Came for my clients second visit to get cortisone shots. I went in to a room with my client, they took her Blood Pressure and I asked the medical assistant what the BP was and all she said was 88. I had to ask 3 times and then finally clarified "over what", then finally got her to tell me "oh, BP was 88/76." So medical assistants don't seem qualified. Then the medical assistant sat my client and I in the hallway next to these big stacks of boxes just to get yelled at by Amber Ramos in administration who was stating that we can not be sitting there, even though there's chairs there and we were directed to sit there by their staff. Amber Ramos was very rude and began asking for my clients name and said she would refer us somewhere else. I asked the doctor and he said that's not true. Amber Ramos needs to go, you cannot yell at patients and their family. My client is blind and needed someone with her and they kicked us out of the office while my client had to get injections. My client was crashed into the boxes while being wheeled in by the doctor, and stated that the doctor had to get a new needle after puncturing my client, stating that the needle was too small. She came out covered in iodine, two needle pricks on her hip and he had my BLIND client sign more documents while in the room. She doesn't even know what they had her sign. GO TO A DIFFERENT OFFICE!! read more

I utiliized Foothills Pain Management for my severe low back pain. The Rancho office was where I was seen most of the time. My procedures however were done at the Pomona office. The first two procedures went relatively smoothly for me. The only issue was that the first time I went there, Dr.Mehta got in a loud argument with one of his staff, the Office Manager. They were yelling and screaming at each other, calling each names and using lots of profanity. All of us patients who were waiting were staring at each other wide-eyed with shock. They were in another room but their voices carried thru the clinic very loudly. I almost left. The doctor told the manager to go home and everything quieted down. I was so desperate for my treatment I stayed. My second visit was a quieter one thank goodness! When I went for my third appointment it was very early in the morning, before 7am. My daughter had to drop me off and then return home to get her daughter ready for school. I waited outside in the cold drizzly morning. I knocked and knocked and knocked but no one would open the door. I called the office but as it was so early they were not answering their phones. There was no where for me to sit outside and I cannot stand for long before my pain becomes excrutiating. A car pulled into the lot and a young lady in scrubs got out and came to the door to report for work. She knocked for a while too. She was new to working for this clinic. She finally got thru to someone on the phone and someone came to the door. I asked the person if I could please come in and sit down and she denied me entrance. I asked if a chair could be brought outside for me and she said no. She yelled at me and asked why I was even there! I said I had an appointment for a procedure. She said no I didn't that they had no procedures scheduled that morning. She became even more angry towards me. I started to cry and begged to be allowed inside out of the cold mist and she refused me, speaking to me in a very cruel mnner then totally ignoring my pleas. My legs began to shake and I was scared I was going to fall to the cement. She then said if this employee comes in I can let you in. The employee said, "Yes I'll come inside!" I was finally allowed inside and I sat. At this point I was in an utter panic state. I was in shock. I could not see straight I could not think straight. The office manager returned to me after apparently calling the Rancho office. The Rancho office had dropped the ball and not informed the Pomona office that they had scheduled my procedure there! Total incompetence! The Office Manager tried to reshcedule my appointment. But she was so mean to me I just said yes to whatever so I could get out of there. She really had me scared!!! She treated me in aq horrid inhumane and cruel manner. I called a Lyft ride and went home. The Office Manager's name is Amber Ramos. She is a person who should not be in a service career, she should not be allowed to deal with people! Do NOT go to the Pomona office!! But the sad fact is, I don't recommend any of their offices even if I did meet some wonderful doctors and staff in Rancho. I have no faith in Dr.Mehta cuz HE is the one who hired her and he is the one who was half of the yelling screaming and cussing fight I heard my first time there! Unprofessional and quite possibly mentally instable, and I'm talking about both Amber Ramos and Dr.Mehta. Just my opinion. read more

It's a good place to go if you want some pain relief but not when I think her name was MELISSA or MICHELLE something like that she was an idiot. I've been coming here for almost a year now and I had to tell her how to do her job. because she obviously didn't know how to do it . And confuse it I'm not no Karen. but they tell you when you need a prescription fill just come in without an appointment to the counter and will refill your prescription. But now this idiot say we've never done it that way and I was like you lie so I had to make an appointment for the same day. They took my blood pressure and then wrote me my prescription . And so I told the doctor Miss Tanya Lumbangaol how the receptionist was talking to me and she told me it's because we were almost closing. I was like so that gives her the right to talk to me like that and she kept saying well, we're closing so I was like but you didn't lock the door or tell me to come back tomorrow . Beyond Unprofessional. Took my blind mother for a pain relief shot. She was placed in a hallway by a high stack of boxes. I was waiting with her for Dr. Mehta. Amber R., I asked her name, came out literally yelling I could not be there. I explained I didn't want to leave my mom. At that point, Dr. Mehta came and joined in the yelling for me to leave. He actually pushed me on my shoulder. Scary and rude. I just wanted my mom to get some relief, I left. When my mom came out her hands and shirt were covered in iodine. She said the Dr. pricked her twice and said after the first prick he said her had the wrong needle. Very upsetting! read more

I saw Dr Kim at the Covina office and Rancho Cucamonga offices. My advice -- STAY AWAY!!!! Dr Kim is a control freak, doesn't listen to what you are saying about your own health and spits statistics out at you instead of looking at you as an individual -- an actual person. He's more worried about you suing him than your health and pain levels. Dr Kim didn't even know how my Insurance needs to be dealt with or what they actually cover. Never going back. ...And i had an awesome PCP but she moved back East because CA is just too expensive for her family. This is why I'm stuck doing this horrible horrible job of trying to find other doctors just as compassionate and caring as she was. read more

Only go here if you want to be ridiculed and screamed at during painful treatments. Mehta made fun of my wife who is severely disabled with Auto Immune disease, and belittled her pain when almost fainted in his office. He ridiculed her medical record and belittled the fact she could not get hold of his offices for over a month. There are numerous rules and regulations to getting a simple script of low impact pain meds, and if you do not follow this protocol, you will be punished. My tough, beautiful, very smart wife left in tears today- as she had drama in two out of three visits with his offices. We are seeking other options. I suffer from severe osteoarthritis in both knees, I was taking hydrocodone four times daily. Since I went to Foothills Pain Management Clinic and met Dr Mehta six months ago and his staff, I have improved 80% suffering from pain. I was able to walk our youngest daughter down the aisle at her wedding and I was also to dance with her in the dad and daughter dance. I would highly recommend Dr Mehta and his staff, I'm no longer opioids daily maybe one pill weekly. I'm 75 years old and do not have to use my electric scooter, I can walk with a cane or use a walker. read more

I've been going here for about 2 to 3 years. I have chronic spine and orthopedic issues. The issues are supposed to be covered by workers compensation. The best they have been is a 3 of 5. However, for the past 4 months, I've indicated severe spine pain. For 4 months The PA has been promising a referral for an epidural. What I tell them is not transferred to there reports. It's just cut and paste. The owners have went from two locations to 5 locations. I only see one Doctor. Two months ago I asked to see him. 1-work comp hasn't been paying for my meds due to incomplete reporting. 2- I told the Doctor and owner of the clinic the issues I was having. He was visibly upset I made these complaints. He said he would write the report for the epidural and justification for my pain medications. That never happened. Last week I drove to Pomona to Orange County. The clerk assured me they faxed my requests twice. I checked with my work comp adjuster and she said no requests were made for at least 4 months. I preferred Foothill because both their Doctors were great at administering my epidurals. I had great pain relief. It seems with 5 offices and poor managment, good care has fallen by thy wayside. read more

I was the last appointment of the day on a Friday afternoon. They closed the office right after my appointment, locked up, and left. They left me in the parking lot by myself without water. It was 98° and there was no shade. I am 75, in a wheelchair, & have almost no way to defend myself. I sat there sweltering in the sun, totally vulnerable, until my ride showed up 20 minutes later. I have to say that I'm from Washington and been here almost 3 yrs . This office and staff, Rita ,Craig , JoAnna, Dr. Metha have made me feel safe. It took a while for them to trust me. But so understandable. I told them what happened to me at my first pain management place I had gone to and there main office helped me get the right insurance and called me everyday till we did. Her name was Jennifer. They are kind and caring but don't mess with them. They are smart and can read there patience well. They treat me as a human being in pain. Sorry but this is hard to find. Very poor customer service! Office staff is extremely rude! Very inconsiderate of people in pain.

I have been going to Foothill Pain Management for about three years now and always for the same thing - prescription renewal. Because I take schedule 2 drugs, the law requires that I see the doctor every month - no renewals allowed. The problem is that they routinely overbook their appointments and so if your appointment is at 8:30 AM, you arrive at 8:15 AM to a standing room only crowd in the waiting room. You will have to wait at least an hour and probably more - beyond your scheduled appointment - to see a doctor. They call you the night before to ensure you are coming and warn you that if you miss your appointment there will be a cancellation fee. They also collect your co-pay as soon as you arrive. It seems to me that this is greed run amok - stuffing as many people on the schedule as possible regardless of the fact that people work and need to keep schedules - unlike them. I would recommend that you allow PLENTY of time to get treated there. read more

Rude staff, pushed my farther out after procedure done and rolled him out on wheel chair with his pants down half way while he was still doozy. When call to complain the administrative in charge of all 5 offices name Amber yelled, denied and cancel all the appointments and refuse the service when my father have follow up appointment in two weeks. Plus they never return his cane when they rolled him out of the clinic as they don't even do inventory of what patients comes with. I have recently been given the run around from pain management to another. Which is understandable , considering I'm looking to be prescribed a schedule two. I expect any doctor to be professional and questionable. When I arrived the desk clerk was nice and welcoming , she had colorful hair . I was advised to bring any documentation or x rays , which I did . Then a blond nurse took me into a room and asked me personal questions. I could tell she was not taking me very serious. She was laughing and giggling when I was trying to describe my pain. I'm not a very descriptive person. And it made me a little uncomfortable trusting someone with any personal information that I take serous . she was giggling at things I thought were not very funny . She didn't even take down all my problems. I have a long history of broken bones and accidents and facial surgeries. She showed no care . When the doctor came in. He disregarded me , didn't let me speak much. Talked over me and wrote me off, it seemed. I expected him to be a bit more professional . All the x rays of my back and face and wrist and collarbone were not even looked at . Even though they were obviously in front of him. He didn't ask once about them or even take a look or mention it in any way. I thought when a patient comes to a doctor. They take an oath to serve ,But in his case he made me feel like I shouldn't even be there and had no care . I was prescribed the same things I've been prescribed by a recent doctor. Even though I told him I had negative side effects and needed something different that works for me . I don't recommend coming here if you are in Pain and are looking for a doctor will actually care for you . I refused to take the urine test. Was told , not asked to take a swab ,which I refused out of frustration. Then the doctor told his clerks not to give me a six month follow up. After prescribing me for one month. You think he would want to see me sooner and see how things are going with the medications . I had another pain management doctor and did not care for his treatment nor his office staff who was so rude! So I decided to change doctors. I found Dr. Dharmesh Mehta and from the very first meeting I felt this doctor knows what he is talking about. He listen to my concerns and advised accordingly. I had an injection from the 1st doctor who hurt me and I screamed and came out bruised from the injection. I became really scared to have any injection done after that. Dr. Mehta assured me this time around he would put me out to where I did not feel any needles and I was so surprised he kept his word no pain from this injection. I had issues with my veins and Dr, Mehta also told me that at this hospital they would take care of me and they did just that. I give Dr. Mehta a 10 out of 10 ! I recommend him to anyone who wants a doctor who listens and will give you the best treatment that is needed for your situation. This doctor is very impatient he can be good at times I'm especially if hes doing a procedure a procedure however in office visits are often cut short he doesn't listen he doesn't even come in and sit down he stands at the door violates hippa rights, medications are not taken seriously And on 2 different occasions It's played around and played games with sending my medication and when I called about it got put on hold for 35 minutes then hung up on and then I went back into the office and was told that he was with a patient but I had already been there earlier that morning and my stuff should have already been taken care of when I stated this the office manager was quite rude . The office manager has no caring compassion or consideration for patients tries to treat them like children rather than grown people with respect. Sorry lady I am NOT child and ecspecially not yours I make my own decisions about my medical care thank you. And degrading and doesn't really seem to care about the patients or their needs she's willing to just cut me off just like that after being a patient there since 2016 Stayed with the doctor because it's familiar and because I don't want a break in getting my medication But it shouldn't be difficult To be able to get your medication And the doctor or the office should not be playing around or games with that And one girl even laughed at me on the phone when I was trying to inquire about it very unprofessional And if they don't want their patients going back in there why don't they take care of them why they're there just brush them off to the side like they're unimportant Today that office caused me a lot of anxiety and I left there crying as well as now not knowing where I'm gonna go For pain management they were very mean hurtful uncaring Treated me with great disrespect. Before being referred to Dr Mehta I spent majority of my day sitting in my reclining chair due to chronic pain issues. Dr Mehta has been able to bring my pain under control and I am so grateful for him as my quality of life has changed as I am now living life again instead of just watching it go by. Dr. Mehta is the most unprofessional doctor that I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. He yells to his staff in other rooms, the doors to the exam rooms remain open at all times so their is no privacy at all. He leaves the room several times to go to other patients while he's treating you, he's clearly going from patient to patient trying to see as many patients as he can. Both of his offices are old and rundown. The waiting room has a headless manikin wearing scrubs and a back brace, not sure if he's selling scrubs or back braces but neither would surprise me. Dr. Mehta has insulted me on several occasions and when I confronted him about he said "this is my office, I'll say what I want". His staff just shake their heads behind his back and apologize for his behavior every time he leaves the room. This man clearly only cares about making money and not about helping people with their pain. In my opinion the only reason he has a practice is because he's prescribing narcotics. read more
