Exceptional quality and perfection has become the hallmark of this practice. At an age where my husband, who considered Dr. Don a friend for years, has passed, my children have grown and have families of their own, and my medical practitioners have all retired, it was clear that Dr. Don chose the Ultimate Best in Dr. Samantha King to replace him. The staff is kind, friendly, and efficient, so it remains a pleasant atmosphere and experience for everyone. I look forward to my dental appointments, and even through the pandemic, there was a certain relaxation knowing that a secure ventilation system was installed for the safety of staff and patients. I do miss Dr. Don patting me on the shoulder as I sat in the chair, inquiring about my granddaughter (also his patient) at college in Colorado when he often inquired about her, but he still yells "Hi" to me when he cycles past my home in Kittery Point. The Best Dentist Office Around!…read more Dr.Harrison is a phenomenal doctor; she's detailed, efficient, and has a human centered approach in her communication. I always feel comfortable and safe with Dr.Harrison, and I don't typically feel that way with Dentists. The staff is also phenomenal. Megan and Jess, who run the office, and super friendly and accommodating. They always try to work me in the schedule when there is an emergency. They text back and forth which is convenient for me. I get auto-reminders before and the day of the appointments. It's a great experience and these two are a big reason why. Susie, Becky, and Kim and three of the dental hygienists that I've worked with over the past few years. They also contribute to this special culture here. No time is wasted in my appointments because these 3 are always on their game. I know there are other hygienists and I can guarantee if they work in this office, they are good at what they do. What I particularly appreciate about this office is the culture and the way people treat each other. When you add that on top of excellent dentistry, there is not much more you can ask for. All of the dental records (x-rays, charts) are stored digitally by computer. Above the dental chair is a flat panel monitor which shows your chart, xrays, and digital images of your teeth and gums. Previously, I couldn't see the back of my mouth at my former dentists. Cool fish screensaver on the monitor!! She answered my insurance questions and introduced me to Dr. Nesvold. He (along with his dental assistant Kathy) spent about an hour with me the first appointment and we agreed to do a thorough cleaning at a later date. That appointment went smoothly and they took extra special care knowing I'm incredibly sensitive to pain (I'm a bit of a baby). He referred me to an oral surgeon in the area (Dr. De Tolla in Portsmouth- also fantastic) for wisdom teeth removal. I didn't meet his hygienist, Cheryl, until a few visits later but she's just as friendly and helpful as everyone else there! I've now been going there for several years and I can't say enough good things. I called to make an appointment for a cleaning and to get partial dentures for my top and bottom teeth, and I agreed to move forward. By the end of September, the dentures were ready. But when I tried them, they didn't fit at all, especially the bottom ones. The dentist told me to try them for a week and come back if they still didn't fit. After a week, I went back because they were painful to put in and take out. The dentist ASSURED me a new set would be made at no extra cost. But then... nothing. I waited until December and called, they said the doctor would call me. A week later, I called again and got the same response: "The doctor will call you back." Weeks went by, and still no one contacted me. I called multiple times, and every time, I received the same empty promise. I've already paid $1,500 out of pocket, and my insurance covered $3,000. And now, in January 2026, I STILL don't have my dentures, and no one has reached out. I am beyond frustrated and do NOT recommend this place.

I requested a refund of the $250 consultation charge and was told in writing that "The consultation fee is for the exam, diagnosis and treatment plan I gave you regardless of whether you or I choose to go ahead." Dont waste your time or money at Seacoast Periodontics & Dental Implants.
