I hate to say it, but this food court was quite a disappointment. I was looking for a place that specializes in chilaquiles, a vast variety of them, but found the Yelp page to be unaware of that location's closing. So, short on time, we opted to eat from one of the other food stalls, and found one with, you guessed it, a few varieties of chilaquiles. They did look wonderful on the plate, and were seemingly perfectly executed, complete with sunny egg and nicely coated chips. The one with shredded beef had very tasty beef, but suffered, as did the house special variety, from a lack of flavor overall. Both dishes were just quite bland in the same way, and lacked any excitement of flavors. We didn't finish them, and opted not to take the leftovers. Beverages: I ordered a mezcalita, having had an excellent one at Telefonico a couple of weeks prior, and hoping to have something similar. Instead of a smaller cocktail with a kick, this was extremely watery and had a commercial taste to it. I didn't finish this either. This place deserves five stars in their venue category! Several restauranteurs have gathered to give the diner a variety of choices right there at your fingertips. Order what you want from each booth, and they give you a ticket to take to the cashier, and a table number so the waiter knows where to bring your food. We ordered from 3 different booths. It is an outdoor forum, but there is some indoor seating. It just makes for a really lovely experience when the weather is balmy. We sampled a few different tacos: The meat on the Taco de New York from La Taqueseria was just a little tough, but still very good. The Taqueso de Camaron from La Taqueseria might be the absolute best comfort food I have ever had in my life!!! The Pulpo (Octopus) Taco from Walter was surprisingly very good. The Cucumber mint lemonade was surprising. It took me a few sips to realize it wasn't loaded down with sugar, just fresh, natural flavors blending together. And, toward the bottom of the cup, I realized I liked it much better without a ton of sugar. read more

Gorgeous little area with a nice variety of food. We tried half mole poblano and half mile oxaqueño chilaquiles and these came with a side of frijoles. Absolutely delicious! The plate presentation was great as well. We also tried a crepa with cream cheese and lechera with strawberries on top. Soooo good! The fruit was super fresh. For drinks we tried the mezcalito and a ginger Jamaica. Very fresh and with just the right amount of sweetness on both. Love the entire concept of the place, this is a great place to come when you want to treat yourself to yummy food from small businesses that care about quality and service. The place gives new chefs opportunities to showcase thier concept and become known, so they can have a base to open a permanent location. Awesome. This gringo came here with a group of volunteers from UVa to assist Bordofarms in planting a vegetable and herb garden. Overall, the setup is really cool... Imagine a horseshoe of different businesses, akin to a food court. There's a coffee shop, a pastry place, and several food joints. You order at the counter and receive a number (for your table) and a receipt which you then take over to the cashier to pay. There are tables in the middle of the food court which are first-come, first-served. The service was prompt and friendly. The bathrooms were clean and easily accessible. The atmosphere was very festive with hanging, colored, paper-covered lights. We happened to be there on a bike rally day, and hundreds of bikers descended upon the place to drink and socialize before heading to their next destination. It was a really fun time. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area. read more

I came here in between doctors' appointments and I have to say it's not half bad! I went to the Sushi place and ordered a number 1. It was way more than enough food! My only concern would be that the plate included Yakimeshi (Japanese fried rice), sushi, and steamed white rice which although filling at te time will soon leave you craving more food. Went to Almanara last night. One star because the hummus was bad and we tried to return it and no refund offered. Was told that is how it is supposed to be when it was clearly spoiled. I also had a falafel plate and the rice was plain and tasted almost freezer burned. An hour and half later I was in the bathroom sick as can be. Finally feeling better almost 16 hours later. What an amazing concept! You can select food and drinks from different stands but instead of paying each of them, you have one bill at the end. It is arranged so that it is somewhat enclosed from the road but still maintains an outdoor and airy environment. I ordered a crepe from one stall and an agua fresca from another. I don't know why my friends hate on this place so much, I thought it was great! It is a little on the expensive side, but the quality of the food is really amazing considering they're all essentially glorified food trucks. And, they get the 5th star from me because they sell lots and lots of beer (there's no other way to eat tacos or burgers!) It has its own parking, which is convenient. However they do charge (but it's only like 5 pesos with proof of purchase) If you're in town with a bunch of people debating where to go eat, and everyone is craving something different, save yourself the headache and just come here. Pulpoenchilado! Damn, that thing was delicious! There was fresh, roasted octopus with various condiments; red onions, avocado slices, mayo and all these yummies in a fresh backed crusty roll. There were different condiments including a spicy mayo, a chocolaty tasting sauce, a chimichurri type of sauce and a tamarind sauce. All the flavors mixed well together; there were subtleties and different textures that made the picudita even better than it was. I also ordered the jamaica tea; like a hibiscus Arnold Palmer. The service was nice and friendly. It had a co-op food feel. There were different types of food within this food garden but we decided on the pulpoenchilado. There's plenty of seating and plenty of parking it is attached to the food garden do not park outside, there's a parking attendant always there. Today I tried Picuditas , I ordered a Carne Asada Picuditas, it's a gourmet torta on a ciabatta style bread, filled with carne asada, Pickled red onions, avocado, Oaxaca cheese. They offer six homemade salsas. Delicious!! I'm coming back for the octopus one- they sold out. I have visited since the first month they opened and must declare myself partial to Veggie Smalls, they are the main reason behind my repeated visits. I especially enjoy their Portobello Burger (Marinated portobello with avocado) and their Crispy Burger (Crispy breaded eggplant). I gave Almanara a try but my hummus and tabuleh are better. Very cool collection of hipster food trucks. The cinnamon sugar crepe was amazing. The nachos came with lettuce, which was weird, and in general the nachos were unremarkable. Had a tasty cucumber lime mint beverage. The DJ was fantastic, spinning a variety of fun cool music in both Spanish and English. There was a sushi/Japanese truck, and a crepe truck, but it seemed like the rest of the trucks were standard Mexican fare. Still would go back to try more from the menus though. read more

I got a plate of ANTOJITOS AZTEKA. And my friend got the CHILAQUILES CON HUEVOS. Mouth was drooling when the plate was coming. Then we got tacos from LA TAQUESERIA and got the TACOS DE NEW YORK CON CAMARÓN. It's always crazy how big of a difference tacos from Mexico are compared to U.S. tacos. All six of us were able to walk around and order what we wanted and then relax and talk at our table until our food was brought to us. We loved our food. We ordered more. We shared. Super chill, everyone is very nice and has a great attitude. It's one of the few places a group that is hardcore carnivore and vegetarian. The local beer available is awesome, skip the tecate and support the microbreweries.
