SCAM ALERT ‼Ronnie Fontenot - Fontenot's Diesel Enterprises LLC (Eunice, Louisiana) Do NOT trust Ronnie Fontenot or do business with Fontenot's Diesel Enterprises LLC. He has had my truck since November 30, 2022, and I still haven't gotten it back. In late 2022, I took my truck to Ronnie because my turbo had blown and sent metal into the engine. He told me I'd need a new motor and that if I paid $18,410 in cash up front, he could have the job done within a month -- by December 2022. That never happened. For months, every time I checked in, he gave me a different excuse: the engine was on backorder, he had someone rebuilding an engine and was gonna make it right, etc. On June 9, 2023, I went to the shop myself. I noticed the items I had left in my center console were missing. That was my first red flag.He said people broke into several vehicles at his shop but i would bet anything he was the one who broke into them. I asked Ronnie to call the guy who was supposedly rebuilding the motor. Right then, his girlfriend called him -- I could hear her talking clearly. After hanging up with her, he started a "fake" call with the rebuilder. It was obvious no one was on the other end. He said, "When he calls me back, we'll do a three-way call." I took the guy's name Ronnie kept saying while on the fake phone call and looked him up on Facebook, and found this guys shop right up the road from fontenots . I went there personally. The rebuilder told me he hadn't been paid a dime by Ronnie and that Ronnie told him he was still waiting on the payment from me -- which was a lie. I had already paid in full. While I was talking to this rebuilder, Ronnie called him and said, "This guy is bringing me the money Friday -- just tell him everything's good and the engine will run like new." Talking about me! I stayed quiet. The rebuilder agreed, but it was obvious Ronnie was lying. After this, I decided I was going to get my vehicle back. A few days later, I returned to Eunice with a friend and a trailer. I spoke to four deputies, explained everything, and was told that the judge had been trying to catch Ronnie for a while and was "looking forward to meeting us." and he is up stairs waiting but when we got upstairs , the judge wasn't even working that day. We walked back down stairs and one of the deputies said we just seen Ronnie heading out of town. My buddy and i went to Ronnie's shop and it was locked up and everyone was gone -- we suspect someone tipped him off. As in one of the deputies of Eunice La. He gets away with everything because the corrupt law enforcement what I gather from other people and the incident that happened to me. Eventually, Ronnie called me and tried to "make things right." He said I could deal directly with the rebuilder, and he'd install the motor. He gave the rebuilder a $5,000 deposit, and a Jasper engine was delivered on October 9, 2023. All Ronnie had to do was pay the balance and install the engine. He never did. Because of that, the rebuilder had to return the engine so he wouldn't be charged for it. At that point, I told Ronnie I was going to sue him. We argued over text, and he gave me his attorney's number before blocking me. My attorney contacted his, but Ronnie lied to his lawyer too -- saying the motor was on backorder, again. Then on April 29, 2024, Ronnie unblocked me and called to say the motor would be ready by May 23, 2024. I texted him on May 29 asking for an update, and he replied: "It was delayed by a week or so. I've been callin everyday but it's in transit to Ford dealer" I just found out my truck is at a Ford dealership in Crowley, LA. Ronnie brought it there -- and they completed all the work ordering and installing a new engine. Now, they won't release my truck to me because Ronnie owes them $25,000 that is between them two not me. I didn't even know my truck wasn't at his shop until the ford dealership found my registration in the glove box and called me! Ronnie fontenot is a liar, a scammer, and a criminal! The absolute worse experience. Having to file a claim because of money he owes us. On top of that, he couldn't even fix all the damage he did on the truck to begin with. He had to take it to other places to get repaired without even telling us and we took truck back without having all the work done. He's rude and a scam artist obviously. !!!!BEWARE: FONTENOT'S DIESEL IN EUNICE LOUISIANA!!!! On Monday, March 20th 2023, I brought my truck to Fontenot's Diesel Enterprise in Eunice Louisiana to have new Upgraded Injectors, Upgraded Blue Spring Kit, Upgraded Banjo Bolts, Upgraded Dummy & Stand pipe Orings replaced. A couple days later I get a call thinking it's them telling me my truck is ready..... No... They burned up my starter and needed an additional $489.39 to replace it. I get a call that Friday saying my truck is ready and to come get it but they wanted to leave early so they would leave it out front with the keys in it. I get there and theres no keys, so I have to call and wait for someone to come get them out the office. I start the truck and it sounds bad. I get told. "Yeah we didn't have time to drive it so it's probably got some air in it but it would clear up". Who works on a truck and doesn't test drive it...... These guys.... as I will prove later. I head up to a job in Maryland and a few months later it starts to have a lot of lag from a dead stop. I start lookiong to see what might me causing it and I find that they didn't install the Blue Spring Kit nor the Banjo Bolts (These parts are essential when installing larger Injectors to keep them from getting damaged). I can't see the internals, but if they didn't install those parts, then I'm pretty sure the Upgraded Dummy and Stand Pipe O-Rings didn't get changed either. I get ahold of Ronnie and he says he will make it right. I have to come home for 2 weeks I told him. I can drop it off but need it done in that time frame. He tells me not to worry that he would get it right. I drop the truck to his guys on Thursday, July 27th 2023. I proceed to get told that the mechanic that screwed my truck up hung himself in thier shop and had screwed up a lot of vehicles including leaving the bolts out of the coupler that holds the steering column rod to the steering box on a guys truck. Enough to kill him. The following Monday he contacts me and asks if I'm still bringing the truck..... I tell him I gave it to his guys last thursday. He tells me he is sorry, that he is out of the country and trying to get his guys lined up. I asssume they are fixing to start on it. Oh how wrong I was. Friday August 4th 2023 I call and they haven't even ordered the parts for it. They don't even know where to order the Upgraded Banjo Bolts from. Come on dude... You supposed to be a Perfomance Diesel Shop. I tell them where to order them from..... Fast Foward to Tuesday August 29th 2023. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE...... A few days later I get a call and I'm thinking... Finally... It's ready..... NOPE..... They are calling to tell me that Methheads have busted my window out and I need to come see what has been stolen and go tell the cops. I stop at O'Riellys to pick up something on the way and I told the worker there that Fontenot's had screwed some stuff up and was fixing it and without missing a beat he says "They didn't put all the parts in did they?" I just look at him in awe and he says "Yeah, they famous for that, I cant believe you brought your truck there".... FML....The truck is across the street at the glass shop when I go to inventory it and the guy at the glass shop tells me "I change about 4 windows a week from there. Don't bring your truck back to that place" On to Tuesday, September 19th 2023 I get a message that "It's next in line". Must be a damn long line as he is over a month overdue from it being fixed. I call on Thursday, September 29th 2023 and they tell me it's got a cracked Y-Pipe and..... and they can't find the Upgraded Banjo Bolts they ordered and think.... you can't make this up... They think their big Great Dane looking dog ate them.... FML! I don't hear anything until around Thursday, October 5th 2023. I told Ronnie he said it would be fixed in 2 weeks and here we are over 2 months later and nothing done and he say "Look, I know we have had it for a long time so I'm gonna get it done and I'm not going to charge you anything". Thursday October 12th 2023 I get a message..... "Truck is done... $1000"..... WTF??? I'm so done with this place I just want to pay it and get my truck back. The next day before I go to get it I asked him if he was sure it had no lag from takeoff. He tells me "It"ll spin the tires now". Oh what a lie. I get there and have to wait on the window tint guy to replace the tint on the window that was busted out. I go to leave and don't make it 200 feet and the topside of the Hot Pipe blows off. THIS PROVES THEY NEVER TEST DROVE IT!! I limp it back and they hook up and retighten the pipe. I leave again and about 200ft later the bottom side of the Hot Side Pipe blows off.. I limp it back again and they reconnect that end and tighten it up. While they are workingh on it I notice that the Air Filter Sensor is just laying on top of my battery and not installed. Fix that. I leave again and notice that there is no turbo pressure on the Boost Gauge... read more

Dude is a JOKE. My brothers truck has been at this hell hole for over 2 years now waiting for a new motor. He's blocked my brother, won't give him his money back or put the new motor in his truck that my brother has paid Ronnie for. If he couldn't do the job why say he could, just took the $ and ran with it (STOLE) . Stay TRUE is how we were raised & this place / this guy is far from it. $ is not yours if it's owed $ it's dept. Hit something on the road . Did damage underneath my car . They had to change my oil pan and transmission pan with seals . They came in on a Sunday and fixed my car . So grateful that they also do gas vehicles. Thank you all so much read more

They had my truck for 9 days. I had a stirring fluid leak. They changed the master brake cylinder which has nothing to do with the stirring fluid leak. Needless to say I still have a stirring fluid leak. On top of that, they are very unprofessional, don't return calls and look like homeless people. It's a rag shop. read more
