I've actually been to this location a few times over the years, and went there on Sunday due to being sick. I will not return. Laura Corriero visited with me for about 5 minutes and decided to write a prescription that she won't send in until Friday for an ear infection, you know, to see if it will work itself out. It won't, now I'm just suffering an extra week. What's worse to me is that as I got worse the next day I decided to take an at home Covid test. Turns out I'm positive for that as well. Great miss by this incompetent group. I will find a different location as I don't see any reason for me to suffer, but man, I will make it my point to avoid on point urgent care going forward. I called to double check that I could bring my daughter in for a camp physical. Their website says they provide sports physicals and I was told they do them when I called. I came in with my daughter only to be turned away. They said they would prefer I go to my daughter's primary care. Why in the world does their website offer physicals? Save your time and money. This urgent care center is excessively billing people. They bill for a global fee of 340.00 plus an office visit and procedure/lads done. When I called to ask why they would charge a flat fee that is suppose to cover the entire visit (the global fee) and itemized visit and procedure I was told that's just the way we do it..... I brought child in with an appointment time, X-ray requested on their app. I get to appointment in time tell them exactly what I have going on. Attendant in front says ok. Their system is down to verify insurance so I have to give my card info (how is that my fault) take a copy of my insurance and bill me Later. Then she calls me to ask for my kids medical paperwork, I give it to her and explain that I Had other Dr change where the order was sent to. Goes to back and others say she's I. You're better off going to the ER and spending the extra money instead of going here and not getting your injuries property taken care of, or worsening. Judging by the reviews from the past 3 years, I'm not the only one who things this way. I usually give a lot of grace towards healthcare workers as I know they're incredibly busy, but I have never felt as disrespected as I did here. I came in on suspicion of a fractured thumb and in visible pain as it was a pretty rough fall I had just experienced. When I let staff know what happened and the type of pain I'm in, the nurse tells me "yeah..that's kind of what happens when you fall"; not taking my injuries seriously at all. After my X-rays, they saw tears on my thumb and then the nurse wraps the incorrect portion of my wrist. The doctor comes in the correct it and somehow she STILL messed up. Fast forward 6 months & they ended up causing more damage than anything and I now have to do physical therapy. I find this so frustrating as this was something that could've been solved right there if the staff showed any type of care towards my injury. I came here with my partner because he had a terrible pain in his upper and lower back. This "Urgent Care" facility took more than two hours to help us and treat him. We waited in the lobby for almost 40 mins and then inside the patient room. We came here because it was an emergency. So I've been to this urgent care twice now. I have had a pleasant experience each time. Both times my nurse was a gentleman named Salim. He is super friendly and actually will hold a conversation with you while hes checking all your vitals for the doctor. I always enjoy not feeling like just a sick or injured person, even though that's what I am. They're very efficient and quick with their exams. I will say that I don't like how much paperwork you have to fill out each time. But it is a medical facility, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised... After my last visit Salim actually gave me a follow up call to make sure that I was feeling better and reminded me if things got worse to come back in!! I have never had a medical office check back with me like that. Talk about caring!! If I have an emergency and can't make it to my usual doctor I will be returning to this urgent care without hesitation. read more

Nice people/dishonest online process and information. I realize it's a crazy time with COVID-19. I need a rapid test and contacted many places. At 9am, I went through their online registration process which generated a "reserved place in line" at 12:30pm. I completed all the steps, downloaded app and arrived early. The on-site person was friendly and sympathetic, but informed me it's a walk-in clinic and that I'd be waiting for a while. I could have showed up at 9 and been processed sooner. I accidentally cut my thumb open and as soon as I saw it was worse than I thought, I looked online for something close and am very happy I found the good folks--in a very nice setting--and with online registration to secure my spot in a virtual line to shorten any wait time in person. All of the crew from front-desk check-in to PA to doctor were very friendly but professional as well--it can be hard to find both qualities in ANY walk of life and would recommend these guys to anyone, anytime! read more

Everyone was so helpful from the checking in process until the checking out process. I was able to save my spot online but I came earlier than the time that was given to me, which was 10:35 or something. I was called back at 10:28 and didn't take too long before the provider saw us after the tech came in to take vitals. There is a small children's waiting area with some toys and books which was nice because it kept kids away from everyone else if you choose to wait there. I had a very bad case of neck muscle spasms so I went to this Urgent Care location 24300 E Smoky Hill Road. After waiting for 30 mins, they called me in and checked my blood pressure. After that, a doctor came in and told me that my blood pressure was high and told me to go to the hospital. A couple weeks later, I got a bill for $295. That is a lot considering for a 2 mins visit where they did not do anything for me other then told me to drive myself to the hospital. So now I'm stuck with the emergency hospital bill for more than $5000 for some ibuprofen and muscle relaxer pills (for my neck cramp that day). We had an AWFUL experience. I secured a spot in line early in the morning on Friday 11/24/23 through the app (around 6AM) for my daughter who was feeling terrible with complaints of a severe sore throat. The spot I made was for 9:45AM and we arrived to OnPoint and checked in on the app at 9:25AM. They're very specific to tell you it's not an appointment and that's fine. What I didn't realize is how incompetent the system must be in allowing OnPoint to be overloaded with "check-ins" every 15 minutes in addition to walk ins. We arrived to OnPoint but waited in our car (as we have done in the past) and checked in on the app to let them know we had arrived. I was constantly refreshing and checking the waitlist (we were third in line at 9:25AM but there were 4 walk-ins) and at 9:40AM I called into the front desk, paid our $75 copay, and let them know we were just outside. The front desk person let me know they'd call us as soon as it was time to go inside. We waited until 10:20AM and my daughter and I both had to use the restroom, so we had to go inside anyways. Luckily not long after they called us and came to take us back to a room at 10:28AM (I know this because I texted my husband to tell him we were finally being seen.... or so we thought). They took her vitals and did the strep test, THEN WE HAD TO WAIT AN HOUR TO SEE A DOCTOR. It was unbearable. Miserable for her. If I hadn't already paid our $75 copay, we would have walked out and gone to the urgent care off Gartrell and E-470 (which my sister had gone to during this whole thing and was already there and gone and had a 180 experience, in the best way, from our experience at OnPoint). When the doctor finally came in, she was rude, in a hurry, and very transactional. It was terrible. No apologies of the wait, nothing. I made a comment about how long we had waited, and the doctor dismissed me without a thought or care and said basically "what did you expect?". It was the day after Thanksgiving, but they couldn't even handle the number of walk-ins and online check-ins they had gotten before they opened, why were they continuing to take online check-ins on the app? It was obviously overloading the staff and making everyone's experience unbearable and awful. If turning off online checkins when it gets too busy, and taking walk ins only isn't an option, then that should be getting fixed right away - because our experience was horrible. I thought we were doing our due diligence in "saving a spot" for 9:45AM at 6AM so we might be able to be seen quickly and I could get my daughter home and to bed. Clearly sorely mistaken. The strep test was positive, and I had some questions about transmission, symptoms...etc....but the doctor seemed like she was in such a rush to get out of there that I felt bad for even asking. I wish I could have told every person in the waiting room as we finally left (at NOON) that they were going to be there another two hours past their appointment time at least. I will NEVER EVER be going to this Onpoint again. I've had adverse experiences here before, but finally learned my lesson with this visit on 11/24/23. And to the female doctor who treated us like a transaction she didn't have time for...shame on you. DO BETTER. It wasn't me or my 6 year old daughter's fault that you all failed to plan for what may have been one of your busiest days of the year. You could have been way more kind and considerate to her when she was feeling so awful and just waited over two hours to be seen. You were so rude. Be nicer to the kids you see - even when you're having a bad day. Bottom line, go elsewhere - this place doesn't care either way and you'll be seen quicker. If I could, I'd be asking OnPoint for a refund of my copay from this terrible experience. read more

Went here for abdominal pain. Waited around 45min which wasn't too bad. Finally got in and left a lab sample. The PA wanted to do a finger prick to make sure my blood sugar looked normal. Blood sugar came up a little but high (Wasn't fasting at all before the test which is what your supposed to do for a accurate reading.) Left with a diagnosis for diabetes. And being a healthy 20yr old that was a big shock. Had a appt with my primary care doctor the next day and he ran tests and said I'm as far away from being diabetic as he is from looking like Tom Cruise. Place doesn't know all to well what they're talking about. Scared me half to death for nothing. Don't recommend! read more

This place is scamming patients. They were listed as free COVID testing and my work required I get tested before returning since I was potentially exposed. I have good insurance through Cigna and paid the copay for the visit. They are now trying to collect over $200 after collecting over $300 from my insurance for a simple test that should have been free. I will be reporting them to the state health board. read more

We ended up at this urgent care when my two year old cut his head on our window sill. The staff was incredibly kind, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, quick, and overall amazing. Three staples in our little man's head and I felt the care was too notch. The best experience I personally have ever had with an urgent care/ ER situation in my entire life. My husband, son, and I have all been seen at OnPoint Urgent Care and have had no serious issues - today was a whole different story. We walked in around 9:45 this morning after my son (slightly less than a year old) fell and hit his head on the concrete. It was not bleeding "uncontrollably" but it definitely wasn't a good situation. We waited over 45 minutes and one person was called to the back. I overheard the receptionist tell another patient (who has been waiting already when we walked in) that there were 5 people in the back and one more patient ahead of her in the waiting room (which made 5 + 2 for us). If they were seriously that busy they should have warned us. In my opinion the responsible thing to do would have been "we are more than happy to check you in and treat you as soon as possible, but we are backed up and short staffed so it may be a little bit." We ended up leaving and seeking treatment elsewhere. They were far more concerned and quicker to get us back when they saw an infant with a bleeding head injury. read more

I've never came to this urgent care before but I saw the reviews and felt confident coming. I made an appointment two hours before for 10:30. I check in and wait in my car since I have COVID like symptoms. I waited 1 hr before I started to get impatient with the time. I called and ask what the status was and they said there was 6 walk-ins before I could be attended :( I got bothered by that because I had an appointment which I supposed meant first priority but oh well. I think it entirely pathetic that my son was turned away while he had uncontrollable bleeding because his insurance could not be verified before he was seen!! My husband tested positive for COVID on a Saturday. I made an appointment for me and my 4 children to get tested. I had to wait until Tuesday since everyone in CO is sick right now. I did my paperwork online and showed up on time for my appointment times. I was told to wait in the lobby. The front desk called me and told me that they can only do the test that will take 7-15 days to get results. They said that Medicaid does not pay for the rapid test. We have had to come here several time for things like eye infection, not feeling well, etc... it is always clean and they have an online check-in, so you can schedule before you go, even though they are a walk-in. You can also see how long the wait is prior to going, which is nice, if you're not feeling well. The doctors are nice and competent and have always been extremely helpful. And, the nurses have always been extremely compassionate. I would recommend this place for times when you need a doctor and can't wait to schedule at your regular doctor, because you need help quickly, but it's not an emergency. Or if you don't have an established doctor. They have a list of what they do and take care of on their website. It has always been clean, which is important. read more

They refused to verify my insurance. They said they were too busy and that verifying insurance by making a simple phone call was not part of their job. They would not help direct me to someone who could verify my insurance. All they needed to do was call the number on the insurance card provided. They are in network (I verified) and my provider requested that they call to verify. Unbelievable. Very disappointing customer service from 2 receptionists ( Samuel and Shawn). When I asked to speak to their supervisor (Jessica Lynch) they told me that she was not available because she was out with Covid. I am sure I can share the same sentiments as everyone and we agree that no one really looks forward to going to urgent care at any point in time. A building full of sick people, nobody is really in a good mood, the whole vibe just gives off "people who DON'T want to be there!" Well, I can guarantee you that isn't the case with OnPoint Urgent Care! These people are genuine, and the tone is set the second you walk in the door. Sandra the receptionist welcomes you with care and empathy, really wants to understand why you are there and how they can help you. She was definitely one of the highlights of my visit. Next, my wait wasn't long. I had an appointment and I was checked in and ready to be seen within 10 minutes of my appointment. After that, the medical assistants as well as the PA were unbelievably helpful, caring, empathetic, and went the extra mile. Unfortunately, they weren't able to diagnose what was going on with me, so they referred me to the closest ER, but within minutes of me checking out of the ER I received a call from the PA to see what the diagnosis was and if there were any follow ups. NOW THIS IS SERVICE! Kudos to the team at OnPoint, this was my first time going to this Urgent Care and I will make sure that this is the last place my family goes! I looked up urgent care online and this was the first place to come up. It had decent reviews on Yelp as well so decided to give it a try as I recently had an abcess rupture on my arm. They are definitely cheaper than going to an emergency room. The only issue is that they are not open 24/7 like an emergency room so you can't come if something happens in the middle of the night. They are open until 9:30 pm which is a plus so I could go after work if needed. The wait time was not too bad. There was only one other person waiting when I arrived but I had to fill out new patient paperwork which helped pass the time. All in all I waited about 10 minutes. The doctor was very nice and explained everything he was going to do to irrigate out the abcess. He then explained home care instructions and medication instructions and allowed me to ask any questions I needed. I will definitely go back here in the future for care needs. I went there for a X-ray. I walked in on a Tuesday afternoon and there was a hour wait due to those who had appointments. So I asked if I could schedule a appointment for later that day to skip the wait and they put me in their very last slot @5:45. I get there for my now scheduled appointment and to my surprise I'm still waiting over a hour. I don't know the point of having a appointment if you still have to wait walk in times. My wait time was short, and Trent was very sweet as he assisted me to a room, took vitals, and asked me some questions. Dr. B also made sure my visit was short and was really genuine with his care. I had taken my mother to RM Urgent Care off of Mississippi a week earlier because we were pressed for time but we felt like we'd get sick just from the waiting room. OnPoint's facility is clean and inviting, the staff are wonderful, and I spent less time getting diagnosed than it took to fill my prescription afterward. I also like that there's a Walgreen's in the same shopping center so I didn't have to go far for my medication. If you need urgent care, you need to come here! read more

As we sat in the waiting room it honestly sound like a party going on in the back. The laughter and camaraderie was funny to listen to. I say that but I was not the one sitting in a waiting sick or in pain. Keep in mind this is an urgent care, people coming in are sick or in pain. This is not the time or the place for a party. The lack of professionalism was shocking. My husband had hurt his arm so had unbuttoned his long sleeve shirt to slip his arm out for the doctor to examine it. He put it back on but left it unbuttoned to go get x-rays. The x ray tech was highly offended that he left his shirt on buttoned. Keep in mind he was in pain. Why is she in that profession if she gets highly offended by people's body? He was fully dressed except for unbuttoned shirt. read more

We had a terrible experience with the staff at this Urgent Care. Left us waiting in the room after a flu test for 50 minutes. When I went out there after 30 minutes to ask where we were with the tests and such.. they were laughing watching a YouTube video and turned around in a rude manner to tell me I am next in line for the nurse practitioner, not even the doctor. Then, 20 minutes later the nurse practitioner came in to explain what was going on. She was also very rude and snappy when answering questions. Finally, as we were leaving we said thank you and the two people who came into our room turned around and walked the other way and didn't even acknowledge us. I had to take my daughter here 6 months ago. I was a little hesitant especially after our previous visit here soon after they opened. This time around, I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby and patient rooms were very clean and comfortable. They staff in the back were all very welcoming. The PA that took care of my daughter was very good and had exceptional bedside manners. I was charged $390 for a 10 minute visit. Even though OnPoint show as in-network for my insurance, they didn't submit a claim and instead billed me the full amount (Anthem would have paid 80%). I received no documents from them to file a claim on my own. Calling their billing department just goes to voice mail and they don't return my calls. read more

I chose this facility when the assured me they would provide me with a Return to Work Letter after testing Negative for Covid. After calling 4 times throughout the day, they never produced the letter, resulting in my not being able to return to work when eligible. They listened to me rant about previous care and were very patient when we came in.
