I never leave yelp reviews but feel it necessary here for the benefit of the community. This place SUCKS! I bring clients here all the time for my job. The service is TERRIBLE! There is constantly a wait time, even when they aren't busy. I have waited 1.5-2 hours multiple times when it should have been less than half that wait time. Many times there doctors leave early or cancel and instead of telling you that at the counter they tell you when they call your name which is infuriating. Then you have to reschedule which is usually over a month out. It's always something at this location and throughout BACH. There's rarely a smooth appointment and it's always a waste of time. There are many foothill clinic, but clearly the service is difference. This Clinic is terrible, too busy and SLOW. Very slow seriously slow. I went here for my OB doctor since it's 1st having a baby and I don't know where to go specifically. It takes me 20' to be called after giving my name in front desk. 40' to sit down and wait for doctor. And when doctor go visit me, tell me the report and he goes out again plus another 30'. This happened all the time even when clinic busy or not. I feel suck because today I am in the first list, I still have too wait 20' to get called. And my OB doctor takes forever to go in and talk to me. ( is he reaply busy in the time not patient or he just makes pregnant women like me wait without caring??? ) I haven't mentioned they don't do ultrasound for me each time I visit (I am in 7th month). Nothing is good at all. I changed to private doctor after seeing how bad service here has done. My new OB doctor did ultrasound for me all the time, the time I walk into new office to talk to doctor it takes maximum 15'. I am more than happy with new service. I brought my dad here to get his blood drawn on a Wednesday morning by a woman with short brown/black hair. My dad is in his forties, diabetic, and is blind. She was in such a hurry that she scratched his skin with the needle. I hadn't noticed until we drove off and his arm was bleeding. It made me so angry. I had terrible experience with her over the phone She does not know how to provide service to patient or patient family member, her way of speaking is very rude and very unpleasant. I asked to speak with the manager and asked for her last name she declined to provide information and disconnect the phone. How rude & unprofessional was that??? I tried reaching out to QA department to give feedback and left vm to call back but no one contacted back. Also, their process for any order request of needs are very slow. They are not informative at all. If you are working in a medical facility you should know how to be professional and provide care. They nurses here take super long to call you in and they take extra long when you're already inside. The room they installed me in didn't smell too pleasant, there was only one light on which made the whole vibe seem a bit depressing. The trash bin was also opened. This place is actually a blessing because I recently got my insurance cut from my job and I didn't know where to go to see a doctor. Luckily they were able to help me even though I didn't have insurance and they didn't charge an arm and a leg like other places. This place is awful. FYI, their building says "Foothill Community Health Center" even though their paperwork and business cards say otherwise. It's very confusing. First time I met a doctor, he couldn't remember my name even though he just walked in. He treated me like I had no choice in anything happening to me. When I asked the front desk clerk if they take my insurance, she told me no and then the supervisor told her that they do. Shouldn't they have that written down? They ended up sending me a bill, instead of to my insurance, but with the insurance price. I called them up and they said that's not what I would have to pay without insurance, and my insurance wasn't activated at that time, so I finally got them to charge me the reduced price though they refused to print me a statement for that price for my records. The second time I came in the wait was 45 minutes.They also didn't think they took my now active insurance, though with the supervisor's help, they changed their mind after telling my insurance that I am seeing a different doctor supervising my doctor. My current doctor informed me that even though I had switched doctors, the original doctor would be overseeing my labor in hospital, along with another unknown OBGYN. This made me very uncomfortable, and I wasn't sure if this is for insurance reason or what. She also had an intern or something following her around which made me even more uncomfortable. I'm not a teaching aid, I'm a human being. This OBGYN though tried to prescribe me prenatal vitamins that I told her I didn't need, which I don't understand why she'd go ahead and attach the prescription anyways to my paperwork. This OBGYN gave me the paperwork for my blood testing, but didn't tell me I had to fast. My friend said he thinks I'm supposed to fast and I went over the paperwork and it had the initial "N" under fasting. I take that means no fasting. But when my husband called the clinic to be sure, they said I have to fast. When I asked why the paperwork would say "N" if I am supposed to fast, they said they work in a calling center so they have no idea what my paperwork says... so how would they know I'm supposed to fast? I asked for the clinic phone number and they transferred me to the wrong clinic who hung up on me. I called the call center back, and once again was transferred to the wrong clinic that hung up on me again. I called back for a third time and I asked for my doctor to call me and let me know ASAP if I must fast or not. She didn't, so my husband went to the clinic after work and tracked her down, and apparently I am supposed to fast even though the paperwork she signed said not to. No one ever apologized for treating me this way. My next appointment I had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes this time in a very crowded waiting room with not enough seating, and was later placed in a freezing exam room where the AC was broken and overworking. I wasn't allowed to wait somewhere else and had to deal with it even though I was shivering. The first woman that took my weight had me at 30 pounds less than my previous weight. I wouldn't even have known unless I asked, which I always do when they weigh me. She was obviously wrong and the next person to weigh me had me at the same weight as last time. This time when the doctor gave me paperwork for blood testing I asked her if I have to fast and she said no. Though looking over my paperwork they recorded my LMP wrong, and attached a prescription for someone else! They also have recorded information about me that they never asked, like I haven't smoked cigarettes in the last 7 days. Shouldn't they ask me that before they answer for me? It's like these people never get paperwork right! They're paperwork even says the wrong address for their own clinic (2880 Story Rd, the clinic that kept hanging up on me)! They have yet to spell the name of my doctors right on my appointment cards either! They are incredibly careless. I can't imagine it's okay to give me someone else's prescription either. I have their phone number, address and birth date! That's private information! I hope to finalize a change to a midwife in the area with my insurance company and never return here. I had the worst experience I've ever had at a doctors office here yesterday. I came in to get my blood pressure medication renewed. I'm a bigger guy and I have high blood pressure so they usually use a bigger cuff when they take my readings. They usually take multiple readings as well. Yesterday at my visit they attempted to put on an arm cuff that was entirely too small for my arm. The reading came out completely wrong and a day and a half later I still feel like my blood isn't flowing correctly from when they took my reading. They had an intern interview me. I was in the process of telling her my medical history and problems when another doctor stormed into the room, an Indian lady with glasses "Ashley Sosamma" and starting talking to me very rudely in a condescending way. she basically walked in the room and started putting me down over and over again. my family has a long history of high blood pressure and I also have rosacea which causes high blood pressure outbreaks. This lady had no idea what I have been going through in the last few years and came into just talk s*** to me like I was less than a human. I have never met anybody who's trying to run a business who was so judgemental of somebody. Not only am I a patient I am a human being. In the middle of her downpour I snapped on her, for one I was in pain because the blood pressure cuff had ruined my circulation and for two I have never been that insulted at a doctor's office before by someone who was NOT educated. I told the lady to her face that she was no better than me. That we were both human beings. Then I proceeded to tell her that I would not be seeing her in 30 days from now for my next visit. No way in hell would I go back to see this lady or to this health clinic ever again. This is the worst doctor I've ever had in my life. One of the most important things about being a doctor is going into the practice with the intention of healing people and helping people. This ladies intentions were not to help or to heal me. She spoke to me as if I was stupid and she was above me. The thing is, is that I probably know more about high blood pressure than she does. DONT GO HERE if you value your health. During my brief 90 second interview with the intern I had asked about seeing a nutritionist. apparently both the intern and the doctor forgot about that because I guess they didn't deem that important. This is the problem with modern medicine it's a f****** joke. They'd rather have you spend a whole bunch of money on testing and pills instead of changing your lifestyle so you're not sick anymore. They also didn't retest my blood pressure like I had asked them. After my appointment I made them take it again because they had forgotten. What a joke? No compassion or knowledge. This place is an example of why people these days don't want to see the doctor. #worstdoctorever. I had to go see a real doctor a few days later because my blood pressure went up more. Not because I'm fat or because I'm not exercising but because I have a serious stomach infection that caused acute gastritis and was releasing toxins into my stomach causing my blood pressure to rise. I came here at 9am without an appointment made because I had pain for 4 days without insurance and I was scared to get a high bill. I came in as a walk in and they were able to still attend me. It did take about an hour and a half or so but I was happy they were even making time for me. The front desk people were a bit rude, even when I would tell them thank you they wouldn't respond back but the doctor who treated me was great. I only had to pay 35 for them checking me out and again, I DONT HAVE INSURANCE. the prescription they gave me I had to pay 12 dollars for it. Totally worth it. read more

Was I exposed to CV there? It was an eerie ghost town the day they started turning away people who have Corona virus symptoms to ER. I was seen because I had urgent UTI sx. The doctors had time for actual conversation, but one kept coughing under her mask, assuring me it was nothing, but it made me uncomfortable and since there were virtually no patients, and no CV tests, it just seemed like she should have gone home. I felt trapped as they slowly updated my chart to match what I've been reporting for a year now. They wanted me to come back in a week for the results, called me back to the office to pick up a lab slip, and seemed inept at the concept that this business should be done over the phone, while I can hear the laughing back ground conversations because they had nothing but time on their hands. A week later I am getting the results by phone. I just expect my doctors to be smarter than me. I know it's not their fault that all CV patients are being sent to ER, but I hope they dedicate one of these Foothill community health centers to Corona virus screening. read more

My daughter brought her 4 month old for a checkup and they didn't weigh him on the baby scale. They weighed him on a bed ??? So they said he only gained 1 pound in a month. No way, he can't even fit in his clothes. They were extremely rude, made her wait forever with a 4 month old and a 3 year old. She told the Dr that they have both been sick and they said they would get over it, refusing to even look at the 3 year old. She left and once she got home she called & tried to make an appt for tomorrow. The lady told her they were open until 10, come back and wait. She said she would rather make an appt and the lady said " I told you what to do, I'm not making an appt , just come sit and wait". My daughter said no and the lady hung up. There is absolutely no reason to be rude to anyone. If you hate people and your job, just quit. Its sad that this is the only insurance offered for children. Very sad. 3 stars because I was attended there through my pregnancy, first pregnancy so I really didn't know what clinic to go to. I'm use to the front desk girls now but yes , a few or most of them have an attitude and are rude and not helpful. There's this 1 girl that's really nice and if she wasn't busy , I would go to her first before the other girls. Even with an appointment, you still have to wait for the longest time. Maybe they'll call you in but just so you can wait even more in the exam room. Then again what do you expect from a small , for low-income families clinic. read more
