I went to have my drivers license renewed on the 25th. While I was finishing up with the woman, their computers/database crashed. Myself, and the whole line behind me, was advised to come back at 1 pm. They took phone numbers to give us all a call if the system came back up sooner, and we were advised that we would NOT have to wait when we returned. I went back to the office at 1 pm that day and it was shut down. I tried to call the office and the phone was not answered. I never received a return phone call. When I finally made it back into the tag agency on the 28th, the woman said they were shut down for two days, but she did remember saying we would not have to wait once we returned. When I returned, however, she was not "able" to honor her word. Being told this direct lie has made for the WORST tag agency experience ever! I will never return to this location again. read more

Knowledgeable staff. They hustled us in and out today, July 10, 2017. Even though the Arkansas dealer goofed up some of paperwork, I got a helpful instruction on what to do. I was able to address it with the dealership and my second visit was quick and effortless. We also appreciated our VIN inspection/ out of state vehicle registration being handled by a team of the ladies today. Having arrived from work in separate vehicles, the staff here got my wife & baby out of there in record time, while the paperwork was handled by another staff member. This level of courtesy is *not* to be overlooked. In the world of paying "the man" his fees, this Tag agency is as-good-as-it-gets. Thank you. Pro Tip: Very quiet first thing in the morning! Tip #2 (I think the state created the sign on the wall about CC fees, but it's confusing) - but you pay the 2.5% fee, regardless of whether you use a CREDIT or DEBIT card. Make sure you bring a check if you want to avoid the fee! read more

Obviously, the thought of having to run an errand at the Tag Agency makes most cringe. I have been to this location a couple times and was impressed by the amount of space in the waiting area and the onsite ATM machine for those pesky cash only bills. As of today, a considerable amount of construction has been going on around the roads leading up to the tag agency for the last year or so. Plan an extra 15 minutes to get there as you'll have to play detective in finding the right road to lead you to the front doors. It is nestled in the corner of a small strip of businesses. My 3 stars represent a thanks for comfortable waiting area but no thanks to the service. I'll throw the employees a bone, it must be tough getting flack from frustrated people all day. But, I'm nice and I smile. And, I'm sensitive. So, when one doesn't care to make eye contact, I cry a little inside. This always dreary establishment just happens to be established in a rather dreary strip mall. It's as if they know you experience will be terrible and don't try to make it better, even with the nicely arranged used chairs and hand written number cards you get to take when waiting your turn to be drearily serviced. All I wanted to do was renew my tag, but wasn't able to on two separate occasions. This location seems understaffed and adding to the delay and crowd was the fact that there was a new computer system which no one knew how to use. Government efficiency! Finally on my third attempt within a one week period I was finally able to achieve what now seems as a lofty goal. I walked in, grabbed a number and happily waited, excited that there was only two people in front of me. 45 minutes and $80 something later, I walked out with a fancy new tag sticker to place on my plates. Next time I'll not attempt to be so frugal and save the $1.50 and just mail in my renewal documentation. This place only gets a second star for the mere fact that it's close to my office. read more

I took in my annual renewal notification for tagging my 2007 kayak on July 3,2013 and asked for clarification on tagging kayaks AFTER JULY 1,2013 ; the woman serving me said "yep you still have to pay;everybody has been asking and you still have to pay. As I understand and now have spoken w/ OTC in OKC that you DO NOT have to pay and now I get to "work" with the refund department...OH JOY! Mid-Town Tag Agency get your complete act together. Rude workers and bad customer service. The ladies here ignore you and they always have an attitude. This shorter girl with brown hair and glasses and orange nails this week, especially. Her interactions with other customers were rude as well so I didn't take it personally. I complimented her and she ignored me I told her I needed a few moments and she was indifferent she acted bothered that I didn't have my information ready. She looked like she just woke up from a nap with half of her eyeliner gone and smeared on her cheek. To top it off she said okay, and stepped away from the desk when I wasn't ready yet and she changed her clothes and walked out of the office barefoot, kinda gross hahaThe blonde lady wasn't super nice either but there was another medium height girl with brown hair and she was nice. Collectively they huddle in the back even if people are here. They would rather make you wait then use the people they have in the back. read more

I tried calling them on the phone number they have listed on line and on an old receipt I have. First several tries, its busy. Then there's no answer, but after finally ringing about 10 times a recording comes on saying "please enter your remote access code". WTF? Do these people even have a working telephone number? Or do they just ignore it when people are calling trying to get an answer from them? Yeah, force the poor taxpayers to come in so they can experience horrible customer service in person! read more
