I went in looking for PS3 controllers one of the days I went, in store was cool and I loved the setup but area is kinda sketchy first time going, $45 for an original ps3 controller and 25 for a 3rd party controller the white one was the first one they sold me which where L1 is located it was already broken and not something I've done and I went back in two days later to get a replacement for the faulty controller it even had connection issues. The second time I came in the store opens at 10Am and I was sitting in the parking lot at 10:44 and a few minutes later they arrive at 10:47 to finally get to the store as I sat in my car waiting to exchange controllers and after I go in I tell the guy about the controller he tells me that he can't warranty the white controller because it's broken and they don't sell broken controllers but I tell him I didn't break it it was sold to me like that then tells me he's going to check the cameras to see. I had a receipt texted to my number he offers to refund but I wanted a different controller to be given he gives me the black one with dirt and no offer to clean it what so ever and no testing the controllers they're selling I get home to load up a game I chose saints row 3 and my character starts walking by himself which is obviously stick drift so that's two faulty controllers I wouldn't recommend honestly but that's my experience at forever games. read more

Matt, the owner, makes the experience at this store. He's friendly, welcoming, and has an excellent selection of video games and Pokémon. I saw some magic and Yo-Gi-Oh as well! As of this weekend, they've also expanded to the back. There are tables you can set up at for trades or game nights I'm hoping they'll hold. There was a fantastic event today to celebrate the opening of the new space. They put on a day with giveaways, open trading, games, food, and drinks! Tip for anyone looking to trade - Call ahead to see if the owner will be in. Trades go soooo much more smoothly when he's there. Otherwise they have to text him, and it's difficult to play out different trading options or make counter-offers. If you're into video games or trading card games, check it out. It's a cool place to go to for gaming and Pokémon, my only complaint is that it is annoying when you ask about something in the glass shelves and the employees have to message the owner about prices, they are a bit on the pricey side too. read more

Okay, so I went there originally for a new power cord for my XBox360. They had them, at a very decent price as well. Every game I have bought from them has worked wonderfully, not problems at all. I even took my boyfriend there, he needed a battery cover for his Game Boy color, and to my surprise, they ACTUALLY HAD IT!!!! The only game shop I will go to in Gahanna, period, point blank. I've been in and out of the retro game market a few years now. I shopped here a couple times with friends back when they were still located in Pataskala next to Goodwill. I had on 2 separate occasions bought a DS Lite from the store, and both systems were broken in some capacity, the first one the triggers didn't work (common issue so didn't let it bother me too much), and had dead pixels on the bottom of the screen which would lead to a full system crash, the second one had audio problems, ended up taking the second to Ultimate Video Game Connection for one that only had cosmetic issues after swapping the first at Forever Games, and a few years back, desperate I sold them my PS3 and collection to buy a PS4, the system sounds like a jet taking off and the drive struggles to take and release games, I wouldn't recommend anyone shop here and I wouldn't set foot in there outside of them being the only store to sell YuGiOh singles after Card Academy closed shop read more

My son loves coming here. He is 9 and they always treat him really well. Good prices on current gen, retro games, handhelds and consoles and the store owner and his associates are super friendly. They offer computer and console repair and there are a ton of DVDs for sale. They also post flyers with info on whatever gaming conventions may be coming up near us.
