I would STRONGLY caution anyone considering this company…read more My 83-year-old grandmother (who has macular degeneration disease causing her to lose her eyesight and she is almost blind) switched to a different lawn care provider this year to save money. Despite that, Green T services showed up, saw the sign in the lawn for the other company, REMOVED the new company's sign from her yard, and re-treated her lawn without permission. Then they handed her a $90 bill for the service. They are now attempting to charge her $90 for a service she did NOT request, claiming there is a clause that automatically renews service unless you call again to cancel. When my mother spoke with two managers about this, they dismissed the situation and even accused her of "pulling the elderly card," while insisting my grandmother is still required to pay. That response was not only unprofessional, but incredibly insensitive given the circumstances. Jeff at Green T services claimed they will "turn her over to collections" for a $90 charge SHE DID NOT GIVE PERMISSION TO DO. They are saying they have sent her 3 emails and 2 letters and said since she "failed" to read it, she is at fault although SHE CANNOT READ! The worker at Green T did not come to the door before asking for the service they PULLED OUT THE OTHER COMPANYS SIGN, RESPRAYED HER LAWN, and now are still insisting she pay. RIDICULOUS and absolutely terrible customer service. Removing another company's sign, performing unauthorized service, and then speaking to customers this way is unacceptable. This feels deceptive and predatory--especially toward an elderly, visually impaired customer with a limited income. If you're considering using this company, read every detail of your contract and document everything. We will absolutely be disputing this charge. Jeff and the Director at Green T services are EXTREMELY unprofessional. Very disappointing and concerning experience we DO NOT RECOMMEND this service company to anyone who doesn't want to get scammed and spoken to with disrespect. I called around and Allan Garage Door was the only one that had voice mail that was professional. I left a message and Rich (the owner) returned my call within the hour. He was able to fit me in his schedule for the same day. After getting the garage door back in balance (works so much better!), he informed me that the opener circuit board was fried. He said that I might as well purchase a new opener since it would cost just as much to repair the old one. He gave me some recommendations on openers (he knew I would install it because I installed our old one). He charged a very reasonable price for his service. I would use him again and will recommend him to family and friends.
