waited til noon thinking, surely this is priority for them but no call and so I called Dr. Morgan. She returned my call. I in a very calm manner proceeded to ask her what happened. She said she was informed we were not happy with the way the dogs essentially were presented at pickup. Then asked me to tell her what happened. I did. She said it's taking me a minute to wrap my head around this because I've never heard of this in 15 years. She told me she did not think that as upset as I was that she could provide me with a resolution and asked what I expected from the call. I stated honesty and integrity as in your oath. And I stated that I felt my dogs' health was neglected and endangered as was also in her oath. She said by envoking her oath she had to end the call and I needed to contact an attorney. No wonder they have to schedule the initial consultations in advance, no wonder they bathe the dogs for free after 3+ days of boarding. No wonder there is no access to the "luxury" facility unless prior scheduled. I am mortified at the way they were neglected and the way in which Doctor Morgan handled the situation. At no time did I ask nor was a refund offered or an apology from her. The lady at the desk who called after we left, apologized profusely. As my husband repeatedly told Maggie and Bruno last night, they will never have to go there again. Feel free to share to make positive change possible for our pups.

I figured out in time he was the vet. I had to bring up all the preventative things. His answers were short and impatient. Anyways we got shots. One thing I didn't like was him sticking a thing up my dogs butt without asking first. I get it. Things need to be done. But in talking with family I could have just collected a sample. Either way I think they should consent with the owner. The last straw was trying to get help with a simple issue. They did not resolve it for 17 days. Anyways yeah we have already switched vets

Which they knew exactly the one I needed since the week before make the appointment a week ahead and I show up almost 45 minutes early to the appointment. Which reception stated they went out to get the medicine they had none in stock in office mind u I went 45 mins earlier they didn't even call us into the office until almost an hour later. My dog from Kathy is 13 years old and the best furbaby that I could have ever dreamed of being a…read morepart of my family. Kathy has always been kind and even loves to see pictures of my baby as time went by. My fur baby was 9weeks old and potty trained to use the potty pad. I was impressed by Kathy being able to show me the parents, knew the weight he would be, and even the personality. My furbaby is SUPER smart and serves as my service dog. He signals when I am getting sick. Funny thing is he on signals other people and is ALWAYS right. They ended up listening to him 2 times and being checked into the hospital both times. So I am VERY grateful to Kathy for giving me my baby. Thank you Kathy from the bottom of my heart!!!

Like…read moreothers, I never received the promised AKC papers, and the whole situation always felt slightly off. My dog, who was supposed to stay toy poodle size, grew to 20 pounds at one point and faced a range of serious health issues, including diabetes and Cushing's disease. He had a tough, short life, and it breaks my heart to think of the struggles he faced. I miss and love him dearly, he was my son. While I'm relieved to hear her animals have since been seized, I strongly encourage others to adopt, not shop. Kathy is not someone I'd consider a trustworthy breeder.
