We do things differently here. People, don't pay any mind to their petty complaints. I've yet to go into a Lowes Foods store and not received great customer service.

This Aldi (located in the resort town of Myrtle Beach) was a good place to stop in. One of the questions I ask myself before entering a new Aldi is to guess which way you go once you enter. In this store, it's to the right, just like our neighborhood Aldi. And like other Aldi's, if one was dropped in the middle of the store, even without any signage, one would quickly know where they were. They did have some brand name foods, including Korean Shin Ramen, though at a much higher price than what you could get at a H-Mart. And this location continues the Aldi tradition of needing a returnable quarter to get a cart. My wife checked the Aldi branded (Aldi Finds) aisle, but didn't find anything she wanted to buy. We ended up buying a gallon of drinking water (we had gone to Costco early in our trip to buy water but decided that 4 gallons was too much), and some gourmet cheese that we've had before and liked. Every one is kind and 95% of what you'll here is Spanish conversation or either a novella on TV or a sports game of some sort (when I went it was American Football). The Tamales: they are fresh and moist and have perfect proportions. They are nothing like what you get in the average Mexican restaurant, which are usually made bland and then add a sauce on top, these have the spice in the meat and cornmeal.
