We initially wanted to order service from Crystal Springs but found they had been bought out so we tried Primo Water. After 4 rescheduled days of our initial delivery and dealing with offshore customer support, I canceled service with them and went with Fontis. Great decision. The sign-up was easy and I spoke to people in their local office, not an offshore central call center which handles multiple companies. I like dealing with people who have a vested interest in keeping their customers happy. My first delivery was on time and the water quality was great. I don't yelp much anymore unless I think I can genuinely add to the canon, but I have to say this: It's been delightful dealing with Fontis over my first month of service. I was regrettably a customer of Crystal Springs for years until the straw broke the camel's back a while ago, and I'm trained, in ways, to expect every interaction with my water provider to be terrible and ineffective. Not so with Fontis! I called today and after a very short burst of hold music was connected to Danielle, who was delightful and clearly competent and helped me in under 5 minutes. Happy camper. But here's why I knew this review would have to be written: I'm being generous when I say my bill with Fontis is 2/3 what is was with the other guys. Honestly, it's closer to half. I am very disappointed in the servoce provided by Fontis. I set up this water delivery in February 2025. I quickly learned that the 5 gallon jugs they were providing were too heavy so they offered 3 gallion jugs instead. I was told that if I placed a 'standing order' for delivery, regardless of need, thst I was obligated to accept that standing order otherwise their drivers would simply replace my empties. Great, right? No. Seems that 3 gallon jugs on delivery trucks are rare so last delivery the driver replaced only 2 of my nine jugs. Was there an explanation? No, despite my VM asking them to call, did they offer to correct the issue? Yes, on their next scheduled delivery to my area (in a month). Not great. In the meantime I can replace their water which is a more economical solution but ever I were to adapt to buying this way I am still obligated until January to buy water from a company that will not meet my need. This company is very unorganized. They came twice in one month to my house without contacting me or anything exclaimed that I had bottles picked up that did not happen charged me for it when I offered to send my daily ring camera for the days that said they delivered , she was rude and hung up. I had five different drivers in the year we used them at our home. Please think twice before using them. Also they never gave me my additional services that I paid fore in thier promotion. Signed up online for one price only to have them reject the signed contract and double the price. The original contract was for $9.00 a bottle plus delivery fee whereas the new contract a $7.00 bottle return fee nearly doubling the price. The bait and switch is not a good practice, and the bottle return fee sounds like a recycling charge which should be consumers choice not mandated in a one year contract. read more

We have been customers for over a year. Their product is good but their customer service is not. When they delivered their water dispenser the agent left before explaining how to use it. Most importantly, they are. Very unreliable. They don't deliver our water when they say they are and several times they've deliver more 5 gallon jugs than we ordered. I needed a monthly water delivery and remembered that that was something that I could set up thru Costco. I got the information and was just about to call to sign up when something told me to check yelp. The company thru Costco had terrible reviews. I then used yelp to find Fontis and saw the positive reviews. I've been using them for about three months now and am very happy. Their communication and service is top notch. The prices are fair. Timely delivery, which is good. You get reminders too. Issue with billing at first and got total attitude when I called in to figure it out. Supposed to refund deposit for water jugs, and I almost didn't notice that they didn't send refund. Had to remind them almost a month later. Ended up getting refund for the deposit on water jugs. Always quick to respond to any problem with billing or delivery. I have been getting water delivered for years now and only have had problems with service twice,, once when we first started and all items weren't delivered and when they updated the system for delivery. The reminder call about your next delivery is the best thing they have. Only reason this review isn't 5 stars is the prices they charge. I don't mind paying a little extra for great service but other then the 5 gal bottles that are delivered, I do my shopping elsewhere. read more

We were customers of "the other guys" for over a decade before I finally couldn't take the shoddy service any longer. Now that we have changed providers, my experience with Fontis has been a breath of fresh of air -- or is that a "drink of cool water?" Everything was handled flawlessly from the moment I inquired about the service. Indeed, Fontis checks all the boxes: (1) Do they remind you when it's time to put the empty bottles out? CHECK! (2) Do they deliver the right amount of water and put the bottles in a logical place? CHECK! (3) Is the water priced right? CHECK! (4) Is billing easy and customer service responsive? CHECK! And most important, (5) Does the water taste great? DOUBLE-CHECK! It's also a plus, at least for me, that the company is small, locally owned, and that the water is locally sourced. We are a 501(c)(3) that needs a lot of water. I reached out to Fontis and let them know we are a rescue in need of bottled water. I asked why their water was more expensive than the others and you would have thought I called her baby ugly. 2 months and one order later, it was apparent we were going to need a lot more than was cost effective for a rescue. I called to end the service and they told me it would be a $100 to cancel. I asked them to reconsider. Nope, that is their "process". That is too bad. read more

We were only customers for 2 months before we cancelled services with them. Our delivery driver informed us that he had given our glass bottles to a previous customer, and had no more on his truck for us which meant having to wait until the next day for more water. I called their main office, and after going over my story about that happened, i was informed she already knew because the driver called to inform her of his mistake. She said a tag was already put in for a delivery to occur the next day. I told her that wasnt an option as we now didnt have water (this is during the Coronavirus!), and she either send a new glass bottle that day or could refund me the $5 dollars it would cost to buy water at the store. I was told no, and that i could get a free plastic jug that day. After i said that we dont drink from plastic, and i asked to speak to their manager. Mary, the manager, let me go over my story to her and then became rude. She accused me of yelling at her (i never raised my voice while recalling what happened to her), and informed us she wouldnt offer a refund for our troubles. No apology, just a get over it attitude. We have used the company for the past few years. Recently we began tasting chemicals in the water. I ignored it because I thought it was in my head but my family all started complaining. I reached out to the company. They informed me that there was a leak of chlorine at the bottling facility. I am very concerned that they did not recall the effected bottles nor inform the customers. They claim the levels of the chemical were safe, but chemicals are not what I pay for in my spring water. Other than this incident we have never had any issues. However, I believe in full transparency especially when it comes to something as important as having clean, safe, chemical free water. After years of increasingly awful service from a major provider, finally decided to switch and found Fontis. These guys are awesome!! They have people, actual customer service people that answer phones and emails! They have names! They send responses, thank you cards! The same person delivers your water to the same logical spot...not random locations (or in one case yes the empty house up for sale next door...no not kidding). I am EXTREMELY disappointed with my Fontis Water delivery!!! I receive water delivery for my home and business. I have not had a delivery at my business since Oct 25th. This is now Dec 13th and the rep just advised me that because our business hours are "unconventional", she will "try" to get water to my office next week. My office is open every Monday - Thursday and closed every Friday. I have advised them of our office hours on several occasions and each person has said, "I'm putting it in our system". She said their computer system keeps scheduling us for Friday deliveries and if we are not here, they will try again next month. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! If the human beings at Fontis Water can't program their delivery system, then looks like I need to find another delivery company. This is why I left Crystal Springs Water and now Fontis is doing the same thing. I should not have to go to the store to keep buying water for my staff and patients. Feeling VERY FRUSTRATED!!!
