The location is extremely convenient, the food options countless, the environment avant-garde, depending on the truck the service tolerable for a well prepared meal, and the food presentation and flavors were outstanding! We were staying at a hotel right next door, so we got to eat here several times and tried different meals. Most of them were very very good. See photos for more details. read more

What food do you usually crave when you go to TJ? Tacos of course! This time we wanted to try something different. Luckily good old yelp helped us find this little hidden gem close to the Macro plaza. Very cool area with at least 8 food trucks. They have a parking lot with free parking, a little play area for the kids, and clean restrooms. We were a party of 12...heading to the toros baseball game that evening. You know how hard it is to please 12 people especially when 6 of those people are kids; this stop left everyone satisfied and happy! There was a variety of food; from sushi to pizza to noddles to gourmet tacos to dessert even. I had the enmoladas (like enchiladas but instead of the red sauce, they're covered in mole.) The order came with rice and a little plantain. The food was flavorful and delicious. To drink I had a lemonade with chia seeds. Very refreshing! The grand total...$100 pesos...about $5.50!! Wow! Others in our party had barbecue pulled pork sandwiches, combo tacos, noodles. They all loved their food. I forgot to mention that they have great customer service. They bring your food to your table and all were very friendly. We will be back again to try some of the other food options they have! read more

Great inexpensive gourmet food. My only complain would be that some of the food trucks do not accept debit/credit card. The place has it's own parking and the area it's very accessible by foot or driving. read more

Great place to eat a variety of food. You can eat authentic Mexican food and desserts to vegan food. They prices are very reasonable. I had a shrimp cocktail and two fish tacos. They were both delicious. They do accept debit and credit cards. read more

We tried almost all the food trucks in there. But tacos from Carreta22 are AMAZING! Everyone must try their taco Norteño and their taco Cochinita. Also the Burgers from the hotdog place were awesome. The ones we didnt like were the Desserts place, we were kind of dissapointed about their brownies. They look really good but somehow they werent great at least for our taste. Also the Mosmon place, maybe we didnt order correclty there. We asked for the octopus taco and one beef taco but we felt the meat wasnt tasty enough, but i read really good reviews about their seared tuna so porbably next time will try something else there. Definetely would come back! And repeat those norteño tacos. read more

Inexpensive gourmet food. I tried two trucks, Musmon, had the Camarones Zarandeados which were accompanied with a risotto and veggies. The shrimps were delicious but I thought the risotto was overdone and mushy. Also had the shrimp ceviche from Fragata. It had the right amount of acidity and was excellent. I would recommend these both dishes. Next time I'll order more items from the other trucks. read more

CARRETA 22 Has the best tortilla soup I have ever had and the tacos were bomb! The food and the desserts at these food trucks all look really good, great place to stop in when you visit Tijuana. read more
