Kroger is one of my go-to spots for groceries, and I've never had an issue. Stopped in yesterday for a few things, including Parmesan cheese. One option was marked as buy one, get one half off, so I grabbed a couple. At checkout, they only rang up with $1 off. I showed the cashier the sign, and she quickly noticed the deal had expired the day before. I mentioned someone should probably take the sign down, and she immediately agreed and said, "You're absolutely right, but I'm going to honor it for you." That kind of customer service is rare these days--I've been to other stores where they wouldn't do that. I truly appreciated it, especially since I hadn't even noticed the date. I usually have a good experience when shopping at this Kroger. Sometimes items can be hard to find, but i'll cut them some slack because the store is big, and it's not this location's fault that the app doesn't show aisle locations for items. But here's my issue: their pickup service is terrible! I do my grocery shopping on Fridays for the 4x points. I grocery shop weekly, and i need my groceries the day i order them, as i only buy enough to last me until the next shop. Last Friday, i ordered around 1pm for pickup between 6 and 7pm. They called me at 5 saying that they are running behind, and that they won't have it ready before they close, so i need to pick up tomorrow. I told them to just cancel it, because this happens EVERY single time i order pickup! I ended up having to go into the store and shop myself, spent an extra $40, and had to cut my plans short to make time for manual shopping. This is why i do pickup orders! Going into the store gives me a chance to see (and buy) things i don't need! I know i struggle with that, so i try to avoid that issue by shopping on the website for pickup. I'd recommend the store itself, but definitely not pickup. read more

This is the closest grocery store to us here, and we frequent it often. Back home, we'd never go out of our way to visit a Kroger but I am thoroughly impressed with this store. We usually come here just to grab some groceries, but my mini me somehow always gets us to grab a small snack of the mandarin orange chicken on the bakery side. She's a very picky toddler, so her asking for and actually eating this has to say something. Further in the bakery, they usually have a small box for a free child's cookie. If we don't get the chicken, we'll grab her a cookie. She loves Kroger. On Friday nights, from 5-7pm, they do free wine tasting, so bring your ID. The usually pair it with a cheese, and little oyster crackers to cleanse the palette, who knew. The produce and meats are usually pretty well maintained, everything looks good and we've never had a problem. The variety of other items that you can find here can also include: home decor, clothing, shoes, toys and seasonal goodies. They even have a little reward program, every $100 you spend, you get .10 off when you gas up your car! read more

This store is always stocked with the freshest produce, bakery goods, deli food, etc.. It is generally clean, and employees are very friendly when you need help. Whether it's been the self check out or assisted line or even the customer service I've had great experiences all around. Only recommendation I have is to work on the cleanliness of your restrooms 3 different times now I have come in and the restrooms are subpar. The parking lot was packed because it was Christmas Eve, but when I went in, I didn't get the usual overly packed Kroger with long lines. I was shocked! I used to shop at this Kroger about once a week. But their customer service keeps getting worse and worse. I did my shopping for more than a week, but it took me longer to check out than it did to shop. 25-30 customers in line, and they had 2 check outs open. Bad as Walmart! They want to direct me to the self checkout, but I don't work for Kroger. I would use it if I got a 20% discount. But 20% of what I pay for groceries goes to pay the cashier and bagger. Also the way the store is set up, makes it very difficult to shop riding one of the handicapped carts. For instance, in the frozen food aisle the cart is in the way of opening the door. read more

This is probably my favorite example of this chain. It's the closest thing I have to a Mariano's so if they'd just put in an oyster bar...hint hint. This store is new, filled with clean wide aisle, and chock full of things I don't need but might want. There's clothes, sneakers, beautiful dishes, a wine steward judging you and a lovely hot ready made dishes on top of the enormous selection of regular every day items. I have a love/hate relationship with this particular Kroger because of the sheer size and confusing layout. I mean, how many different places are there for cheese?? And why are eggs in the same aisle as juice and snack puddings? The logistics of this place drives me nuts but I appreciate the steps I can get in and storing the knowledge there's Kit Kat drumstick novelty bars awaiting my next trip. So when the need for gas in the tank (and a forgotten item on last week's grocery list) presented itself while I was in the area I figured I would take a look around. I have to mention the mural because it is a perfect homage to downtown Augusta. Also, this is Kroger Marketplace. What does that mean? Oh just that they carry any and everything you could ever think of. Clothes, shoes, sushi bar, wine tastings? Yeah, they have all of that. It is a step in the right direction for them, as they have some heavy competition in the area. I may consider coming here more often (or at least getting delivery from here) in the future. Need gas? Flowers? Groceries? Shoes? Clothes? Some medicine? Come to Kroger. I can get almost everything I need here and it's a quick trip from the house. The produce we get here is pretty good, their meats are fair, and the cheese is a hit or miss. We've gotten a few that will mold a day or two later. We've brought it back to the store and they exchanged it no problem though. If you want a quick bite they have a salad bad and a little area for sushi, pizza, hot Asian food, and a deli it looks like. If you bring your small kids they can get a free cookie in the bakery. If you head towards produce they sometimes offer a free fruit, my kids have had a banana and mandarin. My kids look forward to this every time. read more

This kroger rocks!!! It's huge! So. It semi reminded me of a Walmart with out all the rude customer service. They sell a large variety of patio furniture when you first enter. They have a huge prepared food section for those needing a quick hot dinner. The bakery and deli are all right beside the prepared food so you can get all those at once. You can expect every aisle to have a good variety of whatever you are looking for, so if there is something you can't find, I'd ask. For me, Latin specialities can be hard to find, however, they hAd plenty, and at multiple varieties of things needed. In the middle of the store, they randomly sold clothes, back to school items, book bags--think the section in cvs or Walgreens when you are on vacation and need a cheap Tshirt or beach towel. Other notable items. They do wine tasting on Friday, and have a huge selection of wines to chose from. Beside the wine section is a decent beer selection(though most krogers have a nice beer selection already) and a small cigar humidor selection which was unique to Parking is plenty, and there is a gas station to use your kroger points. read more

Overall good shopping experience. This Kroger is larger than most Kroger's as it has a clothing section as well. The variety is up to par with most Kroger's and is pretty well organized. After my first not-so-great experience at this Kroger when they initially opened, I decided to give it a rest before I went again and write a review afterward. Well, at about 5 months later, I can say that this Kroger has moved past its growing pains and is now my favorite! Not all Krogers are made alike as this one is a Marketplace- think Kroger and small Walmart getting hitched. There are conveniently 2 entrances so you can start either on the pharmacy side or the market/deli/Starbucks side. In the beginning it seemed like they struggled to fill the store up and strangely there would be empty spots where food should've been (and this isn't because a large rush just came and went either). Now my biggest qualm is that sometimes the placement of things don't make sense...so much so that one day I had to ask for a store map because I couldn't find the aisle the eggs were in! They do have an extensive craft beer section, wine and a great deli, bakery and hot food area. Employees are generally super friendly and I haven't had any issues since my first visit. If you want to pick up your groceries after Kroger shops for you, there is the Kroger ClickList option you can use. The Marketplace is one of the options in the CSRA. Just login to your Kroger account online or on the Kroger app and they will pack up the things you picked and bring them to your car! I must say this store is multi functional for several things food,home products,clothing. But let's look at what most customers like myself and other come in a Krogers for- the food!. They have all the basics of what we expect from a Krogers but also a cold salad bar a sushi bar a pizza bar and BBQ bar. Also a sandwich shop among other things. Lots of flavored waters that I've never heard of as well as a expaned cheese shop and olive bar. Bad: * Bakery Dept. bakes majority of breads at 3pm - and have a paltry selection compared to most Kroger Marketplace locations I've been to across USA. * Deli employees NEVER show you first slice of meat, etc. to insure it is being sliced like you asked - or offer you a slice to taste! (They clearly don't like being asked, either! ) * Selection of popular staples are very often either thinly stocked or 'out'; not anywhere in store. Today, for instance there was NO Kroger brand butter ($2.79) in store - ($4+ for next cheapest pound) on a Saturday morning at 10am! No truck today, either. And, in the Frozen aisles, the section for Private Selection (Kroger brand) frozen hamburgers was EMPTY - although, an employee directed me to a small case located about 50 yards away which had about 20 of the last remaining boxes of that brand in the store. These two experiences are typical on nearly every visit. If a product has high profit margins, like booze, imported cheeses, soda or snacks/candy, Kroger is STOCKED! The store was very clean(which is expected as it's new) and they had a vast variety of items that should meet most peoples needs. They even have clothes and shoes in the store. They have a build your own pizza bar, sushi bar, and most of the standard deli fixings as well. We ordered 8 dozen carnations for Mother's Day, 6 days in advance. When we picked the flowers up this morning (Sunday morning | Mother's Day) most of the flowers either looked wilted or were tiny. We were told they didn't have any other carnations left, so it appears we were given the leftovers to fulfill our order. Kroger did nothing to correct or make up for the poor quality. These flowers are being given to moms and the poor quality now reflects poorly on our church, especially since we arranged pick up on Sunday morning to ensure they would be fresh. Have you ever woken up and craved hot soup from Kroger? Me neither, until today. Must have thought about it right before falling asleep and luckily this Kroger is very close to the house. I got a small tomato bisque soup for $2.99 and wanted to try a few of the pasta salads from the salad bar. I thought those were a little on the pricey side, ringing it up at $4.19 for only 0.6 of a pound. I didn't love any of the three pasta salads but I always like sampling different ones when they are on salad bars. The little seating area to the side is perfect and if the weather were nicer, I may have sat outside. I noticed a really neat painting of Augusta while sitting in there, as well. My husband and I pretty much shop here exclusively for groceries because of the fuel points, but they have so many other things besides groceries to take advantage of. Wouldn't mind trying one of the sandwiches or a slice of pizza one of these days. read more

Love this Kroger! We stay around the corner so it's very convenient plus the savings are great. Overall the quality of food is great! Starbucks is located inside and it's good. The setup of the grocery store was confusing at first but after visiting a few times we are becoming better at finding things. My favorite thing about Kroger chain is the reward-fuel points. I love going to the gas station and only paying 2.00 if the gas cost 2.12 or paying 1.89 if the gas cost 1.98. The digital coupons are awesome!!! Overall great place to shop! read more

The selection at this Kroger location is great! Hard to find items or items not found anywhere else locally. The customer service though is horrible. Several times I have gone in and one of the items I would need is some sort of meat and/or cheese from the deli department.... well it seems that even though the deli is open until 9pm, they won't slice anything for you past 8:20-8:30pm?!?!? This has happened several times. One lady even was emptying the trash cans and when she saw me she asked how she could help me. I told her I wanted some ham, and she proceeded to reach in the cooler to grab the ham. She never washed her hands first. I told her no thanks. The Kroger employees who "pick" orders for customers that order online, a few have basically pushed me aside or just pushed in front of me to get or look for items they need to "pick". One time a young guy just pushed his cart into my buggy so he could get by, not even excusing himself or apologizing. It wouldn't have been all that bad, but I was just adding my item into my buggy and ready to move on and out of "his way". Someone needs to go over basic customer service to a few (or quite a few) of the employees that work at this location! I like the selection of groceries, I do not care to shop for cloths with my food. lots of impulse buying items, and they are cute but i'm here for the food. and they have a very good selection. some of the hard to find items too. so if your gonna knock out a recipe they prolly have it. as with all grocery stores they have good prices here and there. one thing they do carry is the old school milk that I believe is non homogenized, I do love that for a recipe that calls for milk or cream, soo yummy. they have a hot bar with a variety of foods and a salad and olive bar, a cheese selection that is fabulous, hot fresh pizza, a great deli selection too. read more

The absolutely best Kroger in town! The store is beautiful inside and out, very clean and modern, feels like a Whole Foods/Trader Joes, but it has Kroger's low prices! The gas here is usually the cheapest in the immediate area too. It's not just a grocery store however. Inside there is a bistro, sushi bar, salad bar, bakery, and even a section for small housewares and clothing. Pretty much a ones stop place for almost everything. I highly recommend signing up for the rewards program. It's free and all you use is a phone number. Their app gives away little freebies on Friday's for being a rewards member, and with you phone number you always get 3 cents off at the gas pumps. Plus, the more you shop there, the more fuel points you earn and can easily get around 10 cents per gallon off a month. read more
