The spring of my garage door is broken. I compared the quotes of four companies on Yelp, only BEN's quote was the most transparent. He told me the spring's cycles, and also provided free maintenance. The quote he gave is slightly more expensive than those of other companies, But the springs provided by other companies are smaller than his, so I think this price is worth spending. I also asked a lot of questions afterwards, and he patiently and meticulously explained, showing great professionalism. The next day, when his team came to replace the springs, they found that the wheels and two hinges used for my garage door were also broken. They suggested that I replace them with new ones, And the quote was very reasonable. I completely accept and trust them. When you're running late to daycare and work, trying to back out of our garage and then realizing your garage door didn't go up all the way... it's not a great thing. I was stressed and frazzled! I could hear our garage opener trying to run without success, so I called top garage doors. They said they could come out same day between 11-1. They showed up at 1101 and gave me a quote on what I needed (which was a full replacement due to a 30 year old device). They were able to do it same day. What I liked is that they offered up the model numbers of the two options if I wanted to call around and compare rates. The price I was quoted didn't seem exorbitant though, so I agreed to their offer to fix it. They were done in less than an hour and set up a totally baller system for me. Great experience. I submitted a request for a quote for new garage door springs through Yelp. Five minutes later, the owner, Ben, responded and said he could be at my house in under an hour. Ben was clear cut with the cost and didn't try to up-charge me. When Ben and Matt came out they replaced the springs and also noticed my cables were rusted and showed me that the cables were fraying in multiple spots (garage door/ parts are the original, almost 30yrs old). The whole replacement took less than 30 minutes. Ben inspected the rest of the garage door, lubricated the parts and made sure the door worked properly. They are definitely professionals.
