The nurses at the front desk are super helpful, and when you make your appointment they email you the paperwork, which is nice. They have the standing full-head X-rays, which are really nice! But they can also do the regular ones. If you have a difficult procedure they can offer gas, or needle. I needed a HUGE deep clean! In what I normally consider a horrible, painful, traumatic experience Dr. Lee made sure I felt NOTHING! They also blow soft air across your forehead and cheek during stressful procedures, to help soothe and relax you... a little weird, but it REALLY works! Just wait, you will love it too! I have had my teeth cleaned semi-regularly for almost 50 years, and have had tons of dentists. Dr. Lee is by far the softest, most gentle person I have ever encountered! Even after SUPER DEEP cleaning, I wasn't even sore the next day... I didn't even feel the numbing or anesthesia he put in me! This guy is the most undervalued dentist in Texas, I promise you!!! The short story is: they lie/gaslight after making you wait 50 minutes for your scheduled…read moreappointment, pretending that you came in an hour early (see below), even when you have an appointment confirmation showing that you came in on time. And after calling them on it, they still pretend like you were the one who made the mistake. They also will offer you things in the chair, like fluoride, without telling you that they charge $20 extra for that and that insurance doesn't cover it after the age of 18. The long story is: my husband and I usually go to the dentist together. Today we went to our 8am appointments. I scheduled them first thing because I find that doctors and dentists usually get you in closer to your appointment time when you get their first appointments of the day. We showed up at 7:57am and the lady at the front desk said we were both checked in. This was our 4th or 5th time going to this dentist. My husband was called back for his cleaning at around 8:07am. I sat there and watched as everyone who came in after us was called back. At 8:25am, the lady at the front desk saw me sitting alone in the waiting room and asked me my name again. I gave it to her, and she responded that she just wanted to make sure I was checked in and that she was sorry for the wait. No big deal, I thought. These things happen. I sat there. No one talked to me again until 8:48am when the lady came to call me back. After she called my name out, I responded that it was too late and that I didn't have time to be seen because I had already been sitting there for 50 minutes and my husband had to get to work, and since we drove together, we would have to leave as soon as he was done. The lady asked me to hold on a minute and returned to the back. This is where they lost me. The lady returned and announced to the waiting room that my appointment was actually at 9am, and that they were sorry if I misunderstood my appointment time. This was a lie. I think she said that to make the practice look better to all the people sitting in the waiting room (several people had showed up since the last time they spoke with me). My husband had received a text reminder yesterday from this practice with both of our names on it confirming our 8am appointments. So if she went back to check the system, she made the decision to lie to me about it. This practice had already done some questionable things, like making us wait more than 20 minutes for scheduled appointments and asking us if we wanted fluoride in the chair, then letting us know after the fact that there was an extra charge for that. Those are annoying, but not deal breakers for me. It was the lying that got me. If you're like me and sick of all the lying and cheating going on in the world today, I suggest you find another dentist.

The equipment was modern and effective, yet I wasn't inundated with X-rays to help pay for it all. The doctor and staff were cheerful and pleasant. I spend my days drinking several mugs of hot black tea, and I've grown accustomed to having tea stains. My past dentists would always make a big fuss about it and try to convince me to just drink hot water or try some other solution. Other times I would walk away with only a 50% reduction in the amount of stains. This time the hygienist said it was "no big deal ", and she removed every single stain in what seems to be the same time I usually spend in the chair. Then was asked to come back in a week to some impressions. Arrived at appointment, waited 20 minutes before being seen. The technician was different from the last time, did not seem real confident. Did my impressions 3 times, never getting the dentist. I leave & get a call 2 days later saying the technician broke the impressions, could I drive to Fort Worth to have a scan. I took the appointment, which is not an easy drive, 45 minutes both ways. Waited for some kind of communication nearly 2 weeks later, nothing. I called & Kayla did the leg work & got my appliance to the Rhome office. Showed up for my 2pm appointment, yet a different technician! She helped me put the appliance in, and it didn't fit properly. I think waited 30 minutes for the dentist to walk in, look at the appliance in my mouth, pull it out & take clippers & cut the appliance to fit. I just paid $350 to have him clip it? He then said, I will make another, IF you want. I plan on spending $$$ & you never showed me anything on paper. You didn't remember anything we discussed each of the 3 times I saw you. If I wanted a dentist in Fort Worth, where you obviously work most of the time, I would have chosen Fort Worth. Keep Kayla, she is the only thing going for you.

Dr. Macbride is the best dentist ever! She takes the time to determine the source of discomfort…read more She won't immediately go to an invasive procedure. She will check the bite/check for decay/thoroughly analyze the X-rays. I completely trust her. I recently had a dentist who told me I had 3 cavities, and Dr. Macbride looked at the x-rays/at each tooth and was hilarious-a stain doesn't make it a cavity; sometimes it's just a stain. Are you a coffee drinker? Her focus is not on money but on your teeth/health. If you complain of tooth discomfort, she will look for the source of the discomfort, instead of focusing on the money that can be gained from a crown/filling/root canal. Her team's hygeine/tools/equipment is a 10/10 as well. I am very grateful to Dr. Macbride, Kelly (dental hygienist), Jennifer, and Madeline at the front desk. Thank you for the great care! Peyton
