His kidney doctor had recommended it but apparently his opinion didn't matter. I went to King Sooper and bought some and put it in a cooler full of ice and took it to him. When we left to bring him home, an RN hooked him up to the portable oxygen tank...... and never turned the oxygen ON. He rode for half an hour home with zero oxygen. By the time we got home, he nearly collapsed in the garage with his walker, trying to get in the house. It isn't like this was just any old business this is supposed to be a HEALTH CARE facility. If you have a loved one in this facility, visit EVERY day and take and problems they are having seriously.

The people who handled her care were not qualified to give to giver her the care sh needed. We spent months trying to stop the infections she had acquired at the center. Kaiser had placed her there and should have known the center was substandard. 12 operations later she passed at home. Her body was worn out trying to fight for her life.

They are understaffed and it can take some time to get something from the nurses. She receives PT almost every day from some amazing therapists in a state of the art gym. I only wish she would get more speech therapy, she hasn't had any going on two weeks now and really needs that. They also don't seem to get (or acknowledge) orders from doctors at outside hospitals/medical centers, so there is a communication issue there if your loved ones have appointments off-site. They have a nice little coffee bar/cafe on the first floor. Reception and everyone else has been super friendly.
