I came in for the first time. Got a great haircut for a great price. The conversation was a bonus. Very friendly and no frills.

Their door was locked and they didn't answer their phone. Their internet post said walk-ins welcome, but they seem to be out of business.

If you are over 45, this place will remind you of the old school barber shops that were everywhere when you were growing up. Staffed by a group of terrific men who do a great job cutting the hair of men and boys, it's a great experience for men and boys alike. Do yourself a favor and drive past the cookie cutter chains like Sport Clips and Super Cuts, and get your hair cut by professionals that enjoy their work, and enjoy conversing. Those other places might save you a few bucks, but the young woman cutting your hair probably won't be working there the next time you come back. This place doesn't just give you a haircut, they give you an experience. Over time, I have had my hair cut by each of the men that works here. Great barber shop that knows proper cuts for men. This includes fades, flat tops and great high & tights with the finishing straight razor shave around the ears and on the back of the neck. Called same day and they were able to get my 2 year old in. If you have a 2 year old you understand that my expectation was a full meltdown but hopefully trim his hair. This is the place, if you want a true barber experience. Fast and Quality service. And still priced right in 2020. But just because there priced right, make sure your courteous enough to tip your barber if You've had the same excellent service that I did. During Covid, I made the mistake of going to a barber locally after going to For Men Only for over 30 years. I paid more, and my haircut was butchered. I'm not that picky of a guy, but the local Barber was so impressed with their botched haircut if they wanted to take a picture of a before and after. I thought that was funny, live and learn if you're used to getting excellent service doesn't mean you're going to get it everywhere. Pat is my guy, but over the years I've had, experience a skill set of everybody in the shop. You can't get a bad haircut there, and you won't pay too much for a haircut that would cost three times as much anywhere else. I rarely get five stars but there's just no reason why I should not. Unless I should be smart enough to keep this place to myself, as it's really only known, to locals. read more

I moved out to St Charles a few months ago and had to find a new place for a hair cut. Found this place after searching the area online and was not disappointed. Great place for a quick hair cut. Clean and well run shop with easy parking. The prices are right where they should be and you can tell the guys that work here enjoy their job. I can call the morning of and be sitting in the chair soon after. If you like a traditional arbor shop, this is the place for you. Well what to say about this clip joint.....I've been a customer here for many years! Barbershops are like your neighborhood tavern, you want to go where they remember your name, and, Just For Men fills the bill. Pat the former owner is an avid golfer and many people love to exchange golf stories. Jeff is my barber and always has a good attitude and is a published author. Their is a third barber Eric who has just purchased the place from Pat. Most of the customers who frequent the place always throw their two cents in on the variety of topics which come up. It's clean, friendly, and easy to park right in front. They make it comfortable for the little ones for their first haircuts. If you're in the market for a friendly barbershop this place is it.
