The restrooms are clean which is always a plus for a park. BRCP, has many benches/tables for gatherings close enough to where your kids can play. The playground is pretty large for the older kids. There is a little one for the much smaller children off to the side. What I like about this playground though is the flooring. They have this very cushioned floor instead of wood chips. When our kids trip or fall, they don't get badly hurt and they for sure don't get splinters or wood chips stuck in their shoes. Behind the tables is a basketball court that you can easily see from the tables if in case you're worried about your kids running off to play. It's easy to keep an eye on them from there. Beyond what I've already mentioned, I don't know what else this park has to offer because it's as far as we have gone for play dates or birthdays parties at the park. It's a nice place for kids to play. I only wish parking wasn't so limited.

Very colorful and had some "nice modern twist " of old fashioned regular play ground activities. I love that most if not all the children were being watched by parents, grandparents etc. my nephew loved the big slides and rock climbing mountain. I got so much joy from watching all the kids play. Nice seeing them be kids instead of playing video games.

This last time we went, was a nice day, sort of gloomy but still bright for great photos. Borrego park is adjacent to an elementary school and shares a parking lot with Foothill Ranch Library. The shaded playground is right at the entrance of the park with restrooms immediately next to it. The park has a large open green space for sports and we often see soccer practices here of all ages. There is a track around the green which people use for walking or kids riding their scooters and bikes. Around the perimeter you'll find benches and tables for gatherings. The tables towards the front are in good shape, the tables towards the back seem to be new/newer. There is a basketball court at the back end. It looks to have been recently painted. Off to the side of the court are more tables. All of them have holes for umbrellas. In this area, you will find painted rocks in memory of, Blaze. He was a young man that unfortunately lost his life due to a disgusting human. It's quiet here and I like to sit at these back tables. Borrego, is a small community park tucked in a residential neighborhood. It's a peaceful place that overlooks Foothill Ranch and is a very well cared for park. We've been coming here for years. You'll know why when you see it for yourself.

People in the area probably enters the park from the Salinas side, through their private access. Most people I see here are walking their dogs. The playground is designed for toddlers. There is a half court basketball court. I have never seen it being used until today when I see 2 couples converted it to a make shift pickleball court. I had to applaud their ingenuity in doing so. Now the bell is going off in my head that there are so many possibilities at many places. Who knew?

It feels like a dog park with the amount of dogs here walking around the trail . Alot of owners let their dogs off the leashes, so that's an issue . I'm thinking this park was mainly made for the neighborhoods nearby , idk why else it wouldn't have a restrooms. It defiantly has the space. I wouldn't recommend this place for parties or pool driving to take their kids to the park . I would definitely go elsewhere. I come here for my son's soccer training and a few times my children have had to use the restroom and we have to drive to fast food nearby which is not convenient.
