Didn't answer any phone calls to make an appointment or to answer my questions about what documents I needed. I had to make two separate trips there. Waited 20 minutes only to be told my original birth certificate was not valid because the government printed it on the wrong type of paper (even though it is an official, stamped document and an original). She then contradicted herself by saying, "It is a real birth certificate, but it's not something I can take to get your Real ID." I went to two other places to confirm, and they all said it was an official birth certificate and that the paper type didn't matter--different generations have different formats. This place allowed me to have a a wildly unfriendly encounter with two women. I walk in and they are just staring at me with blank unhappy faces. No greeting, nothing... no wonder I procrastinated registering my vehicle... Luckily I didn't have to stay long, I got some info and will register my vehicle through a different agency. Highly recommend Bryan tag agency instead. Forest ridge gave me a run around over something another agency handled without even giving a second look. "I wish I could help you" seems a lot more fake after another agency helped me without any issues. read more

I needed to go to the tag agency and just happened to drive by this location newly opened on my way to another so I thought I'd stop in. This was HANDS DOWN the best tag agency experience I've ever had! The entire place was clean and all of the employees were extremely friendly. I had to wait less than 5 minutes to be seen. I was in and out in 10 minutes top which is unheard of at tag agencies. Do NOT go to the Central Park tag agency on Elm if you can go to this one instead. After I renewed my license I was given the opportunity to guess the number of eggs in a container for a prize at the end of the month! They'll be doing some sort of a similar giveaway every month. This place needs to be shut down. Period. The 'boss' is as rude as they come. I thought it was just me but as I was reading a post on the Next Door app, I found out their were at least 50 other people that had experienced the same treatment. The day I went in, there were 3 people behind the desk, only 1 of them seemed to be working. The other 2 were on their cell phones, maybe texting, but not reading anything since their fingers were moving pretty fast. The person that I figured out to be the boss is the owner. She's hired 2 people that seem to have her same attitude. What some might say, 'should not work with the public'. My first & last time I went to get the tag for my husband's truck (a service truck that he had quit driving a a couple of years so previously but we still carried full coverage insurance on & tags up to date). It was still drivable without any problems, just had a lot of miles so he bought another truck & was planning to sell the one with all the miles. I went in to get the new sticker and I was sent back home to get the insurance verification. I hadn't had to do this for the last several years although I did for the first year or so after they weren't required any longer just to be on the safe side. I asked her if she could just look it up thru our insurance carrier- seems that was the best way to make sure the vehicle was actually covered instead of a card that showed up to date but may have had 1 or 2 payments made, or had just taken out the policy to get the tag, the person decided to let the policy lapse. I return with the card, thought this wouldn't take long at all since I had carried out boss lady's wishes.. but no, she needed to see my drivers license, not because I write checks from the business account for the business vehicle, we hadn't gotten that far. I had just had my license renewed a couple of weeks before so all I had was the temporary paper until the 'real' card came in which was due to be in within that same week. Are Says she can't give me an updated sticker without it. Of all people that should know how this works since the pandemic.. what a crock. She FINALLY agreed to take the temp license to get the sticker. But... but when I get a business check out to write & pay for the sticker, she can't take it without the actual plastic drivers license. Are you kidding me? I have a debit card I could've used but I wasn't about to at that point. What made me decide to go to this agency I have not a clue, or maybe the commercial on the radio that says April? Alisa? some A name & her staff are friendly.... Couldn't be further from the truth. My go to has always been Indian Springs Tag Agency for the last 23 years. Their employees will take the time to look up your insurance info on line. I'd rather pay the $2.50 fee than go back home to get a card. To keep your blood pressure down, I'd suggest Just don't go to Forest Ridge tag place. Find a better place (Coweta tag agency had nothing but 5 stars from people that used them in the Next Door app), I'd say anyplace but this one. My hope after all I went thru with her 'make up as you go' rules, that by her pulling the sticker, putting in all the info, that she spent a bit of time trying to get everything out of the system. read more

I went in to to register my new car with my tribal tag...presented THREE identifications...my maiden name on 2... the girl held all 3...said how do I know this is you? Refused to to register my car. I had...kid you not! 4 tag team me to then ARGUE with me! I had old tribal cards... REFUSED to help me then raised their voices at me! Guess what? I went to my old tag office that had my history on file and processed my tag. These boutches need to learn PR!!!! I got po'd for them raising their tone with me! These britches demanded my CN number...it was on the back of my card!!! read more

Giving them a 3 star because even though the person who helped me was pleasant & helpful, NO ONE working there was wearing a mask, there was no capacity limit & no sanitizer in sight. Only a makeshift plexiglass partition at the desk - which is largely ineffective in stopping the spread. Covid is at an all-time high, so this made me very uncomfortable. I could not wait to put off my issue any longer, but in retrospect, I should have gone to another location in located in Tulsa. Please be mindful of the risk before you visit this agency. read more
