Great time & an elevated bowling alley. Came on a Sat night. My gf reserved 2 hours. We had 10 people on two lanes. It was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It was dim and moody lights. Really great to be able to watch the UFC mma fight while bowling on the screen between the two screens with our scores. The system allows you to take a pic of the player or upload your own. Really funny & cute displays of all our faces. Good selection of balls. The bar was amazing. Bartender was friendly and made a great old fashioned! So many lovely options of draft beers. Bartender provided a recommendation of an ipa local from SD. She provided a sample which is always helpful! Staff were all friendly. Shoe rentals were nice and reasonably priced. Really appreciated the self service water stations with cold water. Con: It was a little bit of a maze trying to find this place. It was in the corner of the parking garage. We rented out this venue for a birthday party and we're not let down. The staff went above and beyond. Angel our point person was extremely helpful and Douglas, who was in charge for the evening was great and so helpful and accommodating. Bowling experience was okay, classic issues with a bowling lane that couldnt be resolved right away. We were awarded a few extra minutes. But I'm writing here to say Douglas was the man, tried his best to fix the problem with the lane, couldnt, and just told us what happened. Had our last company Christmas party here and it was cool. We had the whole place to ourselves to bowl and the food was both good and bad. I really loved the salad and the sliders. The crab cakes and pizza were just okay. Service was great, they were really nice and helpful. Went to the bar and they were really nice and fun with the bartenders because he was nice enough to personalize my drink. He made sure that I liked it and adjusted it if I wanted to. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This was our 4th year hosting our company party at Tavern and Bowl, and once again, we were absolutely blown away! We had full access to the venue where we could bowl, play video games or just enjoy a drink with our coworkers. A huge shout-out to Angel, who is incredibly professional, accommodating, and helpful. I had only one week to plan a party for 150 guests, and he made it happen seamlessly. In addition, Douglas went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect and that our team felt taken care of. The bartenders were very quick with their service; you never had to wait for a drink. The food was the best we've had in all four years, and the service was exceptional. Beginning with the poor knowledge of the front desk person, the varying pricing that is not publicly posted, the poor customer service, and the lack of professionalism all around is unacceptable. I do not understand how the business is still operating. They are hanging on with poor quality staff. I hope that upper management can restore the establishment before it shutters due to poor service. The restrooms feel like I'm in a project in LA. This was my first time visiting Tavern+Bowl and reserved a lane online for an hour and 45 minutes for three bowlers. Didn't know what to expect, but hoped for the best. Cost was steep at $100 + $5 per pair of shoes, and gratuity is automatically added on to that. I brought my own ball which has a built in curve to it. It became apparent from the first throw (into the gutter) that there is little to no oil on the lanes. I couldn't keep my ball from curving into the gutter due to it grabbing so much on dry wood. I had to switch to a house ball that I could just sling down the lane straight. Needless to say, I was disappointed in the condition of the lane. There was also no "slide" on the lead up to the lane. As soon as you put your foot down to throw the ball, instead of the usual slide, your foot just plants and stops hard. This took some getting used to. I think this place would be fine for kids or people who have never bowled before, but for anyone that knows what a real bowling lane should be like, they are in for a big disappointment. I will say that the customer service was good and attentive. We did not order food or drink, but they offered to bring us a pitcher of water and even refilled it. That was nice, and the reason I give 2 stars instead of 1. I won't be coming back to play on crappy lanes at a steep price. read more

The best times to come is during football games on Sundays! Being a Seahawks fan myself, this is the only bar to come to support your Seahawks as the 12th man or woman! When you come here for Seahawk games, they have a raffle ticket they issue when you come in, followed by a raffle at the end of the game, giving out shirts, hats, and jerseys! Scam artists. I went here on a Tuesday night for my birthday. I reserved a Lane online because the website said there was barely any availability. It was $90 for an hour and a half. Already a steep price but it's my birthday and I wanted to have a good time so I said why not. When we arrive my friends and I saw that they had a special for $30 for an hour. The whole time we were there only one other lane was taken, so the website lied about the current availability to push us to make the expensive reservation. When we asked if we could change our lane reservation to honor the nightly special price they refused. The bartender told us the best that they could do was reschedule the reservation I'd already paid for and then set us up with the hour special that night. We rescheduled the first expensive reservation to the following Thursday. Things came up, as they do, and it turns out we couldn't make that new date. I tried calling in to change the reservation for a second time, but the phone number provided online doesn't get you in touch with the restaurant. I left a message with the "customer service" line and received a call back from a totally different number later in the night. I missed that call so i called back again and left another Message. I have yet to hear back from them. TLDR; they scammed me out of the nightly special price and made it extra difficult to reschedule when I couldn't make my second (unnecessary) reservation. I just wanted to pay the special price and I got robbed of $90 on my birthday. read more
