The little girl answering the phones up front who mind you NEVER do, get a zero star if i could. We drove around 2 hours to pick up orthotics and have them fitted. They knew we were coming from Fredericksburg. We were told to bring multiple pairs of shoes to try them on. Instead of having them fitted the receptionist threw them on the counter and started on some random rant about the doctor quitting. I have zero clue why this was our problem because we met the doctor a total of two times. I asked what do if they don't fit because we were told there was a fitting and trimming process with multiple pairs of shoes. To which we were told to come back a third time if we have any issues. In what world does that make sense? They should have rescheduled me and my husband with another podiatrist before we drove there. We had zero clue how they were supposed to fit. They had the audacity to get rude with us and demand the rest of the payment for the orthotics. We paid half already so we didn't want to be out $400 and have nothing to show for it. At one point the receptionist asked if we wanted the orthotics or not. We paid $800. for orthotics that they couldn't even be bothered to fit to our feet. While breaking in the orthotics we both had extreme foot, knee, and back pain. We had to track down the original prescribing doctor to find out why we were in so much pain because we definitely were not traveling back to Front Royal to be treated horribly again. The doctor was now employed in Maryland so that was a hike. They had to cut over two inches off of my husband's orthotics so that they even fit correctly in his shoe so him being in pain wasn't surprising. Neither of us are podiatrists and we had zero clue that the toe part was supposed to stop before the toes. Now they have the nerve to bill us extra on top of the $800. that we already paid, which we were told would be the entirety of the bill. I'll repeat that we paid $800. to drive two hours twice and get unfitted orthotics basically thrown at us. Please avoid this circus. I've literally never in my 47 years been treated so poorly by a medical practice. I'll be calling my insurance company to dispute any charges that I can. Dr. Doepper and his staff are amazing. I've always stayed away from chiropractors as I felt they…read moreband aided the issues, but how quickly I found out quite the contrary. I've had back issues for a long time, but it's gotten to the point I couldn't sleep. I had an MRI done and was told to go through physical therapy and pain medication by my insurance carrier (good thing there's no opioid issues in the US ). One visit to Dr Doepper's office and I was hooked. The entire staff is great, professional yet talks to you as a person and responds to your input. After two visits I felt an immediate improvement, almost a complete loss of pain. His physical therapist was amazing as well, she worked with me to show me stretch routines to continue the home therapy which round out the functions of the adjustments. Having gone to them now for a few months I've gone from twice a week visits to once every week and now once every three weeks. Unlike some dr's his goal is less visits and hope to get to once a month soon with only "maintenance" visits as needed. If your debating going to a chiropractor you owe it to yourself to give them a try, you won't be let down.
