The prices seem somewhat higher than and the selection lesser than the bigger grocery stores in Louisa and on Kentucky Springs Road but, that said, we appreciate not having to drive miles further to pick up some essentials when we're already in downtown Mineral. We were impressed by the availability of some non-traditional items (pig ears anyone?), but disappointed by the quality of some of the fresh vegetables. For instance, we would've bought some cucumbers, but the stock on hand was shriveled. We noted a steady stream of customers, mostly coming in for only a few items. Parking was free and plentiful. The check-out cashier was efficient and neither friendly nor unfriendly.

Ordered a cake from the new Publix in town. The first one had once messed up a cake order, so I try…read morenot to order from Publix. Due to an emergency, so I wouldn't have time to make it. I had to find a place that would do it within a day. Unfortunately, that meant trying the new Publix. Now, the Chancellor Crossing Publix messed it up big time. If you look at the picture, you'll see that they bunched all the writing up at the top. The number is barely visible, and the writing is all uneven. I can't believe what they charged for this mess. I had to bring it home and fix it. Takes away the point of ordering a cake. DO NOT order a cake from any Publix. They have the worst bakeries I've ever dealt with.

There were so many varieties of apples, and I also picked up some apple cider donuts, cider, baked goods as well as greeting cards, jams and pumpkins! The aesthetic was a cool vibe and all the displays were beautiful! There were some picnic tables and a gazebo and plenty of parking. The restroom is across from the parking lot and was pretty clean!! Nov, 2025. Excellent interaction with CVS Pharmacy today. I needed to have two prescriptions…read morefilled before I was to travel out-of-state for three weeks -- and time was running out. CVS needed to contact my doctor's office to refill the first of the prescriptions as the number of refills had expired. The second Rx was a bit confusing as my doctor had (correctly) submitted a prescription at a lower strength (25 mg vs. 50 mg) than my usual. Before turning the filled prescription over to me, the pharmacist had flagged my account to talk to me before release of the Rx to ensure that the lower dosage was correct. I appreciate both how responsive CVS was to filling my prescriptions before my travel, as well as the attention to safety in ensuring the strength of the medicines prescribed. Also, a shout out to C.J., at the pharmacy register -- who is always friendly and efficient in my interactions with her when picking up prescriptions!

I went with…read moremy mom and we brought our own baskets and they weighed them with nothing in them so they could figure out the weight of the actual strawberries. they have other gorgeous plants you can purchase for your own garden. we bought sunflower plants and they grew beautifully!
