Cobb salad, missing hard boiled egg
    Sam H.

Attended a bowling tournament for the 2nd time here. I've been to many bowling alleys around the US and this is fairly set up well and appears to be well maintained. Pretty open and plenty of space. Since we were there all day Saturday, I opted to each lunch there during our break. While their food/snack bar offers the basic fare, they do offer some healthy choices you don't find in many alleys and that is a few salad options. Definitely, a lot of food on the plate and competitively priced for this type of venue. I chose the Cobb Salad, everything tasted fresh and their dressing is well seasoned. I was disappointed that they didn't have the hard boiled egg on my order, but still substantial.

Decided to have a spontaneous night out with my husband at Forest Lanes, and overall it was a great experience! I do have a few small critiques the lanes didn't feel oily enough, the bowling shoes weren't the most comfortable, and it would've been nice if the music was played a little louder to add to the vibe. Aside from that, I really enjoyed my time here. The customer service was excellent, the front desk staff were super friendly, and everything from the lanes to the tables was clean and well-maintained. My husband actually prefers this location over Irvine Lanes, and I have to agree it's definitely one of the better bowling spots we've been to in the area. We'll definitely be coming back!

I loved this bowling alley! A little bit old but had a good vibe. Went with my friends and had such a great time. Food was good surprisingly especially the wings and fries. Arcade was a little bit outdated though.

Actually, my review is on their food. They have the best homemade potato chips and tortilla chips (nachos). Their pizza is pretty good too.

I love Forest Lanes too because they provide a different depth to bowling than Bowlero, and I've made it a habit to visit with friends.

We got to the lanes, asked to add two more, not a problem but then was met with rudeness when we asked to have the lane next to ours since we would now be 8 bowlers. Second issue, we saw an unlimited bowling deal when we checked in and asked to change to that, the girl checking us in as like "yeah, no that's only when you're here". Third issue, I ordered a martini and got maybe 1/2 a glass. I wouldn't have ordered a $30 drink to be met with an empty glass. Final issue, I was leaving the restroom and it's a blind corner, that we can all agree on, a server came around the corner, almost took me out and then had the audacity to make a comment along the lines of "wow, okay". Overall my experience was not great. I'm glad I got to spend time with family but ultimately the staff can't be bothered and shows that Bowlero is just an over hyped bowling alley.

The lanes were clean, the music was good, and it actually felt like a place you can hang out for a while and not get bored The food honestly surprised me in the best way. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders with fries, plus extra fries with sodas and lemonade and everything came out hot and really good. It did not feel like typical bowling alley food at all What really stood out to me is that they do catering and have rooms you can rent for events. They can host up to 200 guests and have options for all kinds of parties like birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events and more. They also offer party platters with things like wings, burgers, salads and appetizers which makes it super easy if you are planning something Overall this is such a solid spot whether you are going for a casual night out or planning a full event. I would definitely come back with a group

We were greeted by a few team members behind the counter who got us checked in and got us all shoes. So easy! We worked up an appetite and ordered food and drinks from Lebowski's. The staff there were just as awesome, the food hit the spot, and the service was fast and friendly despite it being a packed Friday night. We had a minor issue with an under cooked (in our opinion) hot dog, which they offered to replace with an 'extra crunchy' version :-) So nice! The best part? We spent an evening laughing, cheering, throwing the occasional gutter ball (okay... several), and making great family memories. Saddleback Lanes has that classic neighborhood bowling alley feel with a team that genuinely seems happy you're there. If you're looking for a fun, affordable, family-friendly night out, this is the place. We'll definitely be back and next time I'm determined to beat my kids.

Idk how much…read morehas changed when it comes to bowling and food there but I did try out the food and drinks. I actually thought they were decent and especially when going bowling with your friends and all. I remember my friend ordered the standard chicken tenders and fries for his other friends and I to share. The arcade selections is not bad, better than my last visit but I sort of missed the selection they had when I first visit this place. Especially since my first visit had tons of variety ranging from fighting games like BlazBlue and Persona (I miss that Persona fighting game), racing games, rail shooters like Time Crisis, and games where you earn tickets like Space Invader and that pirate wheel spinning game (don't know the name). I didn't mind the airsoft ones like Onpoint and the Cyberpunk game (which didn't work when I visited btw) because it always felt good using those but I'm not a fan of the VR ones. Mostly because it invalidated the rail shooters and you get sick of it easily. It's the reason why I rarely see anyone play those. The good part about the arcade selection is that unlike most arcade places, tickets are a lot easier to rack up and especially if you know which game to play. The plinko ones I highly recommend if you want to earn tickets. Speaking of comparison, this is place is surprisingly a lot quieter (outside of kids acting like you know kids) but that's because most of the people that go to Round 1 are like teenagers and young adults. Which makes sense given the amount of anime stuff this place provides. The claw machine is obviously the main attraction and they've honestly gotten much harder than previous first few visits, which is why I deduct one star. Though the staff were helpful enough to reposition the plushie so that I could get it but I'm not sure if they still do that. They have a lot of selections of anime merch but good luck trying to win those given how hard they've gotten. It'd be a miracle if the claw even lifts it up. The balls underneath the prize certainty didn't help either.
