At…read morefirst I was apprehensive due to their model where you may see various physical therapists rather than just one. However they managed the continuity of care surprisingly well and I noticed that after a while my appointments honed in on mostly 2 main therapists. I could always request just one but since they're so good at communicating I found it so much easier to have two options for easy scheduling. Another advantage is that you can try them all and find the best fit (though all are great!) I ended up in somewhat of a routine and am happy to say that they taught me everything I needed to know to keep up the exercises for management of my osteoarthritic knees at home now, and they completely cured my plantar fasciitis, plus Scott, who I really appreciated a ton for his great advice on many topics, convinced me to go to a sneaker place called Marathon where they evaluate your feet and give you just the right inserts and sneakers. My entire set of 20+ yrs of problems with feet disappeared ever since. Every person there is kind and has a great sense of humor. They maintain a great upbeat and interactive atmosphere. I am all set now with home care based on what they taught me but I'd go back in a heartbeat if I needed PT for anything else. The people I saw the most were Glen (owner) and Scott, but I also had the pleasure of being treated by Michelle, Mark, Katy and Shawn. Each one of them had a lot to offer! By the way the setup of their place is really great. Instead of floor exercises they have these raised platforms down the center of the room that are essentially raised workout matts. I felt a lot more comfortable there than on the floor in other places I've gone to. And they keep the surface of it very clean. They also have various strength bungies attached to the wall that you use via. harness around your waist to walk away from and to it for resistance training of your front and back side muscles. They have just the right amount of equipment for everything you need and it's easy to duplicate at home. I actually miss them but I'm so glad I'm better now! Thank you for all of them!

Dr. Catherine Wu did not show up for my bunionectomy On…read more3/22/18. I was prepped on the gurney with the IV in place consulted with anesthesiologist and signed consents. The surgical unit was book for 9:00 am the doctor never showed up. Her office had reconfirmed the night before as did the Melrose Wakefield Hospital. The hospital called her approximately 9:20 am she asked to speak to me. Dr. Wu told me there was some error she didn't know I was scheduled for surgery. She said she could have got to the hospital with in 45 minutes but the hospital told her they would not be able to block any more space. She says she rebooked it for the following Friday at 10:00 am. She told me she would update my employer because of the error by that day before the end in the day. (( Dr. Wu refused previously to advise my employer of any information on the surgery or the medical leave necessity including the approximate projected recovery time. At one point after I asked for the information to be sent she got on the phone yelling at me for asking. I had to provide my employer with the paperwork she sent me confirming the surgery but still refused to provide any information on the projected recovery and she refused to advise my employer of her error causing it to look as a very sketchy situation ))The next day after the intended date of original surgery she called me to cancel the replacement date due to erroneous reasons. If I listed these reasons your head would spin off of your neck. Since I am in between speaking with several people I will refrain from giving you these reasons but I will update you once I have this issue settled. Unprofessional, rude, uncaring, unethical, uninterested or knowledgeable of my case, untruthful, wacky choice of wording and poor decision making is amongst only a few adjectives that come to mind to describe her. I took my son in for an ingrown toenail procedure to which the doctor did a great job. Paid over…read more$500 for the procedure and were told to return a few weeks later for a checkup so we did. The doctor spent an entire 2 minutes looking at the toe and telling us all was well and then a few weeks later we get hit with another bill for $180 for an office visit. Now I don't have a medical license but I can tell when something is healing properly so the follow-up appt was certainly not necessary, especially when we weren't told it would cost us nearly $200 to come back. After voicing my concerns we were only given a discount, no apology and no explanation. This isn't what I consider honest business practice and I will definitely not recommend anyone to ever go here.
