I had completely forgotten that the Kroger store brand is nation wide and I was already a member of the rewards program from my last store. It gave me a sense of calm as I was able to walk into the store and recognize it as being the same as my previous store. This made navigating the store much easier and I instantly felt at home. I was able to get everything on my list (and more). The staff is super friendly. The store was clean and easy to get around with a cart. I will be marking this down as my go to store from now on.

Maybe that's their angle, because it's quite a drive to either of those two other chains I mentioned before if you live in La Vergne. I wasn't overly impressed, but they definitely caught my attention with a couple things. The selection of proteins wasn't as good as Costco, but they had a lot more variety in the freezer section. The deli is a bonus and helps to eliminate extra stops. When walking the isles, I noticed there was a lot of product where it wasn't supposed to be and open product laying on the shelves. Jumping outside, the gas station situation is awful. Only one row of pumps and the queue is a nightmare during a rush.

Walking into the store are employees sitting to the right of the store smoking. The cart Coral has trash all over the store along with trash in the carts. Once in the store you notice that the floors look like they haven't been cleaned in ages. The selection of goods is just sad. The produce department is a laughing joke. Service during checkout is ridiculously slow. The busiest time of the day had two lanes opened. I live five minutes away from the store and I choose to drive to the Kroger in Smyrna which is an extra 10 miles away. Kroger either needs to do something with this store or completely shut it down. I believe it is a health risk at this point.
