We were assured in writing that the ceilings would be taken care of by the day of my wedding. I asked for updates all year and was told every time "they're not done yet, but don't worry, it will get done by your wedding day," Spoiler: that did not happen Ceilings aside, there were good and bad things about this experience. On the day of the rehearsal, my foot fell through a rotten plank of wood and they immediately remedied that which was amazing. Our advisor was very kind and helpful throughout the experience and answered our endless questions. The day of the wedding, however, our advisor was not scheduled to be working, so he was not there and the only staff who were there had not met us before and, due to a language barrier, had a very tough time communicating our needs. Several things went wrong the day-of like no electricity in the ceremony space, tables and chairs incorrectly laid out (several guests had nowhere to sit), and those ceilings were still unfinished (also wasps live in the insulation and attacked one of my bridesmaids). We brought up these concerns to our advisor and never received a response. Like, for weeks. We followed up. Nothing. Then, we get a check in the mail which IMO was not for enough money, but still no communication. It's like the customer service relationship immediately ends on the day of the wedding. Just bizarre. If they ever fix these ceilings, I'd say book it and ensure that your advisor will be working the day of your wedding.

I hired Amberly and Blue Boots to be my wedding coordinator. Wedding coordinators manage, negotiate, and handle all vendors on your behalf which was explicitly stated in her contact. During the planning phase of my wedding, Amberly interviewed a DJ that I thought would be a good fit for our event and after several conversations Amberly had with this DJ, she agreed he would be a good choice. Unbeknownst to me, she went ahead and signed a contract with this DJ while we were still looking at other DJ's. Ultimately, we chose a different DJ and Amberly never went back and communicated to the original DJ that we were not going to use him. When I emailed Amberly to confirm that we chose another DJ, she had 15 days to cancel the original contact with no penalty, but she failed to follow up with the DJ and cancel the contract she signed on our behalf. He contacted her just before our event to make arrangements to DJ and that is when she informed him that he would not be our DJ. Because he had a signed contract from her, he showed up at our wedding ready to DJ. Two weeks after our wedding, this DJ sued Amberly for breach of contract because he had a signed contract from her. Amberly did not tell me he showed up on our wedding day and she did not tell me he sued her until after the fact. Subsequently, her lawyer advised the DJ to sue me since I had signed a contract with Amberly. Amberly admitted to my husband and I that she should have never signed the contract with the DJ. As soon as the DJ dropped the lawsuit against her and sued us, Amberly refused to speak with us further and even stated that if we wanted to talk to her lawyer, we would have to pay for it! This entire incident has caused us pain and clouded the memory of our wedding day. If you choose to have someone that will manage your contacts, follow through, be honest and represent you with integrity, then Amberly and Blue Boots is not your ideal choice.

Our wedding was last night, and I really don't have words for how supported we felt.
