I went there in 2022 and my co-worker just went there for a mother of the groom dress. She had the same experience I had with the owner..please please do not have them do your alterations. She will give you a dress twice your size and only alter the top of the dress. Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else!!! read more

Buyer beware...owner was friendly but don't cross her. Also, do not I repeat do not get your alterations there. First of all, the seamstress is not in the store. The owner fits you and places pins where needed. You will never meet the seamstress who does I lousy job. I had to go 3 times to get my dress altered. I used to work for them and cannot count how many times I heard the owner(s) making fun of clients or gossiping about them. It was appalling. I myself had bought numerous dresses from them at a discount. I ended up not wearing one and asked to return it for store credit (which was policy). They implied it had been worn (it wasn't), took the dress, asked me to leave (permanently) and never gave me my credit back. I was a loyal worker and was treated like trash. read more

Extremely unprofessional establishment. The employees are nice but they won't leave you alone even if you keep insisting that you're ok. THEY LITERALLY HAD A DOG IN THE DRESSING ROOM. The curtains in the dressing rooms are made out of lace so you get no privacy and it's an actual disaster in there. My dressing room had boxes stacked on top of each other and there were needles sticking out of them. Quite possibly the WORST shop I've ever been in. I won't put any emphasis on the Trump posters because you can take that as you please. There are TWO grown dogs in the back of the store where the "fitting rooms" are. These rooms are filthy, extremely small, and use lace instead of an actual door so good luck with any privacy. The place smells horrid and one of the owners was quite rude and degrading. She made a very disgusting comment about how hard it is to find dresses in my size and that I shouldn't be picky with whatever dresses she's selectinf for me. You can't take any videos or pictures of yourself in the dress for whatever reason and the owners will not leave you alone for two seconds. The only reason I'm not giving this one star is because they DO have a wide selection of dresses, despite them looking very old. read more

First, i walked in and the place smelled like acrylic nails. We looked around and found a one dress. Then the lady (I'll call her Wendy) was picking out dresses. We had to wait super long to try on the dresses. Also if the dress didn't zipper up all the way, you couldn't leave the small fitting room that we covered by a see through lace curtain, which was filthy! The fitting room was only 3ft x 3ft big. There was also a dog in the back room, so if you're allergic i wouldn't come here. There was also some lady sitting back there watching. If you hate TRUMP, don't come here. There are many trump signs everywhere. Unfortunately I will not be buying my prom dress here. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have never had a good or even a decent experience. The owners have signs up all over the store to tell you to keep your mouth shut. Their dressing rooms are filthy and cluttered and they also aren't overly friendly either . The place is a shoe box and you can barely move in this place with out knocking into something. Had a wonderful experience again at Footlights! My daughter got one on one customer service and was treated like a princess. They brought at least a dozen dresses to try on and she loved almost all of them. Great customer service. Gina is very nice. This is the third dress I have bought there and I would go again anytime. Seriously, avoid this store. I'm a bride to be, now living out of state, but thought it would be great to get bridesmaid dresses from my hometown -- especially since I have done business with them before without a problem. But, what's wrong with them now!? The bridesmaid dress experience has been a nightmare for myself and my girls! One bridesmaid received the dress in a smelly box, with her CC info on a piece of paper inside the box, and the beads busted. She called the store and the store refuses to do anything. Next up, TWO OUT OF FOUR dresses arrived in the WRONG size! What does GIna #1 and Gina #2 -- mother/daughter duo who are shop owners -- do? NOTHING! Least get us two new dresses in the girls' correct size. And here's the kicker! They were measured by Gina #2 (the daughter)! Their alterations will cost them exactly how much they paid for the dress. With this being the case, why didn't we just go for $400 Badgley Mischka dresses?! Was trying to be cost effective, but it's currently at the same price of a DESIGNER dress! Both owners are rude, obnoxious and completely unprofessional. Their attitudes are unacceptable. I don't know what their problem is, it's sad as they have beautiful dresses in shop -- but their customer service is BEYOND poor. read more

Absolutely the most helpful bridal shop experience I could have imagined, with just a few words Gina helped me pick out countless dresses in multiple styles that were exactly what I wanted, not anything that I didn't like, even things that she picked that I wasn't sure about and I ended up loving! I found the most AMAZING dress in a wonderful price range and I couldn't be happier. Gina and her mother are so friendly, give great suggestions, and you can tell they really care about how you feel as a bride and your criteria and price range. Other reviews on this place don't make sense because I've been here and so has my mom multiple times and none of these things have happened, I think they've been confused with another place, we were given nothing but kindness and respect always, this place ROCKS! And for people who don't know, when you're buying dresses that are worth hundreds of dollars, you're damn right they're not going to let you just rip and tear at dresses and trash them. I was searching for a formal dress to wear as matron of honor for my friend's wedding. Finding a dress appropriate for a plus size 50 year old that doesn't look like Grandma should wear it or like I'm trying to be a teenager is a real challenge. I happened upon this shop. The shop is very crowded and all the gowns are in bags which makes searching a bit difficult. The owners know their inventory. They carry larger sizes in the shop. If you're looking for formalwear and aren't concerned so much about the store being fancy, I'd recommend this shop. I went into Footlights tonight to look for a dress for a wedding. I was greeted immediately by the owner, Gina, who was super helpful. She asked me a few questions before finding a few dresses for me to try on. She assisted with everything, zipping up the dresses, styling, pinning, everything. I couldn't have had a more pleasant experience. I walked out with a gorgeous dress and a smile on my face. I just left this boutique. I thought the people were friendly,and helpful. Yes, the store is crowded, but there are loads of dresses in there.....all sizes...from 0 to 30. Yes, they are covered with plastic, but that keeps them nice for the customers. I dont know about you, but i like to try on dresses without pulls or stains.
