I just got to know about this place last year. I was surprised to see so many vegan options on their menu. This is located in Ansonia where not many vegan options are around. It seems they have a food truck too, but I believe it was not operational during the winter. I tried a few options from here, all vegan, 3 different mini burgers for $10 (I don't see this option on their menu any more), sweet potato fries and onion rings. Everything tasted delicious. The eatery is more of a parking garage and it felt really cold during the winter. They have a bar and it's a self service place. There was only one employee taking the orders. Overall, we had a long wait time before we got our food. I will be back to enjoy the food as the weather is getting warm. I highly recommend this place to vegetarians and vegans. read more

Super cool concept, we were attracted in by the "food truck food" but in a restaurant like setting with tables. We ordered empanadas, onion rings, and 3 sliders to share. My husband ordered a cosmo from the bar, I just got a bottle of water. It was pretty expensive and the wait time was LONG. We were the only ones there when we arrived. The drink took at least 15 minutes to come out and was literally the smallest drink I've ever seen. The food took even longer, 20-25 minutes after ordering until it came out. We asked for ketchup, but they never brought it back out to us. There are no condiments or napkins available for self service. One bite of the empanadas and we were met with a strong rancid taste. Same with the onion rings. Completely inedible. I'm not sure if the food was bad or the oil had gone rancid but it was unacceptable. Sliders were ok. The hangover slider was disgusting with an egg patty on it that was easily 3-4 times as thick as the burger itself. Like an omelet. Usually when there's an egg on a burger it's a nice sunny side up fresh egg. This was gross, and it was brown. We took that off. The burger still had a funny flavor so we skipped eating the rest of it. The general tso's slider was good but other than that I had an overwhelming feeling like I was going to get sick from this food. We left the food mostly uneaten and left to go somewhere else. This place is a hidden gem. It's a cool looking spot, little games you can play, good music, and a t.v on the wall. Nice looking bar and great staff. I believe her name is Mariam, sorry if i got it wrong lol she was so kind and so friendly. The food was incredible. The chef did a great job! Everything we ordered was delicious. We ordered a few things and decided to share. We created our own pizza.. mozzarella, grilled chicken, peppers, garlic, and jalapenos, it was amazing. We also got a beef philly cheesesteak slider which was bomb and we ordered a beef bowl which was delicious as well. The food was so flavorful and cooked with love and it clearly showed. We went on a sunday which I'm so happy there open since i work late on Saturdays. Can't wait to come back with friends for dinner and drinks! read more

Ansonia adds another great little restaurant on Howard Avenue named Food Trucks & Co. Eatery. Stopped for lunch today and had the mini munch burger slider. Hubby had the crispy cod fish slider. They are a good size slider, just right for me but if you have a bigger appetite you can get 3 for $12. They have about 16 varieties including vegan and vegetarian choices. They have other things as well. We also ordered fries, very generous serving, nicely seasoned, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Very friendly, fast service. They have high top tables well spaced with industrial steel stools, not comfortable and too high for handicapped folks but they are well setup for takeout. read more

My family and I was looking for a new spot in the valley and stumbled on to this eatery which doubles as a commissary for their vast array of food trucks, which, you can rent for any and all events. We were looking for a menu that can feed a family of five that needed to include vegan and meat based items. Fortunately, we were able to get beyond burgers- vegan chicken tenders fry basket, corn beef Reuben sliders, BBQ beef brisket sliders and a pull pork Mac n' cheese slider which is out of this world. The eatery is a converted garage which allows spacing for covid-19 restrictions and allows you to entertain the kids by checking out the food trucks while your dining. Great atmosphere! We had the pleasure of finding Food Trucks & Co. Eatery by Nieves Hospitality when looking for a food truck for our wedding. We stopped by the eatery on Howard Ave in Ansonia to try the food and get more information. We ordered a few sliders which were cooked fresh to order and really enjoyed them. We talked with Janese about what we were looking for at our wedding. We were delighted to learn that this food truck option could be tailored from full on sit down catering to a more casual food truck and bar truck. We met with Ernie Nieves who guided us with food selections and options. He and his team created a a wonderful menu and catered to us and our guests. This place is a new amazing find. They specialize in sliders and cater to meet lovers and vegetarian and vegan lovers too! I can't recommend them enough after trying them for the first time.
