Buyer beware, 7/29/2026…read more I took my vehicle to Take 5 for nothing more than a routine oil change. Before the service, my vehicle had no warning lights and was driving perfectly. The moment I left the parking lot, my oil warning light came on. Seconds later, the EPC warning light came on, and my vehicle began hesitating and struggling to accelerate past approximately 35 mph. This created a serious safety concern. I immediately returned to the shop and explained what happened. The technician reset the warning lights and added more oil, but the problem was not fixed. As soon as I left again, both warning lights returned and my vehicle continued to hesitate while accelerating. A simple oil change should never result in warning lights and a vehicle that feels unsafe to drive. I am now faced with the inconvenience, stress, and potential expense of having my vehicle inspected after a service that should have been routine. I have reported this incident to Take 5 Corporate and expect a thorough investigation and resolution. I am sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision. I sincerely hope Take 5 takes responsibility if their service caused these issues

I had made an appointment for my tire rotation due to mileage as usual. I sat in the lobby for over an hour after checking in and giving them my keys. Then one of the employees comes to sit by me and ask if I was ready to buy new tires today. I told him no and would speak to my husband. He said he had discussed with the manager, and my warranty would not cover the new ones. He did agree that I had done a great job with coming in for my tire rotations. He kept pushing for new tires. Finally, he asked again if I was buying tires today, because they had some in stock and could put them on. When I told him again that I was not, and would speak to my husband, then he asked one of the employees to bring my car to the front. I had informed him more than once that I had another appointment I needed to get to. Then he finally proceeded to give me a handout with 3 estimates for 4 new tires as I had asked.Then I asked for my copy of the tire rotation that was completed (I always got one upon leaving with the mileage and the checks that were standard). He finally printed one out and then proceeded to tell me that they didn't do the tire rotation. They made me wait for about an hour and 20 minutes to let me know that they didn't do anything (no tire rotation--which is why I went and had scheduled), but try to get me to buy new tires, when my warranty was in place. These are very dishonest, underhanded, and pushy people. They didn't honor their own policy. I was flabbergasted at the lack of integrity and honesty at this place. I will never, ever buy tires or do any business with these people. I will also tell my family and friends, so they don't waste excess money and time with such dishonest people and company.
