    Rembrandt - the best cheese.

I am sad. James is gone, its under new management and they gutted the place to make it more modern...and it feels like a mini version of The Wine Store. I miss the old European charm of walking into a store crammed full of goodies to peruse...now it has some bare bones shelves with items from various countries just like other wine shops. James had a unique flare, would upsell you and show you around the shop and recommend items based on your taste buds. He remembered your name. This time, we were greeted by the new owner (I think) that assured us that the Turkey Salad was the exact same recipe as James'...and we ordered a tub and it was! Thats the saving grace and may keep this place afloat. However, when we ordered cheese, it took awhile for the employees how to figure out how to cut it well. At least 3 people took 15 minutes to cut a sliver of cheese from a wheel. I understand working out kinks but I guess I am old school and want my charm back that James brought to the table. I will be back for more Turkey Salad before flying back to Poland.

This place has fresh food, friendly service and a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend.

I dropped in to share that the new owners, who have kept all of James' recipes but not the pushy sales style, have added fresh-cut french fries to the menu. They cook them in beef tallow so the fries have a very creamy and delicious flavor without being greasy. Which seems weird but that's the way it is, and I don't know why. I added a couple pics I snapped while sitting at my table of the fries with a little fresh ground sea salt. The WiFi is snappy so it was a nice place to eat lunch while working. The sandwiches are very good and personally I'm a fan of the spicy gyro. If you are jonesing for James he can be found less than an hour to the West in Foley at the Piggly Wiggly. If you want some of his amazing turkey salad or feta dips, they are still here for sale by friendly, clean, and non-pushy staff.

Fantastic place! Everyone is so nice! The international food and drink selection is great but their deli is to die for! So many great dips and sandwiches! They let you sample everything too! A must try! Free WiFi, comfy chairs and tables, and even events to hang out!

The smoker! Some German meat?, salami, Prosciutto, some kind of garlic French cheese and a spicy honey mustard & Asiago cheese..

His steak sandwich, turkey sandwich and gyros are my favorite and I could eat the hummus and tabouli forever.

The place is a meat lover's daydream--goat, Wagyu beef, turkey, and more cuts of steak and chicken than you can shake a cast-iron skillet at. And the best part? Prices that don't make you wince on the way to the register. We sampled our way through like it was our civic duty, and every bite backed up the hype. The Italian cotechino sausage ended up pulling double duty--first in a pot of collard greens that could make a preacher shout, and then in a potato hash that was nothing short of sinful. The olives? Lord have mercy. Worth the stop all by themselves. Now let's talk atmosphere. This place looks like a gas station that found religion and got saved by a butcher block--and I mean that as the highest compliment. It's got character, grit, and just enough charm to make you want to hang around longer than you planned. Do yourself a favor: don't just think about going--go. Make the trip, take the detour, tell whoever's with you they'll thank you later. And for the love of all things good and right, get the tuna dip. I don't know what they're putting in it, but it ought to be studied by scientists

The place is clean, and it feels like a true seaside lunch spot. The menu has lots of options, one of which is available only on Thursday. I guess it was lucky for me that I showed up on a Thursday when shrimp creole was on the menu. That's what I ordered and it was outstanding! I also ordered some jalapeno hushpuppies to eat with it; and they were equally delicious! My wife had the grilled shrimp and it was reportedly excellent, too. Overall, it is safe to say, we'll be back!

The shrimp and grits were a tad greasy, you can see in the picture. The shrimp were good, cleaned not too rubbery and seasoned well. Then the fried platter was well cooked and the catfish was an upgrade. All cooked well but the scallops left me worried towards the end they started tasting a little funny. Not haha funny just like maybe not the best quality. Inside was nice and clean. We were debating if the inside was an old McDonald's or a Wendy's from the inside. Would we come back? Maybe if we found ourselves in the same situation on that side of town but this is not a destination restaurant
