It's not our regular location, but my husband and I were in the Murfreesboro area with some time to kill on a Friday evening and we decided to stop in and do a little shopping. Every Costco has a similar layout, and this store is no exception. Surprisingly, this location wasn't nearly as busy as the warehouses closer to Nashville tend to be. Everything was clean, easy to find, and well-stocked. Check-out lines were short, and the cashiers were fast and friendly. I wouldn't go out of my way to shop at this location, but I would definitely stop by if we were in the area and needed to pick up a few things! read more

While there, my wife decided we should explore this relatively new Costco. No surprises! Our shopping experience was very similar to our local Costco store. At mid-day, the store was busy, had the same or very similar merchandise, and a staff that was genuinely courteous, engaging, and helpful. LOL... We both work from home. So my wife and I often discuss relocating. At the top of her Requirement List is always, "There MUST be a Costco within 10-15 minutes that does not require driving on an Interstate Highway! read more

Been a costco member a number of years but this one really tends to be hit or miss with fruits and veggies section. You either get good items or you buy them and they go bad within 24-48 hours of buying them. This costco is also on the small side and unfortunately do not carry any liquor. The check out lines seems to go faster here than other locations and they have a decent car wash area. read more

This is the worst Costco in middle TN. Bought multiple packs of meat with all to go bad within a day of being at home. Not sure if they package them with correct dates but I've never had this problem at other costcos and this was a waste of a few hundred dollars. read more

Costco has lots of deals daily. They have a huge selection of food options for many types of ethnicities. It can get a bit busy specially close to lunch hours and holidays. The food court offers many lunch choices at beyond reasonable price. Self checkout and regular check out are both a breeze. FYI, they scan the card on the way in to verify membership. Tell the people who check receipts as you that it is not the time to have a full blown conversation as people are exiting. Count the items or do a quick glance and then get them moving! This Costco is still fairly new and we do most of our weekly shopping here. They have an overall great selection of products but there are few aspects that are slightly lackluster... First, they only carry very generic proteins and other stores in the greater Nashville area have a better selection. I'd love to see them carrying different cuts of red meat instead of the generic steaks and roasts. They do make up for it with a selection of seafood. Second, we regularly can't find products week after week. We'll find something new that we love, only to never see it again. I'd love more consistency in what they keep stocked. Third, the checkout area is a catastrophe. The self-checkout queue can stretch halfway to the back of the store, while the regular checkout stands only accommodate a maximum of three people queuing at once. This creates a nightmare on busy weekends, and the checkout line drains right into the food court which only adds to the chaos. Overall, it's not a bad Costco, just not the best layout. I'm guessing they underestimated the amount of customers they would get and that's how it ended up this way. A huge positive is the friendly staff and great gas prices! The money you save on gas alone gives the membership its value. read more

The arrival of Costco in Murfreesboro was eagerly anticipated by a number of locals including me. Having had prior experience shopping at Costco, I knew what to expect and was not disappointed or surprised when visiting the new location. It is a membership store, and purchases can only be made after scanning a membership card. The store is a large warehouse with almost all items for sale located on the ground floor and extra stock stored in the upper levels of warehouse racking. Most items are in larger than retail-size containers, with exceptions such as vitamins, clothing, and some food items. The gas station is my favorite department. Considered a loss leader, fuel is always priced lower than the surrounding gas stations. The last time I was there, prices were over 20 cents/gallon lower than the prices in my city. The carwash is another good deal. It's powerful and includes wax and wheel washer and costs $7.99, much less than local car washes. I will continue to shop here, it's worth the 45 minute drive! read more

Wasn't sure I would like Costco after being a Sam's Club meme we for more than 20 years. However, I have been very pleased with the service and products for the past year. Hardly ever do we spend less than $200/trip and make at least 2 trips a month. You have to learn the Costco way of shopping and then it can be very enjoyable. I advise searching YouTube to learn about how to shop and make the most of your trips. I love a clean store and friendly employees--you get it here! **Tip** Like all places, it gets BUSY for the weekends and when there is an upcoming holiday. So shop during the week if you don't like crowds. Items stay in a general area but there aren't signs to say that is on which aisle so be prepared to walk around and browse. This gives you a chance to finds deals and specials. I always find something needed or wanted but didn't know they had or it's a special price. Love the car wash! Excellent price for the "works". Haven't tried the food service (pizza, hot dogs, coffee) but it is always packed as well. They are very efficient with the checkout area even if using the self checkout there is some help. Here are some of my favorites: Vitamins/Supplements Motor City Pizza Organic Cane Sugar Alkaline Water Bath Tissue Crest Toothpaste (especially the deals) Just Bare Chicken bites And too many more to list. This review is for the tire center only. We purchased tires for our vehicles at this location. Even with an appointment, it generally takes about 50 minutes to get our tires rotated. Today, I go back to the desk after an hour and ask if my car was ready. The employee said my car was still on the lift and he was working on it. The employee then got tied up for about 20 minutes dealing with other customers at the counter before going back to finish my car. I go out to the bays to pick up my car, and one employee is standing by a tire machine just staring out into the parking. It's like everyone is moving in slow motion. read more

I've been a Costco member for years and their products are always good. Cloths, tools, kitchen appliances, food and everything else you use on a daily basis. This coming form someone who expects quality for their money. The help is absolutely amazing. 99% percent of the time they are friendly and more than willing to help with whatever you need. I'm very disappointed with your kiosk at the car wash. For members who would like to pay at the wash center your kiosk is not very user friendly. I was unable to get my member card to scan. There were no employees around to assist either. After numerous attempts I left without a car wash. At least have a call button to notify an employees that a member needs assistance. read more

Attendant was great. You can repeat through carwash if necessary and it's definitely is. They don't pre spray spots on vehicle, nor brush/scrub your rims. The design of of brush for lower side panels cause for 6 inches of vehicle to not end up being cleaned no matter how many times you go through. There are zero vacuums. $8 a single wash is not a value if you have to clean your vehicle yourself either before or after to address these missed spots. For the time spent, and having ti purchase supplies and products to actually have the exterior of vehicle cleaned as advertised, it's a waste of time and money. There are countless carwash in the area and they offer better pricing and services as well as results. With an unlimited monthly car wash pass and vacuums available it's clear to see why this car wash is empty. We've tried multiple times on a variety of vehicle styles, types, and sizes. Food court service is horrible. I ordered 2 hot dogs with drinks, 2 churro's, 1 pizza slice, and 1 extra drink. I waited 30 minutes before finally getting this order. Problem is they aren't expediting the orders as they come in. They are instead getting the smaller orders out quickly, if they can, which screws up other peoples orders that have been waiting. I usually like going there for the cheap food items but now i'm considering never going back. Sadly I believe I could have ordered everything in seperate orders and gotten my food faster that way. Do better and expedite the orders in numerical order. By the way, my number was 304 and they were calling orders in the 350 range. read more
