This place carries a hint of that Teeter familiarity but stretches wider, almost like someone blended a neighborhood grocery with a scaled down Walmart and then polished the edges so it still feels like a supermarket rather than a full blown everything store. Groceries, softlines, a few appliances, long aisles that seem to go on forever, and that slightly dizzying sense that you could wander for a while and still not see it all. She was taking it in with that mix of curiosity and surprise that makes a simple errand feel like a small field trip. Dinner became its own little puzzle. We drifted through the heat and eat section, which always looks promising until you realize nothing is quite calling your name. The frozen aisle had its own appeal, mostly because the cold air felt good, but everything there felt too heavy for the night. The deli sandwiches looked fine but not inspiring. So we circled back to the basics that never let you down: a bag of grapes, some sliced cheese, two tomatoes that looked like they had been waiting for us, and a loaf of bread. Simple ingredients, easy to assemble, and perfect for sandwiches made in the Sprinter, which somehow always taste better when you put them together on the road. Self checkout was a breeze, just a quick scan of everything and we were rolling back out into the evening without any fuss. A smooth little stop, the kind that slips neatly into the rhythm of a travel day and leaves you feeling like you made the right call at every turn. Kroger is one of my go-to spots for groceries, and I've never had an issue. Stopped in yesterday…read morefor a few things, including Parmesan cheese. One option was marked as buy one, get one half off, so I grabbed a couple. At checkout, they only rang up with $1 off. I showed the cashier the sign, and she quickly noticed the deal had expired the day before. I mentioned someone should probably take the sign down, and she immediately agreed and said, "You're absolutely right, but I'm going to honor it for you." That kind of customer service is rare these days--I've been to other stores where they wouldn't do that. I truly appreciated it, especially since I hadn't even noticed the date. Just another reason I'll keep coming back!

I have never felt more close to home than when I've entered this store!…read more From seeing all of the snacks and beverages from my childhood to the fresh tamales and churros by the cash register, I just absolutely love and am obsessed with this everything in this small business. Anything you are looking for when it comes to the Mexican culture, you will most likely find here. In the back they do have a carnicería, also know as the meat section. On Saturdays the sell barbacoa, and on Sundays they sell menudo! Tamales, pork or chicken, can be bought any day of the week! The location itself is a little small but there is no shortage of supplies so I am completely okay with the size of the store itself!! Everything is so authentic and i just feel at home when making conversation in Spanish with the workers. I am a little sad it took me over a year to find something that hits so close to home, but you can bet you will find me here at least once a week!

This place is pretty small, but they pack a lot into it. Candies, pastries, produce, meats and spices, there's a little bit of everything. The homemade chorizo is delicious, which by the way, the mass produced stuff is adequate but it can be too fatty. Their homemade salsas are right up there with the chorizo. Also bought some candies and little Mexican cookie/marshmallow treats my grandpa used to have all the time. Most definitely coming back here for a refill on supplies!
