Trees is across the street from Silver Dollar Winery. I arrived a bit early and Edith was ready for me. First thing, we went over physical history and her process. I have sensitive skin and don't use anything with fragrance, Edith has it covered. I have some prior injuries that need to be considered, Edith is on top of it. She asked me my preference of music, and away we went. The bed was warm, which was really nice, since it was like 30 outside. She started on my back, with a very light touch. I thought it was going to be THAT kind of massage, but no, she was just getting ME ready. I am a hairstylist. I work on my feet, with my arms up. I get tight EVERYWHERE. No matter, I am no match for the mighty Edith. She was amazing. She worked out knots I didn't know I had. I'm sore in spots, but I can MOVE. It is quite possibly the best massage I've had. Edith was informative without being chatty. She didn't ask me if it was too much pressure, she really only spoke to me to give direction, or information. I appreciate that. I am 67 years of age and was experiencing the aches and pain of growing older. I finally had enough of going to my primary care physician and getting no relief. All she would do is prescribe medication, which gave me little to no real relief. In fact, I was experiencing more of the negative side effects than positive ones. She finally recommended sports therapy. But I had been there and done that during major surgery rehab. That's when I decided to seek the alternative of massage therapy, and because i did, my life has been changed for the better. After eight sessions with Audrey since July 31st, two custom, one therapeutic, two Swedish, two CcranioSacral and one Lymphatic, all of my chronic aches and pain have been eliminated. No more constant neck, shoulders and left foot pain. I no longer need to take all of those toxic pharmaceutical medications, including for blood pressure and a statin for cholesterol. In September, Victoria gave me my first ever facial and it was fantastic. It won't be the last. I now sleep better and don't have to sleep as long. She made sure I was comfortable with the foot bath temperature before beginning. Carissa started with soft pressure and slowly increased and always listened if I needed a firmer or lighter touch. She will gently help stretch your hips, legs, ankles, and shoulders after massaging each area, and she listens if you need a break from the stretch. The only thing I did NOT like was that she tried to crack my back for me, so I asked her to stop. The scalp massage at the end was also very relaxing. She did not ask for tip up front like the other girls do, so I asked her to run my card again for a tip afterward. (I really don't like that the other staff want their tip up front! It should be based on the service!) After my last visit, this was a much better experience with Carissa! I will call and specifically book with her again. Covid concerns: They socially distance their clients, staff and clients must wear masks, clients must use hand sanitizer upon entry, staff wear gloves for the entire service.
