I took my son in for an ingrown toenail procedure to which the doctor did a great job. Paid over $500 for the procedure and were told to return a few weeks later for a checkup so we did. The doctor spent an entire 2 minutes looking at the toe and telling us all was well and then a few weeks later we get hit with another bill for $180 for an office visit. Now I don't have a medical license but I can tell when something is healing properly so the follow-up appt was certainly not necessary, especially when we weren't told it would cost us nearly $200 to come back. After voicing my concerns we were only given a discount, no apology and no explanation. This isn't what I consider honest business practice and I will definitely not recommend anyone to ever go here. read more

I visited their office as a new patient and had a great experience. The front office staff was courteous and prompt with their communications. The space was very clean and comfortable. The medical team did a great job with intake - clearly reviewing all considerations and taking good notes. Dr. Melick had excellent bedside manner, provided easy-to-understand medical advice, and was empathetic. I would absolutely recommend this practice! read more

First time was fabulous, second time , absolutely fantastic. Dr. Gothier truly cares for her patients and really knows how to get people right back up on their feet, like she has for me. She told me all the risks and how to follow instructions carefully. Information well worth it because the results are stunning. She implements old school methods that prove tried and true and far more stable than the other modern procedures being done my other podiatrists. A wonderful experience all around, staff are phenomenal, and not one bad thing to say about these people. But they do deserve a far better parking facility. Whoever is in charge of infrastructure, please give these people the best parking facility in Reading. They're more than worthy of it. read more

I had been going to Dr Gauthier for years for lt foot pain and toe fungus. After 4-5 yrs. We decided to do foot surgery to fuse bones. I don't remember the names of the bones. I had surgery in September of 2019. The bones never fused. After all the PT and bone stimulator I'm still left in pain. After the year my option was more surgery. NOT HERE. I'm not one to leave reviews but I must say the staff at this office was extraordinarily helpful. I have been dealing with a foot problem for a couple months now & it got rapidly worse. I had made an apt for a few days out but woke up the next day feeling as if it needed attention sooner than later. I called back and they were so kind and helpful fitting me into the schedule the same day. As a new patient the receptionist Linda I believe is her name made it a breeze and was very thorough. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet Dr Gauthier as she is away but the fill in Dr was good. As I'm not a huge fan of the podiatrist they made me feel very comfortable. Kathy who assisted the Dr was unbelievably caring, there is not enough kind words to describe her. She made my experience there much much more pleasant. I will be going back in a few weeks and look forward to meeting Dr Gauthier. read more

I had been having severe pain in my left foot and the achilles area for over a year before I went to see Dr. Kellerman. I had let it go untreated because I've gained some weight over the past few years and I assumed that was what was causing it. I also figured there was no sense seeking treatment until i lost the weight, so I basically just lived with the pain. Anyway, I went to see Dr. Kellerman for a different problem (an ingrown toenail) and seeing as I was already there, I mentioned the foot/leg problem to him. He checked it out and told me he could fix me up in a few weeks. Having been in pain for over a year, I was skeptical. Anyway, he gave me some anti-inflammatory medicine and some exercises to do, as well as some inserts for my shoes. Also recommended a particular type of shoe. I followed all of his instructions and within two or three weeks the pain was completely gone. I couldn't believe it - it feels like it was never injured at all. Dr. Kellerman and his staff were all great. I can't recommend highly enough. read more

I recently went to Reading Foot and Ankle for a lapidus bunionectomy on each foot within the same calendar year. I was referred to Dr. Gauthier by a different podiatrist who said the surgery was too complicated for him to perform. His referral is spot on. Dr. Gauthier is both caring and a talented and skilled surgeon. Nurses at Winchester Hospital said they had never seen such a thoughtful and caring doctor. My PT said her surgical sites were the best they'd seen and that she was a fantastic with not leaving scar, I would have to agree. I cannot see a scar, even in the sun. Most importantly my feet look and feel wonderful, and all my toes point in the same direction. Also, her office staff is fantastic, I feel like they really care about the patients who come in for an appointment. Overall, I would recommend Dr. Gauthier to any person looking for a bunionectomy. read more

He is a doctor you can trust. Gives down to earth advise for podiatric medicine. I personally have had foot issues for years. He really presented everything to me and successfully treated me in a simplified manner. On the downside even though he administers common sense medicine and treatment what I cannot really buy into is that his facility is very old along with his equipment which makes me wonder how current he is on today"s medicine. read more

I am actually writing a review of Dr. Kellerman's new business partner, Dr. Caroline Gauthier, DPM. Dr. Gauthier performed complex, flat foot reconstruction surgery on my 14 year old daughter last July. She did an amazing job, putting an arch in my daughter's foot where there previously was none. Besides her surgical skills, which I am not as educated to laud, her bedside manner is amazing! How uncommon to find a surgeon with wonderful bedside skills. She truly cares about her patients. She will perform the same surgery on my daughter's other foot this spring. We would trust no one else. Of note, Dr. Gauthier was with her former practice in Chelmsford when she first treated my daughter. She has made a better move for herself in joining this established, albeit a bit old school practice. She was legally prevented from telling her existing patients that she was leaving, threatened with lawsuits by her former employer. In telling us her story, she was near tears in her regrets that she could not contact patients who had just had surgery or were pending surgery. It took a bit of searching for us to locate her, finally finding her on Linked In. She is worth the search! She is not in it to make a few extra bucks off of you, suggesting all kinds of sprays, lotions, special nail polish--that you may not necessarily need. I got this feeling from her former practice. I would recommend Dr. Gauthier to anyone with chronic foot problems and I am trusting her with my child once again. She is able to admit to Lowell General for the year as well as Winchester Hospital. Congratulations to Dr. Kellerman for making a great choice in adding Dr. Gauthier to his practice. read more

My family has used this office for years. The doctors and staff are wonderful. They are friendly and helpful. The doctors take their time with you and explain the work. I had horrible plantar warts at one point. These can be painful to treat. Dr. Kellerman listened to me and provided the treatment I preferred. It took longer to get rid of the warts, but I didn't have the pain of the quicker treatment, which was fine by me. The doctor gave me my treatment options and let me make the choice of how I wanted to proceed. Dr. Gauthier did the same with my son, who chose the quickest option to getting rid of his warts. They have also resolved other foot issues for us. I have had a fear of foot doctors because of bad experiences with other doctors. At Reading Foot and Ankle I am not afraid at all. They take good care of their patients. I would recommend them. read more
